We had an amazing time thanks to Gavin's knowledge, great sense of humour, positively and all round being a wonderful guide and lovely man. My 16 and 13 year olds said Gavin is the best we definitely need to do this next year but have to have Gavin again. My husband and I agree!! He went out of his way to take us to the Churchill Arms, when we arrived the lights were off so he went in the pub and asked them if they could turn them on. They explained its on a timer so he drove us to see other lights then got us back for switch on time! 😊 We stopped for pictures along the way and to walk around various streets. Our family had the best time with Gary on our London Taxi Tour taking in all the magical Christmas lights in London. He knew all the best places to go and we even stopped for photos and a Christmas market. We stayed nice and cozy warm in the taxi while taking in all the sights. Highly recommend this tour!!

Excellent and proper tour of London. Adam is an excellent taxi driver. We enjoyed the royal tour and felt extremely safe with his driving. Communication was also easy and even with a change in time Cheryl made sure our pick up and drop off were correct. Absolutely recommend VLTT.

We arrived at Heathrow a bit late and our tour guide (Alan) was very accommodating. He waited to start the tour about 30 mins later than agreed upon. The tour was FANTASTIC - there is no way we would have seen all the sites in 3 hours on our own! Seeing London at night was truly a highlight of our trip!

We booked a Christmas Lights tour of London with Visit London Taxi Tours for family who were visiting the city. We had a wonderful evening, the views were spectacular and our guide Andrew was very knowledgable and friendly, while also giving us time to chat amongst ourselves in the back. The tour was fun as you can bring your own snacks and drinks, and it felt COVID safe as the front of the cab is sealed off from the back. We'd thoroughly recommend for anyone visiting London, or even locals who are looking for a bit of a different take on the city! :) We also received excellent service from Cheryl with the booking process, she even went above and beyond to help us get everything sorted during their team Christmas lunch!

My group and I really enjoyed our tour of London. We ordered 2 cars to accommodate 10 people. Our guides Adam & Gary were terrific! They kept the entire group together and were kind, courteous and informative!

Our tour guide Lee is just phenomenal! He showed us places in London that we might never have had the chance to see! Lee took us to iconic areas from all sorts of different viewpoints, so that we could see London from all angles! I took these (and so many more) pictures using an old cell phone and they turned out so well, since he was able to get us so close! He was incredibly knowledgeable! He can focus on your interests - royalty, history, geography, food, literature, famous people in general, famous actors or musicians, and more! He was literally the absolute best tour guide that we have EVER had in our 60+ years!!! This is a "DO NOT MISS" tour!!

We had Lee as our driver and he was amazing and very hospitable. His knowledge of London’s history was second to none! Very impressive. He always made sure we were comfortable, checked if we needed toilet breaks and even stopped for us when we wanted a Gregg’s Sausage roll. This experience was absolutely amazing! We had a layover for one night in London on my husband's birthday and wanted to make the most of it. Alan was THE BEST your guide, hands down. He was so knowledge and also offered to take our pictures at numerous stops. The city looked stunning at night and we didn't have to walk far in the chilly weather. The communication was great, and Alan was even able to accommodate picking us up a bit early as our prior plans wrapped sooner than anticipated. His taxi has a large glass window in the roof and he even has beautiful lights strung up inside to create a festive atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this tour and would like to book it again during the day if we ever get to come back to London. This is a great value for the cost and has left us with a wonderful experience for my husband's birthday.

We had a wonderful whirlwind tour with Gavin. So much fun in so little time. We had a five hour layover tour. Gavin picked us up at the airport. Drove us into London and probably stopped at 30 places. He gave us the history and opportunities for pictures. We got out of the car and walked up to many sites. He granted a special request for Fish and Chips. He brought us to a fantastic vintage style neighborhood place near where he grew up and we picked up a delicious meal. At the end of our evening, he brought us directly to our hotel and waited to be sure we were able to check in. It was an excellent experience with a fantastic tour guide.

Lee was amazing!! He took us on last minute because we made a mistake in timing when booking, he showed up as fast as possible. He was very informative, knowledgeable, and kind! Hi, we did a 4 hour tour of London by taxi with visitlondontaxitours. There are a lot of beautiful tours on offer and we have made a tour completely adapted to us. It was a mix of the classic London Tour and the Instagram Tour. The arrangements in advance by mail with Cheryl were fantastic. She responded promptly to all questions. We only had a very tight time window in London because we had to rely on a cruise ship (Southampton). The whole tour was awesome. Our driver Adam was amazing, very accommodating and just wonderful. We couldn't have gotten a better one. He drove us to all the destinations we wanted, informed us about London and found even better alternatives to some sights that would have been far away. We have been to Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Peggy Porschen, Piccadilly Circus and much more... This tour is simply unique and I have already recommended it to people. Had an absolutely lovely evening on the Christmas tour of the London lights. Our tour guide Stephen was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were provided with mince pies and prosecco which was a lovely touch to our tour. Stephen was very accommodating and stopped whenever we wanted a break, to take photos or just stretch our legs. He also took some group photos for us. Would definitely book again!

