Initially I was going for 3 stars, because it's quite chaotic, and felt a bit like it was everyone's first day. No one really knew what they were doing. I've added an extra star, because the staff are lovely, and there was a better table available and they allowed us to move, and I asked for more sandwiches and they brought them. With a little bit of polishing (figuratively and literally on the cutlery) this would be a 5 star experience. The route shows all the main sites on the river, and they have a guide giving you a great amount of detail.

A great three hour cruise on the Thames, very relaxing way to see the sights. Great facilities on board including a bar. We caught the last cruise of the day so had a daytime and nighttime view so double the value. Interesting commentary on board.

We had a enjoyable experience with family in the upper deck. We took a ride from Westminster Pier to Tower Pier and returned. The staffs are very friendly and nice. The Guy who gave a lively commentary about the history of River Thames and the buildings around. We enjoyed his entertaining speech. Don't miss the chance if you are near River Thames.

Great experience, a relaxing time checking out the sights from the water. Fun commentary and big boats with a large outside area to maximize the view. We got a great deal online so check out a few sites for any promotions.

Great tour with this cruise company. Bought tickets at the ticket booth there, the cruise started from Tower Pier and it took us to Westminster area and London Eye along the river Thames. The weather was nice so we sat at the open deck which made the cruise so much better. The tour guide was funny and entertaining. Great and easy way to see some of London's landmarks. Highly recommend this cruise...

This experience was lovely even though it was rubbish weather we sat inside the boat and got to see the lovely views. It was only a 40 minute ride to Westminster to go to Mayfair shopping. The staff were lovely on the boat and before you got on the boat. We were unsure on where to go as there was different boats to go on to different places so they explained to us the best options. We also got to hop on and off 24hr tickets so we could go on as many times as we wanted to go on all the boats available. We would definitely recommend getting this ticket. They also boarded at the exact time we was meant to.

I bought the tickets online for city cruises 24th hop on hop off. A good value for family. We get on in London eye pier then all the way to Greenwich then back to Westminster pier. You will have a total different view from boat of the city. Very comfortable in the sunny day. The narrator on the boat was so funny, making your journey more enjoyable.

Great evening definitely recommend. Given as a Virgin experience gift, canapés and champagne but bar availability all trip. Music/Singer was awesome and eventually quite a few dancing which was great. Almost two hours but wished it had been a little bit longer as was having good time. Thank you

Well worth a river cruise during your time in London. You can board the boat at a number of points along the river including Westminster, Tower of London and Greenwich. Plenty to see and worth doing even in bad weather.

Enjoyed the afternoon team here. Very relaxed boat tour with explanations of the city. Food is rich. You should skip lunch beforehand ;)

Recommend the tour, commentary was very nice! Don't recommend the lunch that much as the food was a bit bland.

Very nice sightseeing tour with this cruise company. We left from Tower Pier and saw Westminster and London Eye. It cost about £12 I think. The tour lasted 30 minutes. We went to the open deck and enjoyed the tour guide. He was funny and entertaining with his quick humour. Great way to see some London hotspots! We bought our tickets at the ticket booth on-site. It was easily done. But before we bought them we were thinking about going on the standard hop on hop off boats that you can use your Oyster card on. Thankfully we decided on this one. It was worth the extra money.

Just by chance we thought let's do a boat ride and there was one to Westminster boarding in 5 min. Lady at counter sorted out tickets quickly was about £14 one way each. We boarded the boat which was full and then they took us by the sights of London bridge, all the way to Westminster and giving a great commentary of the sights and made it super fun. Well worth it. The crew staff were super friendly.

Nice little cruise on the Thames. The guide explains what we see with amusing humor. Enjoyable time on a double-decker boat!

Absolutely appalling experience, we purchased tickets in advanced. Upon arriving on the day we were told that the first boat we needed was cancelled and that we’d have to wait. Bear in mind that we have a meeting and we were dependent on that first boat We went up to the tickets desk to ask what can be done and since the purchasing of the tickets was made 3 days ago, they couldn’t do a refund! Avoid this agent at all costs, if you don’t want your plans cancelled!!! End of the story, we were late!

The evening cruise is a dream, champagne and appetizers are included in the price, the trip lasts two hours as stated, the staff on board is super friendly and the live music was wonderful.

Great first experience with my family. Affordable tickets, friendly staff, food and drink options available, toilets available, wheelchair friendly, indoor and outdoor spots, staff with great knowledge of London and giving different tips. 100% recommended.

Really well organised and efficient trip along the River Thames. A good lunch served promptly and tasty considering the limitations of serving large numbers on a boat. Views from the river of London are spectacular. Recommended.

For me, it was a great choice! I was going solo and chose the 2 hour trip, had a great time with nice music, small snacks and wine. Recommending buying ticket upfront and choosing a tour time when it's dark outside and you can see the city with lights

The boat trip on the Thames was very pleasant, relaxing after a day of sightseeing on foot. The Tea Tour will remain a great memory of our trip, we tasted the specialties of this country and very good tea. The service is well done. A member of the crew gives explanations about the city during the ride, it’s very good. I recommend ! (Reserve your tickets in advance)

This was one of the worst experiences for a river sightseeing cruise we ever had. Long waiting time, boats do not stick to the schedule, live commentary in very bad accent, dirty seats, rubbish all over the floor. We recommend not to book this as it is absolutely not worth the money.

  • 4/5 Amy P. 7 months ago on Google
Make sure you book 3-4 weeks in advance. I have been for a lunch on the cruise. Nice plate of food, good view.

