The boardwalk along the river is hustling with people and the atmosphere is lively! There are many places to eat and drink and you can take a boat ride or see the whole city from the London Eye!

Starting as a small trickle in the Cotswolds the River Thames travels over 210 miles through the heart of some of England’s most picturesque towns, right into the centre of London and eventually, out into the North Sea. The River Thames may take its name from the Sanskrit Tamas meaning β€œdark” as its waters are often dark and cloudy; another school of thought is that it is named after the Roman Tam meaning β€œwide” and Isis meaning water.

The beauty of London is the amazing things you get to see when you walk every single time. One of the few places in the world where there are copious amount of place to walk and enjoy the heritage. One of the best cities if you are an avid walker. Never ceases to surprise you

Wonderful location in London. The Thames River has many cross points but the one by the London Eye and Big Ben is full of life and culture!

English river going through London and southern England. Lots to see and do along this busy, lovely River. If you in central London, there is lots of walks that can be done. Boat rides, and when the river tide is low, you can places like small coves and beaches (be careful and make sure you can get back quickly if the tide starting to come in). If you like a good spot for a photo, London Bridge looking towards tower bridge is good, and if you get there in the morning before sun rises, you can see the sun coming up. If in London,a walk / visit to the river is a must.

Beautiful river crossing though beautiful city of London. This river has a history as this city. Both goes together side by side. When this river enters city of London, it makes this city more beautiful. Many incredible views u get while walking around the city. Many historical buildings such as Tower of London, Tower London, St Paul Cathedral, Big Bang tower, Westminster building etc. cruise ships r the best way to enjoy the city view from Thames. Many bridges at this river. All I want to have a long walk beside the River Thames.

Enjoy awesome journey in river Thames from one of the cruise. Enjoy the spectacular views of London. Don’t miss the London bridge. It is an hour journey. Toilets and cafeteria are available in the ferry. Just relax and find the best spot in the cruise to take great pics.

The River Thames is one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the whole of the UK. There are so many interesting places to visit that exist along the river for miles and miles.

Walk along it, take a bus along it or the best way is to take a river boat tour down it, excellent views & wonderful buildings and architecture to see. Obviously you have the iconic bridges to see along with the London eye & Westminster house's of parliament.

Very amazing place to be! So much history combined with modern architecture! We really enjoyed our boatstrip over the river themse - the only pity was that the big ben was covered for some resaurations.

The bridges that cross over this place make me really tempted to jump off and end it all. My life has crumbled into a ball of disbelief and misery and i get more and more tempted everyday. The cold waters looking inviting and friendly. If you find me in here u leave all my assets to my dearest friend caitlin howarth.

Take a walk along the south bank from the city centre easterly past Greenwich to the Thames barrier. Lots of historical sites to see and at low tide you can find steps leading down to the river bed. One of London's best walks.

There are some amazing bike rides and walks along the Thames, and so many nice cafes and restaurants along the way. It is also a great place to see a range of different birds. I love this river :)

A national treasure of a river, goes through most of London. I've seen it a few times, and it does connect really well with London, possibly anywhere you go, no matter what pictures you take of the Thames, it does comes back with good consequences. One example is when I took the picture of the Thames in Westminster from the London Eye, and it was good, with the sun shines in the sky with daily traffic at the bottom of the eye.

Walking along the Thames in London is a top notch experience and probably one of the nicest and most picturesque walks you can take in this city. However the water is quite dirty so don't drink it and don't swim in it if you value your health
