Went to see Glass Onion.... Mondays are relatively quiet, and not all that busy. Screen 2 is of medium size, seating very comfortable, and is also wheelchair friendly. As a member you get access to the quirky members bar and money off perks on food and drink. Views from the upper level terrace and members bar are pretty impressive.

Expansive but a decent cinema in central that’s changed hands a huge amount of times! I remember coming here as a kid even 😂 think I saw the second ace Ventura film here. The bar/restaurant area is lovely and there’s great views, but it gets very busy and the queues can be long! Seats are comfortable and they have some lesser known films on show.

Officially my favourite cinema! The right size of screen with the right kind of people. I loved the members bar and the good conversations after. Love love 💜

Lovely cinema, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus. A bright and airy café on the ground floor and a very attractive bar upstairs. Given the location, food and drink prices were very reasonable. Came here to watch the screening of Prima Facie, which was stunning! Comfortable sofas at the back and air conditioned. Overall a great experience.

A well kept secret in Piccadilly Circus. Never even knew this place existed until I found one of the Indian film festival movies showcased here. It's one of the most beautiful and well kept cinemas in London, with lots of interior gems and most importantly the screens have got comfortable seating. They show a range of the latest movies and some classics, so no reason not to visit.

Not used the cinema but the cafe is lovely, food varied and reasonably priced for London

Beautiful cinema to get away from the hustle and bustle of central London. It was quiet when we went on a Saturday afternoon to watch Minions. They have cute sofa seats and a members bar too!

Such a cool little place. Popped in for a snack as we'd had a heavier lunch and it was such a quirky place to stop in. Felt like being transported back to a different time period but not in an overt way. Bit like a casual canteen setting. Perfect for a quite bite with friends or even a date. Food was really quite tasty prices not too bad either.

Great cafe at the bottom of the cinema! Also Picture House restaurant at the top, really nice place! Old vintage cinema style with comfy seats, cinema style and lights! You can eat some really nice sandwiches and sweet biscuits, cakes and drink something! And also watch a movie on the cinema! Really close to Piccadilly is a great place to allow kids and be relax!

Fantastic, luxury and beautifully designed and lit cinema which I only just discovered! Their groundfloor bar and restaurant area is so warm and inviting with a fantastic selection of delicious snacks and drinks and complete with super friendly staff. If you want a real VIP experience when you're going to see a film then I can highly recommend Picturehouse Central and it's so conveniently located just 30 seconds walk from Piccadilly Circus. 10/10 Highly recommended

Lovely cinema in the heart of Picadilly. The entrance is really nice with the lights hanging in the main foyer being pretty spectacular. There are really nice bars on a number of floors. Prices are expensive but probably no more than the rest of places in the area. The staff were very welcoming and wonderfully efficient. The screen that we were in (Screen 3) was pretty small but very good. Seats at the back were comfy and have lots of legroom. The popcorn was great as well! Thus is a great cinema with lots of history....we will be back :-)

This is a HUGE theater with a couple of cafes a bar and a member's bar. They've kept the historical integrity of the building but have put in moder amenities such as scalators. Staff were very kind and friendly

Best cinema in London. Great array of vintage, art house and indie films showing, in addition to the usual blockbusters. The member’s bar (for picturehouse central members) has a great cosy secret rooftop bar too

Enjoy coming here as a member for food, films and chilly out in the nooks and crannies either with a drink to socialise or reading a book on the roof terrace. Beautiful layouts and love the large couches. Food is tasty, I’ve tried quite a few dishes, love the pork bites but can’t find the photo. Also have good selection of wine and beers! Snacks can be pricy for film.

Been here to watch movies a couple of times, but also attended the Evening Standard’s Stories Festival here too. Great event space with awesome acoustics. The bar is nice too, a great space to chill before the event starts - not too loud or crowded.

What a lovely place in the midst of many commercial distractions. The cinema is a blessing in the area, and offers up some great choices all the time. The cafe is very welcome, large spacious, with veggie and gluten free options for eating too. Plenty of light, quiet and a world away from the noise outside!

I love my Picturehouse Central membership. Right in the heart of Central London, this flagship Picturehouse features a downstairs café, a first floor restaurant and bar, and a second floor members-only bar in addition to seven screens. It’s a great place to hang out, have a coffee and get some work done before seeing a film with mates (or solo), and even better for using the member discount for cheap pints after work. Member perks also allow up to 3 guests, so out-of-towners love it too. I especially appreciate that the Picturehouse puts on a diverse variety of films — from new releases to art-house classics. This specific location also often hosts big-name directors and actors for screenings, which is an added bonus. The Picturehouse Central will forever be my Central London go-to cinema.

