This place is awesome! It's like a massive and free co working space with great coffee. It's my new preferred meeting place in London. Food however is very limited - just cakes - but plenty of places around to grab something.

Don't mind this place...nice atrium :P But today I went in with a £10 voucher card for the cafe I'd been gifted (which I had just removed from the sealed packaging they issue it in), and ordered a baguette and they were toasting it for me. Then the voucher card didn't work. The manager came over and repeatedly told me while he remembers issuing a load of the vouchers cards to my company, he never issued a voucher card with that specific number on the back. He kept putting the ball in my court, even though I had merely come to his store with a voucher for his store that his store had issued. Eventually I demanded he come up with a solution instead of implying I had done something wrong. Again he insisted he never issued a voucher with that number. Meanwhile the toasted baguette was ready and another guy brought it over. At last I took some initiative (someone had to) and asked..."so may I have this baguette?" he said "well you will have to pay for it". At that point I simply said "OK" and walked off, at a loss for what to do. So if they don't want to learn customer service, I guess they need to sort out how their voucher cards are issued, and ensure no further ones go out with zero quid on them. Cos that coupled with their service leads to some pretty poor experiences for customers...

Love the coffee here! And, the staff are always amazing and lovely to speak to in the mornings, especially Colette! Great start to the day

Great coffee and pastries, soft- and hard drinks in office building foyer open to the public. Prices are not for the faint of heart, but quality of produce is great and service is outstanding - thanks Colette!

Great place to have coffee and work. The Grind didn't have any food, as they just reopened for 2022.

Good coffee in the mornings and danged good cocktails in the evenings. They roast their own and have both talented baristas and bartenders who put a lot of effort in. So kudos to them. Because it's hidden away inside the ground floor of the the White Chapel Building (the one with the big white letters, open to public) it's normally quiet and relaxed. Staff are super friendly and always up for a chat. A wide array of non-dairy milk is carried along with some rich and easily overlooked cakes and snacks. They have an app for advance ordering and a reasonable loyalty scheme. At the moment, they're serving £5 cocktails on Thursdays and Fridays, which is actually incredible value because they're mixed and flavoured really well and not light on the liquor either.

Great coffee, staff and service. Vinny always puts a smile on my face when I'm having a bad day. Love the cocktails too!!!

Good coffee outlet in the large airy atrium of The White Chapel Building. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Freindly service and a good selection of teas and coffees plus a full bar. A popular destination for meetings. Recommended.

A coffee bar situated in a nice and stylish atrium, with an adjoining open space in the rear. Great coffee, great cocktails, that come with excellent service. Unsurprising as the baristas here are excellent and approachable.

A hidden gem for great coffee in Whitechapel. Nice and quiet and the coffee quality is up there with some of the best I’ve had in London

Visited this morning. Ordered a long black, which has to rate in my top 3 of *worst* coffees I've ever had the misfortune to drink. It was so weak and gross that after a couple of sips, I threw it down the sink!

Always a sea of calm in a busy workspace. Delightful coffee and pastries served with a smile. Colette in particular is a sunny personality when one is in need of a mid-morning pick-me-up.

Amazing location, atmosphere, and service. Jack was lovely and provided some upstanding service and the best coffee (and coffee art) I've had in a while. Strongly recommend.

Always great coffee, a great environment to enjoy it in (an island of calm in Aldgate…), with the usual friendly service from the Grind teams over the years I’ve been a regular, especially Colette on the current team 👍. Keep up the good work!
