Wonderful place to stroll through. Lots of bird watching hides to capture some photography. Peaceful and relaxing. The scenery is amazing. The reserve is a mix of salt marshes, mudflats, sand dunes, and grazing marshes. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, fish, invertebrates, and plants. The reserve is a popular spot for bird watching, walking, and cycling. Overall, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is a great place to visit for a day out in nature. It is a beautiful and peaceful place with a variety of wildlife to see. Respect the wildlife and do not disturb them. Leave no trace of your visit. Recommended.

I was glad to have been in this place. It is beautiful. For who loves nature and like go to a walking or even by bike. It is amazing, I had the opportunity to take some nice pic that I love. The day I went there a little raining but still I had a nice time. The beach is beautiful and the place is lovely. You could see families with children enjoy the walk around! I was there end the summer but sure i will back in spring and summer to enjoy all that place can offer, special the birds, the nature.

Such a beautiful place to walk, ride bikes and exercise your dogs. There’s free parking with a donation box, cafe & information center along the first part of the walk which opens at 10am although it would be a good idea to open earlier as they miss a great deal of the early morning walkers… you can walk around in a couple of loops which can take an hour or so or the longer two hour loop. There is a path all the way to pet level car park which is suitable for bicycling, children’s buggy’s and wheel chairs but the loops have pebbles and can get quite muddy, quite often needing wellies. Also it gets very busy when weather is fine at the weekends!

Lovely place to visit at any time if year, even when it's raining. Lots of paths upto the beach and through the marshes, so can just wander around looking at nature.

It’s beautiful! Worth a visit anytime of day but early evenings are a great time, it’s typically quiet and the sunsets are incredible. The beach is shingle until the tide goes out, it’s not a sunbathing beach as such but amazing scenery and perfect for walking the dog. It’s about 15mins walk from the car park to the beach. I would recommend Camber Sands for sunbathing (stunning Sandy beach). The visitor centre in the nature reserve has good barista style coffee, cakes, sandwiches and a gift shop. All are worth indulging in.

It's a really nice, informative place to go for a walk. You can start easily from Rye Harbour car park and walk all the way down to the shingle beach. Perfect for bird watching!

This place is so beautiful. Loads of bird life. The dog is allowed to walk with you. There are some bird hides. Had a lovely day out here. The discovery centre also has a dog friendly cafe.

It's a nice little nature reserve mixed with sandy & rock beaches. The scenery when the sun is going down is outstanding & there's also plenty of nice paths to walk on. Seven sisters cliff is also visible on a clear day.

Quite quiet and beautiful place. Tip: If you have binoculars, take them with you. There are many special places in the park for bird watching. Ten minutes from Rye by car or an hour's walk. There is also a bus, but it runs rarely. Because it's not easy to get to, most tourists stay in town, which makes it a much less busy and pleasant place to visit.

Our 1st visit here and will definitely return. A beautiful place to walk around and there were so many varieties of birds to see, You also have access to the beach and the views across the bay were outstanding. Parking nearby is free as are the public toilets in the village, they do ask for a donation for the upkeep which is not an unreasonable request.

Great spot for bird watching. The path closer to the beach is much easier to walk. The path inland is very muddy and full of paddies. You should prepare boots if planning to take that route.

Lovely walk by the sea. Visitor centre and old world War pill box were interesting stop offs as we're the bird hides. Saw curlew, Sparrowhawk, Skylark, Egret, Turnstone, Redshank and Little Grebe to name a few..Donation car park, toilets and a decent pub nearby for a tasty lunch. Dog friendly reserve.

I love there!!!!! Very dog friendly. We tried two different restaurants in Rye, both good! We will definitely go back to there again 🧡 The only thing you may need to be careful is that it’s very foggy at night, (based on weather) drive carefully. 💛
