BIG SCAM!!! DON'T GO! I have 2 tickets for Slimelight Halloween (their oldest running gothic party) and I arrived with my friend at 00:30 from Paris, and my friends from London got 2 tickets too. So we are 4 in total. Despite our tickets, the security guards in charge of the queue on site told us that there was a 1 hour wait (100m queue). He also indicated that they only let in when someone is leaving. Even the people on the guest list had to wait a long time and it was starting to make them aggressive. By questioning in the queue, everyone else had a ticket. There had clearly been excessive overbooking. After 1 hour of waiting, we only progressed 5m (only due to the fact that the people in front of us left the queue). Given the slowness of our progress, we had no chance of entering the club before the doors closed (3am). I tried to go directly to speak at the entrance of the club, but the security guard held me back. I finally managed to get around it. He came back to me and threatened to force me out of the queue if I didn't cooperate and get back to the back of the line. So it was just impossible to even get close to the doors. So we left the queue, frozen after 1 hour of waiting for nothing, at 1:30. Our evening was ruined... Then next day we were requesting refund through official website and Facebook. They either refuse refund or just not replying at all. It was super sacarsm that before purchasing ticket, I had a chance to talk to the organizer in Facebook, he was being super nice and promised that I will have the best party ever. That somehow comes true that Electrowerkz made my WORST party ever. Have been frequently partied the most famous underground parties all over Europe, None of them has played this ugly.... You should at least learn what Berghain do in Berlin, if you don't let people go inside, at least only sell ticket at entrance, so people would queue hours with a reason. Such a shame to run this scam overselling policy within the alternative community.

Really interesting venue, quirky and very roomy. Staff friendly and helpful and a great Sunday roast. Can especially recommend the roast beef which was cooked on the rare side of medium. Great cocktails too!

Really amazing venue, has the wow factor when you walk in, full of plants and artwork. Prices reasonable. Sound and stage for gigs sounded and looked really good! Had a lovely time and looking forward to going back.

Discovered this place a few weeks ago when I was walking around Angel. I asked the Porter about this venue to find out what it was and the answer is a goth/dark techno/industrial/dark electro music venue. To my surprise I was invited to have a look around as it was time for them to open for Sunday roast dinner (around 12 noon). Super friendly staff. My companion and I were the only customers at the time. We were served a delicious Sunday roast. The place itself is beautiful, ample and extends to three stories tall. Very reasonable prices, clean toilets, disable accessible. I’d definitely return.

Great venue, cool space with excellent lighting and sound facilities! Depending on the event there’s lots to explore! The Floors are distinct and interesting spaces - will definitely be going to future events at this venue!

If you ever visit this place, one of its night parties know that you visited place in London that is timeless, that it never changes. For last 30 and more years this place was home for many beautiful goth, 80s and all kinds of alternative music trends parties from Slimlite to Reptile and they are truly unforgettable.

I attended The Rave Story 2023 event which was a well-organized, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all attendees. The diverse music, accessible facilities for people with disabilities, and availability of food and beverages made it convenient and fun. The inclusive nature of the event created a sense of community and connectedness among attendees.

Went to Electrowerkz for the @deathingloria album launch & ate in the courtyard before the gig. First time at the venue & it’s one of the best venues I’ve been to in a very long time. The team were very polite, professional &?welcoming, the food was superb & great value for money, the building and rooms were superb. The room where the gig was was amazing with an excellent sound & lighting which makes a more enjoyable evening when seeing live music.. Incredibly fantastic place🤘🤘

An amazing goth temple in London. Three floors of consistently good tunes, between hard rock and 80s goth to edm and industrial. Karaoke was a nice touch. Friendly respectful staff. Also type of people that go make the place just unique. Hope it maintains its character and doesn't change to a more mainstream vibe under new management.

Best location to host Trough, Roast, Hunter parties in London. Close to Angel tube station for easy commute. Huge old warehouse, large enough for many rooms with different music. Large cloakroom efficient with nice and speed staff.

Very close to Angel tube station this venue is on two floors each with its own event space and bars. Entry was well managed by polite but thorough security. The sound and lighting in both spaces is good with the stages being high enough for those at the back to get a good view. The bars have a wide selection of drinks though the beer comes in cans and pricing is on the high side. I have knocked a star off as yet again the loos really need attention. One basin had a broken tap and there was no hand dryers or towels.

