This is a great place for photos, facing either up or down river, and the views of the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye and the Victoria Embankment are especially good. The bridge handles a good amount of pedestrian traffic in addition to vehicles, so its best to come early in the morning. Stay alert, there are thieves at work here who target visitors and their cameras, purses and cell phones. Beware of being bumped, overly friendly strangers and a variety of scams. However, don't let these people deter you, just use some caution and pay attention....and don't wave your camera or cell phone around unnecessarily. Keep your hand on such items at at all times, don't slip your digital camera or cell phone carelessly into a pocket or a purse. This is one of the best places in London from which to take photos.

Westminster Bridge is a road traffic and foot bridge over the River Thames between Westminster and Lambeth in London. It’s located right next to the Big Bell, so tourists can find great spots for taking amazing photos. We were there on a weekday afternoon and it’s not crowded at all but we were not sure if it’s due to the pandemic. However, it’s windy on the bridge, so make sure to watch all your stuff, especially hats.

Westminster Bridge is an iconic bridge in London, United Kingdom that crosses over the River Thames. It's located in central London and connects the area around the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben to the South Bank. The bridge itself is a beautiful piece of architecture and provides stunning views of some of London's most famous landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye, and the South Bank. It's a popular spot for tourists to take photos and enjoy the views. In addition to the views, Westminster Bridge also has a lot of history. It was opened in 1862 and has since been renovated and updated multiple times. Overall, Westminster Bridge is definitely worth a visit if you're in London. Whether you're a history buff, a fan of architecture, or just looking for some great views, you won't be disappointed!

I had an amazing time at Westminster Bridge! This iconic landmark offers breathtaking views of the River Thames, the Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye. Whether you're a history buff, a photographer, or just looking for a relaxing stroll, Westminster Bridge is a must-visit destination in London. The bridge itself is beautifully designed and well-maintained, with plenty of space for pedestrians and cyclists. I especially enjoyed taking in the views of Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster, which look especially stunning at night when they are illuminated. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Westminster Bridge if you're in London. It's a great spot to take in the city's beauty and history, and the perfect place to snap some memorable photos. Don't miss out on this fantastic attraction!

One of my favourable places in London. You get to see all the iconic landmarks just standing there. Summer would be the best period for photo-taking, but the location is great all year round. A must-visit.

Spending one day with Big Ben & London Eye on Westminster Bridge, What could be better than that? It was just the most amazing time I ever had, I saw too many people come from different nations and countries, and also I saw two nice couples come to take a shoot for their weddings here on Bridge, I take a long walk and enjoyed my time, also take too many nice photos and videos for remembering.

Westminster Bridge is one of the two most iconic London bridges in my opinion. The views across to Big Ben and parliament are stunning as you head north across the bridge. There are also fabulous views of London both sides of the bridge and a lovely view of the London Eye too as you cross the bridge to the south-side. Downside is the bridge is very busy at times as it is right next to the London Eye/Aquarium etc and full of tourists, so you need to be careful of your belongings as there are pick-pockets in this area. It is also worth walking across the bridge at night as well for fab photos of London at night.

Very beautiful I loved it. Good bridge made with vintage style and material they used was very old. The view of parliament is stunning and wordless. I enjoy walk with my friend around Westminster bridge. There is some construction work going on so traffic was diverted here and there but it's ok.

Stand on Westminster Bridge, and you can get some great views of London. You can see the Elizabeth Tower that houses Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, The London Aquerium which used to hose The Greater London Council before Margaret Thatcher disbanded the GLC. You can also get some great views of the River Thames.