The best cinema ever. I've been a member now for a few years, and it ticks all the boxes: excellent film choice (both old and new), good discounts and cheap coffees in the Cafe, cosy interiors especially Member's Bar, efficient customer services. So happy my partner found it and gave me membership as a gift. Recommend to all those who love films and good atmosphere.

What an amazing hidden gem. Charming and comfortable with all features of a building that was once one of many in the west end. Fabulous place to see and film, coffee or a bite to eat

A really nice building with excellent cinema tech at the very central of London! The seats are also very comfortable and it’s great to have a cafe and a restaurant in the same building.

Reliable customer care in-person and via telephone, staff resolved my booking issue and the manager was really helpful, much better service than competitors. In terms of the cinema, the adverts were deafening in volume, but thankfully the volume subsided when the film began. Best view from seat J10 in Screen 2, was the perfect distance, more leg-room than other rows, and neatly tucked away from the speakers. We all thoroughly enjoyed watching The Holdovers, a nice film to experience at the pictures, very rare to encounter that classic style of filmmaking and cinematic realism, thought the screenplay was uniquely brilliant as well. In this respect, it made for an altogether pleasant visit, and we look forward to coming back soon.

Good cinema but lousy website ; difficult to book online plus 1.40 pounds fee to book

Best multiscreen cinema in the West End. The cafe is one of the most reasonably-priced in Central London, too.

The staff were nice and the decor was pretty. But the actual cinema experience was very poor. Our screen (7) had quiet and muddy sound, and such poor soundproofing that you could hear the film from the next screen over during quiet moments. The seats were not on nearly enough of a slope, so the bottom of the screen was blocked by the heads of the people in front of me, which was especially frustrating when some parts were subtitled and I couldn't see the subtitles! The film started late, and yet people were still being allowed into the screen well after it started, so there were people walking in front of the screen and loudly arguing over whose seats were whose well into the first act. I also noticed that just before the movie, they ran a promotion that a regular popcorn + a drink + a snack was £11, but they had just charged me £13 for exactly that? And of course, by that point the film was about to start so it was too late to go back. Also when queueing to buy food, you can't see the far tills from the front of the queue, so staff were having to scream down the line for people to come forward. After the film, we thought we'd check out the sit-down food. But the bar upstairs had no menu, and the staff pointed us to a sign saying that we should go downstairs for food. Then when we went downstairs, it was closed off with a sign saying to go upstairs for food. I would not come back here.

Great cinema. A peaceful oasis away from the Piccadilly and Soho madness outside The Trocadero. The members bar and roof terrace are worth the membership fee alone.

Cinema is one thing but… there is a cool Cafe / Bar with a nice vibe, comfy sofas and really good atmosphere. When many places in the area are busy, this spot is perfect choice to hang out with friends with a drink or coffee. Definitely one of the places where you could also work from or even have a business meeting. Worth a visit!

Lovely cinema with reclining seats and excellent quality screens and sound. Also has a bar. Not expensive given its location.

My definite go to cinema in London. Highly recommended for big screen experience. Do check if the movie is screened on screen/theatre 1 which is the best. Also there are sofa seats there

This is my favourite cinema. Great seats and they always put care into making sure the sound and visuals are presented well. It’s quite expensive but actually cheap for its location. Sometimes worth the cost to make sure you get the full experience. Make sure to try the desserts in the café they are also amazing

Unfortunately had a quite dismal experience. Went to a one-off viewing of a band in concert. Sound was just terrible! Like many others, I complained to management, asked to see projectionist, unable or unwilling to do anything to fix it. Mangeress had lousy attitude when confronted on sound issues and then cashed up the main bar so refused to serve mixed drinks. Eventually after many many complaints and a near customer uprising in the lobby, refunds were issued - rightly so! The chap at snack kiosk deserves high praise and is a credit to the service team - a keeper! Won't be rushing back to this premium cinema and the evening and event for us was ruined. Some pest control in the building also needs to be employed as we saw a mouse scampering in the mezzanine snack bar kitchen when being issued refunds.

This is the true gem of central London. Membership grants you access to the bar and I've definitely got my value out of it! Great workspace & rooftop drinks. This Picture House is my go to and the staff are lovely, I can't fault it really. It's been getting too popular so maybe I shouldn't post this! Brilliant cinema too...

My favourite cinema in London! I love coming here as a member and using the lounge/terrace after a film viewing. The prices are reasonable, especially nice with a membership discount. The staff are always very nice and the interior has a great atmosphere!
