The caravan and park as a whole was great. Excellent service in the restaurant and bar, the mini market had everything that you might need, something for meals, snacks and souvenirs. There is a Burger King and Papa John's on site too. The main down side about the holiday park is the steep hills. To get to my caravan in Meadow Bank, I had to go down a very steep gradient (I'd say near a 1 in 4 gradient or there about). This hill was going down towards Rory's Village. There is another hill but not as steep, just pass the bar, The Saxon. The other small down side was how far we were from the beach. I knew we wouldn't be on the beach but we had to drive into Hastings to get on the beach when it looked a lot closer on the Haven website pictures. The TV signal stopped working on the second to last day, we rung reception and in under an hour there was someone there to fix it. Excellent customer care, the reception team were always happy and ready to help. There is a lot of disabled parking around the park that I saw. In Meadow Bank there was a lot of caravans with there own parking space as we had no issues with parking.

Great park, great units, bit dated some units but no issues at all. The staff clean the full park every day and are always helpful. The main gate security was very, very good. Found mine well cleaned and in good order. Be aware that there are some BIG hills to get up to pool and shops so ask for a unit on the top of the hill.... One idea for the whole group (Haven) is offer sun loungers to each unit, £40 deposit and in return of good condition you give £30 back, you make £10 profit. I never bring chairs and would really like the option to loan a quality seat to enjoy the sun....

Just returned from Combe Haven after staying there for 3 nights. Have to say that I was very happy with my stay and pleased with our accommodation and the site in general. I would like to add a personal note of thanks to Emily on the front desk at Reception who saw to us when my daughter was a little poorly on our last morning there. She also arranged for us to stay in one of the spare caravans for a short while until my daughter was well enough to travel home. Would definitely stay here again. :)

We were welcomed by a very friendly security guard, he even gave our dog a bag of treats, really nice. Whilst on that subject, all the guards were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The site was clean, the caravan was spotless.

Came back on Friday from spending a week here. Absolutely fabulous park. The caravan was immaculate with absolutely everything we could have wished for. Lots of space than some places we have stayed. Every member of staff had a smile on their face! The security team were A+, the guy that cleaned up in the clubhouse and toilets works like a trojan. The bar staff were happy and did a great job. Definitely be back x

Booked a disability accessed caravan. Great caravan, easy access both in & out of wheelchair. Clean & tidy. Soft furnishings all clean & good standard. Wet room & high seated toilet with plenty of grab rails for easy showering & seat attached to wall if needed. Clean & tidy kitchen with small dishwasher. Thoroughly recommended for either elderly or disabled person & carer. Only shortfall was no disabled parking space outside caravan. It did back onto a carpark but not always space available outside this caravan. Stayed before in another van on same & site & space was next to van & marked out. Near club house & amenities which has advantages but also quite noisy at night. Overall though great value for money & definitely do it again.

Stayed here in May for 4 nights. Thank you so much for the surprise upgrade! We paid for a bronze but we received a silver caravan which was immaculate! The park itself was very clean and well kept. The staff were lovely and helpful. Entertainment was great! All of our expectations were exceeded and we would definitely recommend a visit to others! Thank you to all haven staff who made our visit a wonderful experience!

Just returned from our second week away this year. All we can say is wow. We took our chances on accommodation, having selected the caravan we wanted last time. But we were in for the most pleasant surprise. Our caravan was brand new with amazing features, including wrap around decking and Bluetooth speakers. We were also located in a lovely quiet spot in Saxon Court facing out on to the river. Absolutely gorgeous. The living space had everything we needed, it was super clean and extremely comfortable. The park was well run and the staff all polite and friendly. The facilities were all open and although we didn't use them all they were clean and tidy and ready for a busy week. The food we had in the Mash & Barrel was delicious and well priced. Can not fault the place and we are already booking to go back again before this year is out. Thank you Combe Haven

Brought my two year old in June and she loved it so much we booked again for September. Honestly cannot rate this place enough! So much for children of all ages (only thing that could be added would be a soft play area maybe?) The staff at this place are phenomenal! Chris at Mash and Barrel, customer service second to none, he is constantly dashing about the place making sure guests are ok and everything is running smoothly! Same can be said for Ryan and his bar team. On the third day of our break my daughter decided to go wandering on an adventure. After a panicked look for her, Ruby from the entertainment team told me that a child had been found and 5 minutes later up rolled Eden on a golf buggy with lovely Jodie and another staff member whose name I forget! She looked like she was having a whale of a time 🤣 Bumped into Jodie a couple of times and she loved telling me about her and Eden bonding 🤣 We will definitely come back again, such a personal experience for us this time 🥰 Also, Ruby can’t half belt out a tune! Thank you Combe Haven for making my and my daughter’s holiday such a special experience!