Great venue! First time there and went for a rave story/history event. Great beers, food and staff. Our event was brilliant with lots of like minded people.

Considering that I’d only give five stars to an unexpected and exceptional experience, the 4 stars I’ve given this venue is because it has definitely impressed me. No queues to get in, at the cloak room, and at the bars. Staff are polite and friendly. A lot of course depends on the specific event that you attend. There are regular weekly nights for all sort of crowds.

The best atmosphere. Some of the best nights the new management team and the old crew working together splendidly to create a new creative space while keeping some of its old authenticity with some of the original nights mixed with the new. We are also using the amazing space for rehearsals for our new band The Big Family! And look forward to organising some events there too myself. Management just such a joy helpful and amazing…. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️💋💋💋

Good beer, friendly staff. The music, the crowd? Brilliant tunes, eclectic mix, a dark look overall but in a colourful way. It was good to be there and for some, after too long. There is an improvement (!?), don't ask why or how, there just is. Something in the air, as they say, that wasn't there before.

Visited for the Sunday roast, very large portions, so good value for money, friendly staff, great ambience. This is not your usual restaurant, as it is on the site of a scrap metal works, part of the decor salvaged metal items, the owners will be only too happy to share the full history. This is also the venue for the Slimelight night club, and other functions. All in all a different, but exciting eating experience. You must visit!

Have been often both for the satanic flea market witch is awesome but also for club nights. Such a nice adaptable space. Much better drinks choices than most clubs and friendly staff both on the door and bar. Make sure you bring photo id for any club nights as it’s a must

I've been coming to the Electrowerkz for a while now, mainly to attend Voodoo London but I have also been here for a few smaller events. The experience has always been very positive and it is by far my favourite club in London and maybe one of the few where you can experience something slightly different and less mainstream. Bar staff and security have always been very friendly and there is overall a very inclusive and safe atmosphere inside. The cloak room on the top floor is also very convenient. The club can feel a bit claustrophobic during peek times at big events and I can never seems to find my way inside due to the winding and split level configuration of the building but that is really the only two things I don't enjoy.

Lovely place with a great show and music! Will be coming back! We had face paint, £3.50 red bulls, very talented dancers and DJs.

Amazing club, amazing restaurant and amazing Sunday roast. The atmosphere is really nice with loads of natural light and plants and an industrial vibe. The food is incredible, staff are attentive and I can really see this becoming the new hotspot in Angel! Make sure to check it out of you're nearby!

Great alternative club, great atmosphere. Plenty of things happening to keep you entertained until the early hours. Brilliant clockroom but a bit pricey £3 an item.

Good selection of music options over 4 rooms. Seating on the side in all rooms. Drinks not too expensive and made quickly, nice staff. Would visit again.

Great place. Can tell a lot of thought has gone into the decor, food was very well cooked and staff were very friendly. Drinks were bought out quick too. Also loved that you order through the app now to have as little contact as possible with staff which is great to see in the current climate!

I attended Slimelight here 20/11/2021. Really great venue: friendly, helpful and professional staff, fantastic music, cool, very interesting, extremely friendly patrons. Covid, ID and security checks prior to entry made me feel completely comfortable. Thanks very much for a great night! We'll be back ;-)

Went for ROAST. Bit pricey but good place. Hi I am not able to respond to your response. Coat check in was £2.50 per item. Personally I feel this was pricey. Beers were about £6 something and if I recall they were not main branded lagers/ beers. Worth adding that staff were friendly, and had a good night. Would liked there to of been a more cheesy pop music room! 🎶🎶😁

Cool, grungy, unsanitized (in the cultural sense, not the medical) music venue - not many left in central London any more, so long may it thrive. Good attention to Covid safety on the door, relaxed and friendly staff inside, good sound and decent lighting (a rarity for music venues).

Been here in a couple of night out and what a great place. All my friends that I took with me were really positively impressed. We used to go out party in London when we lived here but this place wasn’t open. I get now why it’s slowly becoming more and more popular. Staff is great, from the door lads/ladies to the bartenders. Especially Nico whom is always super friendly and happy to have a chat. 100% recommended.
