Great place to visit. Lots to see and do, including a long pier which is nice to walk up. The arcade games on the pier make this place feel like a classic British beach town, which it is. Plenty of fish and chip shop places dotted around and Ice-cream! The huts are in excellent condition. Way better than Mersea Island just down the road. It’s definitely worth a trip to see it and spend a few hours looking around. Very relaxing and enjoyable, especially if the sun is out.

Beautiful! Spent some time to have a slow walk with my Miss. Enjoy the quiet moment when we live nearby few years ago!

Lovely sandy stretch of beach. Promenade is very good lots of benches etc to sit and watch the sea. Good public toilets and nice little eateries with the usual tea shops and ice cream shops. Parking convenient too. Last of the sunny days enjoyed here although it was windy.

This really is a pretty amazing beach, no stones or pebbles, just lovely sand. Pay and display parking by the station, definitely worth a visit.

Nice day out with the kids, not busy compared to southend on sea more relaxed and calm atmosphere. Nice clean beach and amusements for the kids, hand sanitizer stations at every ride inside the amusement park also in the public toilets. Car park situated right next to beach and cost is reasonable,Overall very nice beach to relax or enjoy day out with the familyπŸ‘

Very clean, large beach goes on for miles and miles ! Clear golden sand, plenty of places to get ice cream/snacks ! Shame the pier was closed, looking forward to the works being finished ! There's a few toilets scattered about which was helpful with a 3 year old ! Also a few seating areas to shelter from the wind ! I went to this beach alot as a child, now taking my daughter there for her childhood memories! It's a lovely place

We really enjoyed the beach at Walton on the Naze. The beach to the left of the pier is dog friendly and it was nice to see dog's running on the beach yet under the control of their owners. We searched for shark teeth and shells. The beach to the right of the pier is completely clear of stones. Nicely compact. Plenty of beach houses all colourfully painted. We enjoyed fish and chips from s sore just off the front. The pier is so long. We didn't manage to walk it. But for sure it would be an experience we would have enjoyed.

It's one of the nicest sandy beaches I've been to in england, well maintained and a clean sea But its having a beach hut that makes it. Covid has pretty much seen of the infrastructure of the place with most shops closed or ceased trading. But if you can rent a hut, take your own food and be self sufficient its s great day out

Beach was clean and clear, we took a walk up to nature reserve from Walton pier viewing the sites and had a great time, the only let down was the public toilets by walton shops opposite the beach they need servicing more frequently and the sanitary bins empty more offten. We used other public toilets on our walk, overall we had a brilliant day and met lots of lovely locals.

Fantastic clean beach. Golden sand stretching all the way from The Naze to Frinton on Sea. Superb place for a swim, build a sandcastle or sunbathe on a sunny day...the kids will love it. There are plenty of facilities on the beach too, including cafes, public toilets, and I noticed lifeguards during my recent visit. There are also water taps dotted randomly where you can rinse your feet if you've been for a paddle. The pier is close by should the weather take a turn for the worse. I highly recommend this beautiful beach.

Absolutely fantastic day out. Nice sandy beaches and loads of clear stretches of water to swim in. They have a toy library so if you go with no buckets and spades for the kids pick some out of the box and pop them back when finished. Their are plenty of snacks and drinks available from the kiosks. The beach also boasts a great pier. Best part for me was searching the beach for shark teeth. Loads of fossils waiting to be found. We spent a few days here whilst on our holiday. Would 100 percent recommend it to anyone and will definitely be going back. With the right weather its as good as anywhere. If the weather does take a turn whilst you are there you can pop onto the pier or to the under cover seats. It is also great that they have beach patrols keeping everyone safe. Oh and special mention to the lifeguard who swam out to get my sons inflatable boat after he jumped out and let it float away lol.

One of the cleanest beaches around. Popular, but not overcrowded. Great for the dogs out of season too.

The main tourist beach at Walton-on-Naze is located to the left of & within easy walking distance of Walton Pier. It's a soft sandy beach but becomes muddier with some clay further out at low tide. It's popular all year round with dog walkers, but can become very crowded during school holiday season. It's also a perfect location to view the sun rising over the North Sea.

Weather was awful but the beach hut we rented saved the day. Grandchildren enjoyed the beach regardless. Very little litter, the beach toy/bucket exchange was a great idea. Parking was free and probably due to the weather, plentiful. A good day

Lovely for a walk. Nice and clean beach. Few coffee shops around. Free parking close by. It's not overcrowded. Or maybe we just been lucky.

Lovely place, not very crowded. So we could set up a nice place down the beach. Public toilets need to have some cleaning staff permanent to keep them clean. The council could charge 0.50 Β£ for use and keep them clean.

Had our own section of the beach which was great. Very quiet on the day we went but we did go closer to the Naze tower end so that it would be more peaceful.