A nice cheap holiday. The customer service is great particularly the security staff. It is a busy noisy site with lots going on. Perfect for families with lots of parks, activities and a pool to use. There is a shop on site and some takeaway places like Burger King, papa johns and fish and chips. It’s very hilly! If you’re at the top in the noisier part of the park you’re not going to need to scale it but if you’re at the bottom it really is a steep climb. My other issue was the lack of parking near our caravan but I noticed the ones at the bottom of the hill had personal spaces. The pool is clean, there’s an outside pool with plenty of sun loungers to hang out on. The lifeguards are everywhere and really helpful. The other visitors were rough and ready at times. We found from Monday check in the other visitors were more on our wavelength. I think they have a lot of long weekend visitors from council estates checking in on Fridays and leaving on Mondays, if hanging out in a council estate is your scene then you’ll fit right in. Everyone was friendly the whole time but the language, cannabis smoking and behaviour was definitely worse over the weekend. We did enjoy visiting the on-site bar (at the bottom of the hill not the one by the main complex) the other more chilled visitors seemed to go there. The staff were lovely, there’s a ball pit for youngsters and bar games for teens. Overall a good, cheap holiday which young kids will love. Just check in on Monday and dodge the cannabis smokers.

Generally a very nice site but it has very steep terrain. We stayed in Blue Quarry and it was a steep walk up the path or the main road to get to the facilities. If you’re disabled I would chose a caravan nearer the facilities or just be prepared to drive every time you go out as the hills aren’t easy. The roads on site are very narrow and in the area we were you couldn’t park next to your caravan, you park off the road. The caravan was clean and didn’t smell, we had bronze and essentially got what we paid for. Spacious, basic but we only use it as a base so it was good. The entertainment was good but incredibly loud so we didn’t stay long as our three year old found it overwhelming. The arcades are fab but no air con. The arcade staff were friendly and helpful and so were the security team. Good shop, some coop bits over priced but it was well stocked. Great size pool, really warm water and plenty of space in the changing rooms. We didn’t go in the outside pools or on the slide. Couple of parks on site where good but absolutely no shade so couldn’t use them much. We booked in for the character breakfast on the morning we left and it was great. Nice food and it wasn’t busy so we got to spend a fair bit of time with the characters. Overall it was a lovely site, but I don’t think we would come back to this site as we prefer others.

Not disabled friendly, very very overpriced. The facilities are not designed to cope with the amount of people on site. 2300 people on site and the restaurant only seats 100 people at a time and you have to book. In fact, everything has to be booked. I have never seen so many caravans crammed in so close together. Used to be a nice place to holiday, now it's just a cash cow for Haven holidays. Really really disappointing

We have been a few times and will go again. A great getaway with clean accommodation and nice facilities. Lots to do and easy enough to get into Hastings. If you go to the bottom section, this takes you out to a small river with beautiful scenery and a lovely walk. This time on our visit, our accommodation was facing the sea and views towards Eastbourne cliffs. Local supermarkets are close by including a new ALDI. Nighttime in the venue they work hard to give a good show with lots of imagination and interaction plus live bands, singers and camp bingo which is fun. Very child friendly as it is adult friendly. All staff were engaging and friendly, except one member of Burger King but I guess he was stressed. Arcade is good too.

Loved this place, caravan really nice and clean. My daughter's and grandchildren enjoyed themselves. Staff were absolutely amazing, really friendly and courteous. Combe Haven is a child friendly place so great for families with kids. Dog friendly too as we took our dog who also made great friends with other dogs on site. Combe Haven is on a hill so if you have mobility issues or kids in a pram this could be awkward. Noticed a few golf carts on site manned by staff perhaps Coombe Haven could do an on site taxi service where visitors can book golf cart to entertainment areas for a small fee, which would cover the cost of golf cart and staff wages. As a dad I spent a great time with my girls and grandchildren so a big thanks to Coombe Haven for a lovely family time together.

Booked a privately owned caravan as Haven only do admissions Monday, Friday and Saturday and we wanted another day, so needed to buy entertainment passes separately which were over £100 for 3 people for 4 nights. Specifically booked a Haven getaway for the kids for lots of free activities. Was disappointed to find that you had to pay for 90% of activities making the passes an expensive waste of time. Park was generally well kept. Most staff were pleasant and helpful but there were a few that were bordering on ignorant and rude. Beach is about 20 minute walk away.

Love this place, nice friendly vibe, cleanliness is great! Everywhere tidy clean and rubbish free! Good staff.. barring one..but I guess there's always one, but even she eventually redeemed herself..so we will say she was having a bad day 👍 Kids areas and entertainment are on point, the drive there was easy...overall great week.

Me and my family have stayed at Combe Haven on a number of occasions and have always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. On our most recent visit they were more than happy to change our check in time as we weren't going to make the one provided. The site is only a 10 minute walk to the beach and there are shops just a short walk down the road. The site is extremely hilly making it very difficult to walk through and there are not many pathways so you end up walking on the roads at times. This does make it quite difficult to drive through during the day as families are making their way up the complex, this is made harder by the very large speed bumps. There also doesn't seem to be enough car parking spaces for the number of caravans on site which makes it very difficult to find a space when entering the site late. On most occasions when we've visited we have found the caravan to be clean and tidy but on recent stays we have found dirty cutlery and plates in our caravan. Overall it is a very good value place to stay in a brilliant location despite its flaws. I will definitely be staying again!

