What an amazing place to walk. The colours of Autumn are truing amazing. Lots of different trees and bushes. Car park only £3 or free parking locally. Nice and quiet and child friendly. Went with a walking group and really enjoyed a 3 to 4 hour walk.

Love this place, use to come and play as a kid, now as an adult lol.. A beautiful ancient woodland bursting with hues of orange in autumn, little streams, and ponds, grazing cattle, amazing plant and wild life, a huge variety of bats, plus foxes, badgers and deer all come out at twilight, a heaven of wonderland

Had an amazing time! Nice atmosphere being surrounded by the trees and benches scattered around the area when you want to have a rest after walking. There's a cafe nearby with a good selection of food at affordable prices. Hope to visit again soon!

Don't come here it's mine. You wouldn't like all the fantastic trees, ponds, and streams, the fresh air and all the wildlife. It's not for you.

Beautiful, quiet place for walking / mountain biking. Lots of car parking (not sure if it is free) on hard pack, so may struggle with a wheelchair. No toilets or play area, just lots of open space & ancient forest.

Really sad what's happened with these woods, got a parking ticket for a day where the machine wasn't working and I didn't even stay, literally just in and out the car to see if the machine would work but no. Honestly disgusted as have been going there from a young age and they take the mick. If I find those responsible they'd best run away

Beautiful woods, especially during the Autumn when the whole place glows with copper and gold leaves.

What a beautiful, peaceful, incredible place! There are plenty of different walks all around the area of varying difficulties and accessibility. The cafe offers a great range of food and sweet treats. There is also a great open space for picnics and smaller kids to run around. An absolute must visit place.

Lightly tended ancient oak and beech forest and rich floor fauna make this an enchanting place for a stroll. Good cafe and visitors centre near car park and entrance.