It was a great experience and we took family ticket. It was really worth the money as we can hop on n off for 24hrs as needed. We liked the cruise very much!

We went for an afternoon tea tour and it was great. Excellent service and very accommodating with the baby and seating. Nice views from the river with a different perspective of the sites .. only minor issue was it was hard to hear what the guide was saying about each site.

Booked an afternoon tea here, Great customer service while booking and great communication throughout with my emails. We had the afternoon tea inside with good views near the window and went outside to see the beautiful scenery. The Weather was rubbish but they made up for it, with the amazing and friendly service they gave us!! ♥️ and we even got a surprise cake for my mums birthday! Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Have to get there early if you want a seat at the edge. Entertaining crew giving a commentary during the journey. Boat was clean. Efficient boarding processing. Better than a bus!

I thoroughly enjoy this trip. Omg! It was a combination of history with stand up comedy, I'm still laughing about some jokes 🤣. We were lucky with the weather, it was sunny and warm, and we were outside, but in case is not, there is plenty of place downstairs. The boat was clean, it has toilets, a nice bar and they serve some drinks, snacks, sandwiches, etc. The crew was very friendly, welcoming, nice and fun. If you want to get tickets you can buy them in the entrance of the boat in the River Thames, or go to their website, or you can even get a nice deal in websites like groupon. Whenever you want to buy your tickets, don't miss the opportunity to spend a wonderful trip along The Thames. If I could I would've spent the whole day hoping on and off. Love it!. P.s. bring with you some change to tip the nice guides who do the tour. They really deserve it. 🙏💯👏

Nice drive! Lovely guy with some infos for London. He told us he isnt a tourguide, but was the best i ever experienced .. so easy to understand with a little funny word after every sentence! 100% recommended

Very entertaining commentary from the guys, they give you the choice of their information or the tape, go with them!!! They even were informed about the raising of tower bridge and organised it so we could photograph and film the raising. So top marks and good value for money.

The Food Was To Die For. Staff were friendly. And the views were stunning. Great Value for money! The Tour Guide ….. wasn’t expecting any commentary …. How ever this made a good experience great ! Just my sense of humour and so so funny ! Didn’t get his name but get him on the stage. Good knowledge too but very very funny! Will definitely be back, hope he is on the boat next time. Just Great

About 45 minutes to an hour cruise. The guide was great who gave full information about the monuments and other iconic areas. The cruise 🛳 seats and table are well designed, and you can see from anywhere. There is also an upper open area and seats . The cafe is good , offer nice snacks and a reasonable price 👌

This was an enjoyable night out, with family and friends. Light hearted entertainment as you start to unravel clues being presented by selected passengers and on crew cast members. ~ Murder Mystery Tour Viewing the Thames at night is beautiful with the architectural landscape.

Absolutely loved on the top sight seeing cruise on a fantastic day. It was a guided one way cruise from London tower pier to Westminister and its a better than return. Better to buy a ticket in bundle up with some other attractions( we had a bundle with bigbus). Its always better to go in a guided tour as the guides let you know about the facts in interesting way. The captain was amazing in that case. The cruise have toilets, coffe and drinks bar as well.

Fantastic cruise up n down the Thames, I recommend an evening cruise, mite be abit chilly ,but well worth it, all the buildings n bridges light up. There was a bar n snacks on board, everything from Beers to Moet Champagne . Cruise took approximately 2hrs, took loads of lovely pictures. Very Very Well done Highly recommended 👌 👍.

A great river cruise along the Thames, we had a hop on hop off ticket. The view's were amazing. The commentary from Jack, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The bar staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were also very clean

Reserved in advance, food was ok but the macarons and cake didn't taste nice, good views from window seat. Staff were not attentive, they seem to be more focused on the middle seats. I asked a staff for tap water which never turned up on my table. Would I recommend it, yes I would for views 100% everything else nope.

Fantastic experience for all ages. We got the perfect weather for it being a sunny 28 degrees Celsius and not a cloud in the sky. Booked the lunch cruise and sightseeing tour off woucher. Was a little difficult to book through them but not sure if it's the same elsewhere. Boarding was very easy and we departed swiftly, shortly after we were served our drinks (which you have to pay for) and not long after our food. The food was chicken with mushroom sauce with a potato dish and mixed vegetables, for dessert there was a chocolate mouse with a fruit glaze. Could honestly eat that every day if it wouldn't harden my arteries beyond saving. After eating you can go upstairs and enjoy the cruise. From the docks up Parliament, and down to Canary Wharf and back. Would recommend this trip for birthdays, anniversaries, and any other special occasion.

This one star is for Yasmin who served us at the start. She was a star and we thank her for her prompt and polite service. Everything else- !!! Please avoid if you are Chinese, unless you want to be called nothing but your ethnicity on the cruise. Everything else was suboptimal, very old boat and failed-to-impress food (at least for the price) unfriendly, borderline racist male crew member. Yasmine who showed us our table was very professional, but they changed their serving areas at a random point during our cruise. This is when this male crew member started attending the areas we were in. He ignored our table most of the time (even though he was serving and chatting with all the other table)- which was fine and I literally preferred him that way. When he finally decided to come to us, the first question he asked in return for a new pot of tea is “where are you from” and once he knew my mom and I are from China, he kept mocking us saying “Xiexie” in a weird tone and then at the end when they finished their service he literally addressed us saying “Chinese did you have our menu”. I seriously don’t know what to say and what levels of service this was supposed to be, or why on earth he thought this was necessary- we were only there for a nice afternoon tea and some family time to spend together. I will definitely not return again, not unless I want to ruin my day on the infamous River Thames