The site was very good and the caravans were well cleaned and prepared for our arrival. Staff were very friendly and helpful when required. The pool working on a 1 HR booking slot, which also has a large slide. The entertainment is good for families and keeping the little ones busy. The restaurant on site is clean and tidy and again staff friendly and helpful however the meals we had weren't great. Same menu has other Haven's but cooked different. Wife's noodles were nice but nothing to write home about and she felt disappointed with them. My lasagna was edible but very disappointed with it no white sauce seen between layers and way too much cheese on top, they also put carrots in it and had a bland taste. So overall the site is great just food a little disappointing.

I'm from London.. its lovely either one you go too all pretty standard.. staff where lovely had no issues, for some reason more security in the entertainment than other havens, not sure if that's to do with the 'audience' they have ..or the timing of holiday and the people that choose to go away when we did, or if it's the area 🤔 ..you can book all your sessions on the app for this place..a nice amount to choose from ..not hundreds but enough to entertain the kids.. not may activities for toddler age group. Older kids 7+ more options.

Great little family getaway. Staff polite, friendly and welcoming. Clean environment and plenty of things to do. The only downside was the outdoor pool shutting early at random times, the slide not being turned on and entertainment closing early due to staffing issues (in the middle of a heatwave) and it's being a few days out of peak season despite most families taking the chance to have a cheaper break.

I've always loved a Haven Holiday and it's quite clear to see the improvements and updating that has taken place since our last visit. Wonderfulhelpful staff, very kid friendly, good entertainment and our caravan was spotless and perfect. My sons first experience in a caravan and it certainly won't be the last. Until next time Combe Haven. Thank you!!!

Fantastic park and security staff! Very friendly and remember who you are from just a brief wave 👋. Park is laid out nicely and clearly right between the seaside and walking paths with the hills which has some lovely wildlife that can be seen at night!! We have had a great time and the caravans are amazing quality especially for the price you cannot go wrong! 100% we will be coming here again next summer! :)

The caravan was really clean and spacious. The place in itself is really big so you might need to follow the map to get to the right accommodation, I didn't know, so, learnt the lesson, mostly if walking and under heavy rain at night. 😁 The restaurant and amusement are nice and there is also a little shop for essentials. Plus open swimming pool and more. Recommended.

Had lots of problems with the caravan waited nearly 5 day's to get towels delivered TV was on the wrong stand so was dangerous, curtain rail was lose and fell down fridge wasn't cold enough and our milk went off . Was at the furthest part away from the entertainment venue so my mobility scooter wouldn't get up the steep hills. Entertainment staff very bland will never come back again

Spent half term here in a Seaview caravan. on arrival people in front of me were having their holiday cancelled due to flooding on the park. I felt so sorry for them as if it were me and travelling 5 hours, haven should of done better and rung them. Had food at burger King, there was a restaurant and papa John's on site Amusements were large and had evening entertainment. Site was the biggest we've stayed on Lovely big swimming pool with changing rooms Security on gate at all times, poor people in their hut during the storm though ! Caravan was a bronze 3 bed with a separate toilet as well as bathroom. It's the smallest 3 berth we've stayed in but was fine for us. Shame it wasn't checked that there was no tin opener in the drawers so I suggest everything to be checked by cleaner. I did notice a mark on 2 duvet covers, was given clean, then this has a rip in. I didn't bother complaining again as it was clean. Visited as was seeing close friends for the week

The park is clean with lots of amenities and things to do for kids. Some come with extra price tag and more popular ones get filled up quickly. Booking is essential and can be booked a few weeks in advance so worth doing if you want to be assured of a space. Lots of food available on site pizzas can even be delivered to the caravan. Mixture of private owners and park owners. Lots of play areas dotted about no need to get bored.

Perfect for either a holiday or for a day visit to the pool, bar, shop, amusement arcade, burger king , pappajohn pizza, chip shop, outside play parks and various activities as well as bingo and a live evening show. Lovely staff and the whole place has a good friendly atmosphere! Highly recommended.

This is one of my favourite haven sites to go to. Staff are always super friendly. Site is on a hill so make sure your ready for walking. Caravans always decent, we had a dog friendly one this time was lovely. Swimming pool was very warm. Changing rooms could do with a little bit more cleaning and water sweeping away more often. Also more baby changing tables. Only 3/ 4 with baby change in pool area so had to wait for one which was annoying. Reception staff anf security were lovely as were the activity people. Did find the restaurant to be busy, tables not cleaned and staff not happy that you wanted to order drinks at the bar.

1st impressions of customer service always lasts. Met by Dan the Security guard and his customer service was fantastic. Directions yo the caravan and a general pleasant demeanour. Lots of hill on this caravan park and a great pool (booking swim sessions can be tricky though). Generally, the customer service was good. Services were also good.