We were recently in London for a layover on our way to Barcelona. As my children had never been there I wanted to show them the town, but I was worried about getting back and forth to the airport in time for out connecting flight. This was the perfect solution. I can't rave enough about this tour. It was amazing. Before we even arrived Cheryl answered all my questions promptly and courteously. Sam, our guide, greeted us at the airport and, even though there was a crazy storm, he brought us to all the sites we wanted to see and gave us such interesting information he even managed to keep my teens engaged after a red eye flight. It was such a fabulous way to begin our vacation. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

We booked a private Christmas lights taxi tour in central London on the companies website which was so straight forward and easy to use! I very soon after received an email from Cheryl thanking us for our booking and give us extra information about the tour such as our taxi drivers name which was really helpful. Our taxi driver phoned me up a few hours before the tour just to confirm the time of the tour and where we would be picked up. He also provided information of where we would go and asked if there were any other sights in London we would like to visit as he would be more than happy to accommodate. Our taxi driver Steve was such a brilliant host, he made the experience so enjoyable with his knowledge and stories! He even had Prosecco and mince pies for us which was such a lovely touch. Overall the experience was brilliant and I would highly recommend this tour, worth every penny as well!

On the tail end of our honeymoon we ended up with a nights layover in London and had the pleasure of a tour with Alan. We had a further drop off point, a later start time, but still easily coordinated through their admin team to quickly book an amazing experience. Insightful, conscientious and professional. Alan had the polish of a seasoned London vet and provided some of the most beautiful sights in London to us, making every effort to fit our directions. “No tour is ever exactly the same”. You want professionals who provide a service at a high level of quality, but you also need to have their flexibility for above and beyond returns. They executed above expectation in all aspects of need. We highly recommend them.

What a wonderful way to see London! London Taxi Tours, with our guide Alan Taylor was terrific. Alan is an experienced Black Cab driver and not only is well-versed in the many historical highlights of London, but can also give you the totally unique experience of seeing all the areas that tourists don’t often visit. His knowledge and ability to traverse London traffic made our time with him fly by as we traveled through all the suburbs, parks, past monuments and glorious architectural wonders. We saw so many places that bus tours never see, and could ask questions and learn about all the wonders we were seeing. Because we have some difficulty walking for any distance, we would have missed so much, if not for Alan. It was fantastic to have someone pick us up and take us back to our hotel rather than having to find our way to a tour start and get back on our own. He was able to escort us to the perfect spots to try some of the local cuisine and experience the “real” London flavor. We were fortunate to take 3 of the offered tours, and each one was unique. Being able to see London at night was breathtaking, a full daytime tour of all the historical areas gave us a full overview of all the famed London sights, and the “Secrets of London” tour took us past homes of great figures of not only history, but literature, music, and art. If you want to truly experience London and only have a few days, you would love this service! We left feeling like we had made a friend as well as having a wonderful time in London!

Had an amazing tour with Sam directly from the airport. There’s no better way IMO to hit the highlights of London in a few hours. Service was excellent. Took us to places we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Tons of neat historical information. Took amazing family photos at the sites we stopped at. Exceeded my expectations. So happy we booked this!

The taxi tour with Lee was one of the best tours my brother and I have been on. Since it was just the two of us, the tour was catered to our interests. He would extend our time spent at certain stops if we showed extra interests and stop at any point of the tour for photos or bathroom breaks. Alongside the history of London and its buildings, Lee gave lots of suggestions for shopping, restaurants, and museums. He recommended a coffee shop near our drop off in Borough Market which was delicious! The tour was amazing and I definitely do it my next visit.

We visited London for a whirlwind three days and chose to hire a pre-arranged taxi to maximize our site seeing time. Initial communication with Visit London Taxi Tours was with Cheryl and from the first email to the last of many, she was wonderful! She was patient with my many questions and itinerary changes for weeks before our arrival, even before I had committed and made a deposit. We scheduled a tour by night for our first evening in London and it was wonderful. Got an overview of the main sites and several wonderful family picture opportunities at sunset. We also had a transfer to the Harry Potter Studios from city centre and then arranged last day, a pick up from hotel to Windsor Castle tour (he waited with our luggage) followed by a quick trip through Winchester which was lovely ending up dropped off at our Southampton cruise port. We had two drivers, Yiannis and Andrew, and they were both wonderful. They went out of their way providing interesting information along the way, helping with family photo's, and getting us where we needed to be in a timely manner. We would never have been able to see all we did in the time we had but for arranging the tour and transportation! The taxi itself was lovely as well, with a clear glass top and it even fit six of us and luggage comfortably. Very pleased with the ease dealing with this company from scheduling to meet ups and happy we decided to pre-arrange and go for the night tour. Thank you for helping make it a wonderful visit!

Well, I cannot emphasize enough how thrilled we were with all three of these tours, as well as the time and attention that Cheryl in the office gave to our itinerary and certain special needs we had. All three of our tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, funny, and all around great people. Really, it felt like we were being shown around the city by good old friends who happen to be history buffs and experts on London! We had an amazing taxi tour with our guide Andrew. The cab was spacious, comfortable and spotless. Andrew was a wealth of knowledge on the history of England and the particulars of the sites we viewed. He was also very personable and a delight to spend three hours with. I highly recommend this tour as a must do when in London. Also wanted to mention that Cheryl worked with my daughter on all the arrangements and was spot on.
