Joss Bay is so beautiful such a nice view not overcrowded either , great facilities, no problem finding a parking space, also the cafe down at the beach has everything you need and is very modern too. The seagulls were entertaining 🀣 I would say there are a few many than preffered but if you cover your things and scare them away then your fine. Perfect beach for any age. Make sure you look at the signals to wether you can use floats on the water as I couldn't see them.and the lifeguard warned me.that I shouldn't be on my sup board right now due to the current. The lifeguards were very protective of the people in the water which gives you a sense of confidence whilst in the water.

This is one of my favourite beaches in Kent. Easily reachable, parking every time available. Facilities: toilets, shower, a small cafe with snacks and ice cream on the beach. A protective lifeguard is present. In sunny summer weather can be crowded. Be aware of cheeky seagulls. The water is shallow and warmish.

Nice sandy beach backed by white cliffs with a surf shack on the sand. There's a car park with ample room and a toilet block too. Dogs allowed from October to April πŸ•

I went to the Joss beach and it was just needed. The beach is very intimate, clean and perfectly sandy. I rate the beach a good 4 stars because the toilets when I went in was absolutely unhygienic. Nobody aimed to clean the mess. I couldn’t physically go in there due to it. There was pads scattered on the cubicle. So I pretty much held my bowels for the entire day. The people seemed lovely but also some of the staff were just rude. Minus that, the beach was scenic, refreshing and beautiful. I’m so thankful for visiting something new and not so typical.

Lovely place for a day out. Was very busy but only Β£5.90 for 24hr parking. It said no dags allowed so i left my 2 dogs at home. However there was lots of dogs there so not sure on the rules. Still i had a nice swim and a nice day out. I will be visiting again soon

Incredible beach. Lots of space, the sun is available for the whole day on the main beach. You can make barbecues on the sides of the beach - great. The only main issue was going back to London, it took me 2 hours to get in here, but 4 hours to go back.

Beautiful beach, fantastic cafe! We also went paddle boarding and the staff were very knowledgable and professional. There is also bouncy castles and trampolines and are very reasonably priced. Plenty of parking too and public toilets.

Lovely beach with super sand, watch out for the flint coming off the chalk cliffs. No seaweed problem here Parking 6 pounds all day just steps away from the beach. There is a lovely little cafe serving tea food etc. The toilets are OK as well.

A nice cute sandy beach which is clean. No dogs allowed. There are deck chairs, parasols, sunloungers, and area pegs for hire atΒ£4 each plus a refundable Β£1 each deposit. It's good for each swimming, and surf boards are available for hire. Parking is available between 7 am- 11 pm. It's around Β£5 all day to park. There is a small eatery and toilets but they are very busy on a packed day, and not very clean. Overall a nice beach.

Pretty sandy beach framed by white cliffs. It’s even nicer for being a short distance away from the main local towns. Some facilities, parking, a cafe and shop there

Such a lovely beach! It was clean of rubbish and so inviting. I loved going for a dip in the sea yesterday and can't wait to come back to Broadstairs! It was not overcrowded but still had a good number of people. All were having fun. Great place!

Beautiful small sandy beach. Toilet's and a small shop/cafe. Well off the beaten track. Not the best destination if you're using public transport.

Best little beach in Kent, lovely and sheltered, great for families, easy to keep an eye on the kid's. Handy little cafe selling all you need, snacks hot drinks Ice creams, bucket and spade. Also has a thriving surf school if you want to learn safely how to surf.

Really nice walk along the golden sandy beach. There are several little hidden corners to have your own private spot. The geology of the chalk cliffs is interesting and photogenic

Had a couple of brilliant days here over the summer. It can get ridiculously busy so beware! We hired a couple of stand up paddle boards and paddled out beyond the crowds. It was a really hot day and the sea was so flat! Have to say it was awesome - loved it!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Love this place. Plenty of on street free parking, good access down a slope to the dog friendly beach(all year round). There's a small cafe. You can walk to Broadstairs and Ramsgate easily asking the beach.... As long as the tide is out! Lovely cliffs all along both routes.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great safe beach, loads of beach huts & beach cafe, toilets are a trek up a many stairs at the top of the cliff. These are all shut through the winter & the beach huts are all removed. The winter months the beach is mainly used by dog walkers (dogs not allowed between 10am & 6pm in the summer)

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Known locally as The Artificial Beach, this used to have beach huts and other facilities back in the days before they built the new road to the port. The sand, I believe originally dredged from the English Channel, is gradually being washed away, exposing chalk rock pools at low tide. There's still...
