The tea was awful. Overpriced and in cheap paper cups. There is comfortable enough seating but this tea is just the worst. Just looking at it is making me weep. This is such a let down after seeing this great museum. I can't bring myself to drink anymore. Urgh. Edit: Just finished the tea. Decided to remove one star from the review.

Lovely little place in one of the best museums in town if you are an omnivore. However I asked for a vegan cake and got something with egg in it and when I complained I literally just got a shrug back. The quality of the coffee varies a lot depending on who makes it so if you are as picky with your coffee as me stick to tea.

The cafe is located on the lower ground to the right from the main entrance. The fare is limited but we'll cooked and presented by a helpful and friendly staff. I had a chicken burger and chips for £10.50, very slightly dry but nicely broiled.

A nice place to stop and rest when you are browsing with your elderly father. The menu was limited by the door itself was tasty and the service friendly and the coffee was amazing.

A nice place to stop and chill inside the IWM. When you need to take a rest from all the gallery browsing. Good food and they sell alcohol as well as coffee and soft drinks. Free wifi and access to the park when the weather is good. Reopening 01.08.2020. This is just a small update. The museum is now open, but because of the virus I'm afraid food is off the menu.

The queue of self-catering recalled the time in the militry I think😂and the size of dish is very big. The coffee and food is normal but it is still a good place to enjoy more time beside the war.😉

Cashless! Avoid! Came here with my family and was told I could not purchase any food or drink. I have no bank card as it is being replaced. No management. Shameful

I am sorry to say that burgers dont look anything like the website shows. We got cold , clearly reheated french fries , reheated burgers , not well done and barely warm!! Suspicious!!! I dont give reviews often but this expeience was just unpmeasant with the amout of money charged on top!!! And that they fogot an adult burger in the order. McDonald's would be better . Sad. Will never eat here again.

Good coffee but the childrens menu is lacking. 6.50 for a hamburger without any sides or cheese, basically a £2 McDonald's burger. Also, the menus in screens change screens every 10 seconds. Absurd and annoying.

Not great for a museum cafe. There is very limited menu for hot food and it’s quite pricey for the quality. The pizza was hard and was very thin. It was more like a tomato sauce pizza than a a cheese pizza as there was one small circle of cheese on each slice. I’m not sure how good the salads as we didn’t have one so they might have been nice. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The museum is very good though.

Boys had pizzas which were tasty. My wife had a mozzarella, pesto, basil and tomato panini but they couldn't toast it, which was really disappointing and meant it was really dry. I had a chicken, bacon and caramelised onion foccacia. Again, quite dry and disappointing, particularly given the price. Burgers looked great and we both wish we had them.

Prices are a bit high BUT the capuccino was truly excellent. Easy top 3 best coffee I ever had.

Variety of fresh and delicious hot and cold food. Very reasonably priced. Friendly service. Great spot for lunch! 👍🏻

Great exhibition on Britain's involvement in the First World War and the life and experiences of soldiers in that conflict. Assorted exhibits other conflicts since then with impressive artefacts and concise write-ups on them. Top floor has an exhibit dedicated to the recipients of the Victorian Cross for gallantry. My favourite museum in London so far. The Great War main exhibit is well curated and has a logical linear flow. Newly refurbished and reopened in 2014.
