Good idea for touring London. You can opt to purchase a 24hr ticket which allows you to mostly cover all relevant spots in a day. And also included is a river cruise along the Thames. So overall its a good way of getting around the main attractions in London.

Worth every penny! Great to do this early in your trip beacuse you get to see all of London. Super easy to hop on and off. There is an app so you can follow where all the buss stops are and when the next bus is arriving. We bought the classic pass but should've purchased the package deal because we ended up buying a London Eye and Tower of London ticket once at those stops. Highly recommend both.

Enjoyed this bus tour- it had plenty of stops that were accessible and a map was provided which made it easy to use. The bus was not too full including the top deck which was nice. The bus route does cover the main tour spot however the audio guide does not go I'm depth at all. We were lucky to have a live tour guide on two of the busses we went on but the live guide does not go much in depth either. Overall I do recommend this tour bus at the same time I never tried another. I really had no issues with this company and would definitely recommend it.

Visited on the 30th of July and paid £105 for 3 adults and one child. We first went on the blue line which had very good sights. The bus driver kept stopping for ages in grotty areas which annoyed me, wouldn’t mind if there was something to look at. One bus stop on the red line outside Euston station was closed due to roadworks, if this service had a live app or a website with up to date information like most other services, it would of saved a lot of trauma. The map is useless and the bus stop at st. Pancras was a nightmare to find as it didn’t list the name of the road. Next time, I’ll do my homework, download an app and test it before I book. This is not the first time I’ve been on a tour bus.

The ride is nice and worthwhile especially if you want to both see and be learning about the British history. The staff are courteous and quite informed about the culture and history even though the interaction is minimal. The bus itself is clean and you are provided with earphone to learn about every area that you are passing through. I could only wish that they did actual stops for tourists to take photos like I have seen in other countries. That way you end up with memories of the tour (just something they could consider as many tourists always appreciate more if they have photos in the destinations that they toured 😌

Several routes to explore. The bus driver was very helpful with letting us know where to transfer. Covered and non covered, easy to see from seats up top. Nice, air conditioned downstairs if you need to cool down. The sound system was okay, it did sometimes cut off the narration if we were moving through an area a little quickly. Several languages to choose from. I liked the fact that the 24 hour ticket came with a boat tour and walking tour which were good for a week from date of purchase.

Our group went on a sightseeing tour on-board Big Bus Tours’ Hop-on, Hop-off bus system. The company offers three different packages: Classic, Premium, and Deluxe, all designed to be flexible to your schedule and at the pace you want. The Big Buses have open tops so we really enjoy unobstructed views of London’s many sights, attractions and landmarks. we can even hop on and hop off these buses as much as we like for the duration that our chosen package allows.

Good busses, headsets working in multiple languages, a lot of busses resulting in frequent departures from every bus stop. Good experience and worth the price.

Great tour. Great value. The recording was a bit off but otherwise it is an excellent experience! The Cruise was an added bonus which made the tour exceptional! A must add-on!

Jay was the best guide we have ever had. Who would have that a man from Minnesota would be such an excellent London tour guide. I hope you have the chance to experience Jay on the blue route. We have a ton of photos of the best locations in London!

The audio for the tour must have been set up with Geo points based on consistently slow moving traffic. On multiple occasions the audio would interrupt itself with the next stop when the buses were moving in clear traffic; however, most of the time we were merely listening to classical music Without any audio. This is my fourth time in London and my wife’s first, so this was very disappointing for her not getting all the audio of the locations we were passing. I have taken the hop on hop off tours in multiple cities before and it has been the best means of seeing the entire city. I highly recommend the hop on hop off platform when trying to see multiple landmarks in a new city, but I would not recommend taking this tour after the results we had. We paying £50 for two people, and being able to access the buses was very convenient.

It's amazing. I advise everyone who goes to London to try it, and download the application for them to know the map.. I used it in the morning and all day, and the second day I was in town. I used it for how many trips.

Using the tesco rewards I booked a bus tour with this company. One option is to do the whole route instead of hop on hop off. And what a delight to cover so much sight seeing in 2 hours. The family saw everything and hence this worked out such value for money. Our Host, Hannah was magnificent. Witty, informative. Perfect person for the job. I highly recommend this trip.

