Lovely little beach close to Old Leigh for a fresh walk/relax - albeit can get very busy at weekends/holidays, especially when sun is out. Toilets close by. Narrow roads for cars...my argument is that cars shouldn't be able to drive down there and it should be pedestrian only. Best to park by Leigh Station, on Leigh hill/bridge and a 10-15 min walk.

Very nice little beach but the car park only holds about 12 cars so don't bother in summer! Narrow street to get to the beach and pub so not suitable for giant Land Rovers and 4x4s. People also wander aimlessly in the road.

Very lovely village, like old seaman village. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Unfortunately we didn’t see sea because of tide. But has little sea pool for kids on beach and my child’s really enjoyed there. Just please be aware of parking, because doesn’t have many parking area and don’t forget to pay parking charge, 1 pound per hour. I can absolutely recommend there

Cute little fisherman village with good transportation links, high quality restaurants options, walkable seaside including access to Bell Wharf beach and impressive tide activity. You can see the water 2 miles in the horizon and few hours later you have 5.5 meters of deep water just in front of you.

Relatively small beach, could easily become crowded. On the plus side it has sand and great views across the estuary and mud flats. The public toilets are close by. There are public benches to sit on along the top edge of the beach.

It’s quite small! When we went there were a handful of people there and it already felt crowded. Surrounding area isn’t particularly pleasant, the nearest building being a burnt down fishmonger. Not sure what it says that half the time we were there a police patrol car was sitting next to the entrance. However, the kids enjoyed playing in the sand/mud and splashing in the little pools the outgoing tide had left.

Nice little hidden gem spot. Spacious when the tide is out but a little cramped once it comes back.

Tiny little beach but nice enough. Toilet right by one side and an array of tea houses, ice creams, fish and chips and pubs. Lots of small car parks near by. Dogs not allowed in the summer.

Nice little beach was reasonably clean. Plenty of toilets near by and lots of little shops for an ice cream or some chips. If your looking for a pub there is at least 5 in a few mins walk. Lots of fresh seafood available .

😐 There was a lot of glass on the beach, quite dangerous for small children and animals so be careful people. I wouldn't walk on it without shoes. There was barely any water when we arrived and instead children were playing in something that looked like a mud. Not the best beach but I guess always som...