Westminster is an extraordinary district that embodies the very essence of British history, politics, and culture. The imposing Houses of Parliament, with the iconic Big Ben (now known as the Elizabeth Tower), stand as a powerful symbol of democratic governance. The grandeur of Westminster Abbey, steeped in centuries of royal ceremonies and historical significance, is truly awe-inspiring. Parliament Square, adorned with statues of influential figures, pays tribute to the giants of history. St. James's Park offers a serene respite in the heart of the city, with its scenic beauty and charming wildlife. The proximity to Buckingham Palace adds an air of regality to the area. Westminster Cathedral's stunning architecture and spiritual resonance provide a striking contrast to the political fervor nearby. The Cabinet War Rooms and Churchill Museum offer a fascinating glimpse into the nation's wartime history. The combination of these landmarks and their historical weight make Westminster an unparalleled destination for those seeking a profound connection to the roots of British identity and governance. It's a place where the past and present converge in a way that's both humbling and inspiring. A visit to Westminster is an absolute must for anyone seeking to understand and appreciate the rich tapestry of British heritage

Westminster Bridge is an iconic place. A great place to be creative with with traffic and the Big Ben tower in the background. Especially in the evening. If there is a red bus in the background it even comes out perfect.

You have to take a walk on the famous Westminster Bridge back and forth to observe the skyline and the Westminster Hall and Abbey from the distance and across the Thame. Spend more time to soak with the history. Cheers!

Iconic place as you can see the Parliament house, Big Ben and the London Eye all from this bridge. Weekend is always busy but weekdays are normally easier to capture some nice pics without too many people.

Killer scenery view! It was my first time to be in one of the most iconic place in London. As soon as I got down from the Eye of London, me and my wife grabbed some sausages and walk straight to the bridge to get a bus. This will be the place I will visit everytime I come to London. I’m from Malaysia, by the way :)

Great Bridge, great place to have the view of the iconic London eye and the River Thames. This was my 3rd visit to London and in every visit, I came to this bridge to do the photo session of London eye, River Thames, Big Ben and Palace of Westminster. Enjoyed every bit. My wife and my daughter also enjoyed their time here.

This is the best place to take a picture of Big Ben imo. It is quite busy so take a quick picture.. You can rest at the end of the bridge by the river. Also a good location to take pictures. Try the hotdogs they sell along the bridge!

Great view to Big Ben with is the nickname for the Great Bell not the tower nor the clock as public known originally name is the Clock Tower, but it was renamed Elizabeth Tower in 2012 , you can see from the bridge also London Eye and house of parliament

Definitely don’t miss this, you have Westminster on one side, London eye the other and it’s absolutely beautiful. The bridge itself is so pretty and has a lovely view

A tourist hotspot because of its proximity to the Houses of Parliament, & the South Bank which is home to the London Eye, the London Aquarium & other attractions. If you are lucky with the weather, it’s a great place for photos.

One of the most famous bridges in London, you get a wonderful scenic view of Elizabeth Tower and the houses of Parliament. Usually a heavy flow of tourists here too.

I think this bridge is most popular in London after tower bridge. Offering you amazing views of London eye on one side and British Parliament and Big Ben on other side, There are many picture spots on the bridge, stunning photoes. The bridge on both sides have some souvenir shops and you can also find caramelized nuts street shop. Right next to Westminster bridge this has superbab connectivity.

Our favourite place in London. We got engaged by a certain lamp post 7years ago. They’re putting up nicer bollards for pedestrians, so the roads works are still going on at the moment. We will be back again.

Great place for taking pictures - nice scenery guaranteed on both sides of the bridge and facing both sides of Thames. Looks wonderful any time of the day, but more magical in the evening.

For me, one of the most iconic places in the city. The history, the views, the vibe. It is better to stroll across the bridge early in the morning or late at night. Weekends usually are extremely crowded.

Just a bit of info. At the end of Westminster Bridge there is a stall that sell souvenirs.. it's a great place to get your open top 24 hour hop on hop off bus. It's where the 2 routes cross the cost is Β£35 for the 24 Hours and they give you a thames boat cruise as well. It's well worth the money. And. Another tip use the underground for travelling. It's Β£7.40 for l a full day ..just use your phone or contact debit card opposite the picture.

A lovely bridge with amazing views of both sides of the river. We went around sunset and got some great pictures. All tourists should definitely take a walk over this bridge when visiting London. Unfortunately big Ben is still being repaired at the moment, so there's lots of scaffolding on the clock, otherwise the rest of the pictures look great.

Landmark location for Photography when someone visiting London. Not only the visitors, but also the Londoners. The view of London Eye, Parliament and Westminster Pier adjoining your face would be the fantastic one. Deserted due to Lockdown, still you get more space for the views.