They do not appear to run every 30mins as stated in fact I waited over an hour at a time over two days in June and gave up. Unfortunately due to time constraints I wasn't able to use the bus tickets and when I asked for a refund I was refused. The £35 ticket came with a "free cruise" which wasn't free, on leaving the boat I was asked for money by the guide so the crew could go to the pub. So £70 (two tickets) out of pocket and no offer of a refund my advice is to stay well clear and use one of the other reputable operators.

Very good and definitely worth the money. You get to see all the major things while sitting. Make sure to choose a cloudy day bc it is very hot if you sit Uptop.

It's best quickest and most pocket friendly way to see the best of London, chose the option with the cruise. It was totally worth it and highly enjoyable.

Golden tours Hop on Ho of was-a disappointment. The places to see in London City throughout their tour are not the best places to see. For example, I’m not interested to see minorities like Arabian districts. We are interested more in history. The biggest problem was that many times it happened when we were going around a certain historical site, the automatic tour guide switch between places before even finishing the first part, it already has started the guidance about the next site.

It's not the best, but it is very practical for the tourist who needs to rest his/her feet. If you spent several days/weeks, even better because the ticket is valid for 12 months. Enjoy London by bus!

Good to explore city good value for the price

We boarded this bus to take one last tour of the city before saying goodbye to London. We had already used a similar service but from other companies and we immediately noticed the difference. The voice guidance is not synchronized with the stops, the explanations are always interrupted making them useless and irritating. The waiting times at the stops are exhausting. Finally, at one stop an employee greeted us by saying "Italian mafiosi!" smiling of course, but what is there to smile about on such a topic? Still the stereotype Italy mafia pizza mandolin mum? And even more serious is that the attendant appeared to be Italian!

The audio guide is disappointing, it explains absolutely nothing, everything is classical music, tremendous theft

My kids enjoyed it a lot. The weather was hot that day.. but after 3pm it was really nice. It's best to sit on the top open space. We save quite a lot. You should have time to see everything. We had a short while so only did the old city tour. There was another route included in the trip with newer attractions/building to see. Also the boat cruise was also included in the ticket. Again We didn't have time to do it. But should be good.

We were practically empty, which was great, the other buses were full, and when we were behind the "other bus" we witnessed a fight on board, probably due to it being so crowded. They even comped me my 2nd day free because I had elderly people with me. These guys are the best!

A beautiful and lovely experience. Hop On Hop Off experience was a wonderful one. An interesting tour of the city of London using the big bus. Places visited were Westminster Pier, the Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, etc. A lovely ride.

Joe, our guide, was just phenomenal. I have done a few of these tours and I can honestly say that this was by far the best, ever! Joe was entertaining, interesting and made the tour perfect!

A great way to see all the major tourist attractions in London in one day. Staff was great. Book online however for a much cheaper rate. 💷 13-15 GBP more on the street than booking online.

Likely won't be using Golden Tours "Blue Buses" in London on any future visits. When I was here in 2019 it seemed locations for hop-on-hop-off were more clearly marked. We waited over an hour at one of the stops identified on their map for Westminster Abbey, but the bus never came to that pickup point. There were also not as many busses. We did get an opportunity to do a live tour with a guide on the bus that was fantastic (older gent with cheeky remarks).

Hop on… Hop Off LONDON bus tour £62 for 24 hours, for 2 people. You get ear phones too. It was fab!

First visit to London, wasted the first 2 hours waiting on a bus that never arrived. £56 on tickets for me and my daughter that proved completely useless!!!

Awful, Bus didn't arrive when were told it would. So never used the ticket. Been trying to get a refund ever since and absolutely no reply from customer service. Even after multiple emails.

This is the best way to see London and any other city they have hop on hop off busses. You see all the main sites and can decide which you want to get off and see closer or explore later. We'll worth doing on day one.

The only good thing was:the live commentary. Otherwise avoid it, they wasted almost an hour, the stop where we were waiting was cancelled with no information on their website and when I called their number, first time they said next bus will reach in 10mims, after waiting for 20 mins I called them again and this time they said that route is cancelled, there were other ppl waiting too. Bad customer service ruined the day out.

Good experience to see London attractions in a small amount of time

Once we learned how to recognise the bus stops it was great , easy to use , fab commentary , bit pricey but would buy again for ease and enjoyed the tours

Thoroughly enjoyed our ride on the bus. Friendly drivers, free ear-buds to listen to the recorded guide. The guide was informative and the route was good (we did the main route out of three). We did pass some places, that weren't described, that we would have liked to have known about, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

The bus simply passes some stops. Far too few buses compared to other companies, which causes long waiting times…
