Absolutely perfect evening, drinks were incredible, the view was nice, the peppers and croquettes were excellent. We were comfortably seated and able to chat and catch up in a lively atmosphere. But mostly impressed by our sever Leo who kept the amazing suggestions, great drinks and outstanding service going for hours on end.

Really enjoyed it there. Amazing cocktails and a great experience. The views were stunning of the Thames and London From the moment we arrived they came round all evening with fresh tap water and the waiter service was brilliant I would definitely recommend this place for an evening out. We had cheese and biscuits, but people eating delicious looking food

LONDON ROOFTOP BAR MUST VISIT🍸🍸 A beautiful VIP bar with THAT skyline. No matter the weather, the view over London from here is pretty spectacular! I arrived just as they were opening on a weekday. Was quiet but within an hour became very busy. Plush decor and the views are really what you come here for. Sitting here on a Summers day drinking Aperol Spritz' or champagne is defo the way its done! Great staff, nice cocktails. Very nice cocktail bar

Nice bar with a great view. It's about 15 pounds per drink. But the outdoor seats can be a bit cold

Good venue for drinks, nice decor, comfy seating and dj who played good music. The outdoor area is small and was very windy on the day of our visit, so made it too cold to stay out for ages, but has good views. Table service only with a selection of strange cocktails so prepare to have 13% added on top. There's a tiny asterisk at the bottom of the menu that says you can ask for classic cocktails. I asked if they do frozen cocktails and the server said yes, but it wasn't frozen! 😂 Food was tasty.

Nice swanky rooftop bar! Over 20 pages for their drink menu. Only one page for food but that food is delicious! Highly recommend. They also got a Photo Booth, you can send pics to yourself.

Really cool bar (a lot of which is designed by my favourite architect Tom Dixon so may be slightly bias!) Fairly standard cocktail menu but still every one I tried was lovely and very reasonably priced for a rooftop bar overlooking the Thames! Would definitely recommend and will return!

Absolutely astounding bar. A really refined yet lively atmosphere, drinks can get very expensive depending on your price range, but even going for one or two drinks can keep the bill low. Views of Thames' North Bank after sunset are beautiful with loads of illuminations from the buildings. About a 5 minute walk from Blackfriars station, so it's really accessible. I was able to book a table for two about 2 hours in advance and we were accommodated for (it was a Thursday night, so I guess it wouldn't be possible to do on the weekend). The staff were really friendly and quick. Would love to go back there again

Food, service and atmosphere really good. The digital Photo Booth was a nice added touch. The virgin pina colada was yummy but the virgin mojito really sour. Would come and recommend to others.

Had my 40th birthday here and loved it. Great location, view, staff, food & drinks! Extra fun with a free Photo Booth and DJ. Special thanks to Victoria, Rado and waiting staff who worked hard to make it special.

Situated within the sea containers Hotel, the entrance is on the right as you enter the foyer. Through the door and up in the lift, you are greeted by very friendly security and hostesses. Welcomed and shown to our table, spectacular views of St Paul's dome and the bustling night time of the Thames and city. Resident dj is playing and a lively crowd. Good range of cocktails, a smaller selection of wines, and all average prices for London. Booking for a weekend is highly recommended. Look forward to visiting again.

First time I've been to the 12th Knot (although have been to the Lyaness bar a few times). The service was amazing and felt very looked after, with one of the members of staff having a chat with us. Didn't feel rushed to leave even though on arrival we were told there was a time limit to the table. The cocktails were very good and was recommended a cocktail, they were spot on with their choice. Amazing views, highly recommend visiting here

Lovely rooftop terrace bar. My daughter and I enjoyed pre-show cocktails before an easy stroll up to The Old Vic. Couldn't fault anything - we were welcomed at the door and our waitress (Cat) couldn't do enough for us. The view is spectacular. Great place to meet friends or take family!

A cute place to have a drink. They have really good cocktails. However, you can't go out to the balcony, which was pity cause we couldn't enjoy the view without the mirroring of lights from the bar.

Outstanding views and nice setting and vibe. However service is slow and cocktail menu is a pretty generic and lacks presentation for the price. No beers on tap. Worth going for the view.

Great bar, good DJ and music selection for the place. The drinks are quite expensive but it is expected for the location. Staff are wonderful and it has a terrace which you can see the city of London.

From the start of the booking process until the time we left every interaction with 12th Knot was efficient, polite and professional. Great Location, not far from the underground. I drove and found street parking nearby. The access lift to 12th Knot is clearly signposted in the lobby. The lift was dark inside though and it was difficult to see which button to press. Upon exiting the lift we were given a warm and friendly welcome by both the security staff and host. Our booking was located and we were taken to a fantastic table by the window. It was too cold and very windy, so sitting outside wasn't appropriate. We were only there to enjoy a cocktail before our dinner at Sea Containers Restaurant. There's a great selection to suit all tastes. They are all priced the same at £13.50. What more needs to be said about 12th Knot.

A bit pricier than the average London rooftop bar. Staff were lovely and helpful (but extremely busy so expect a bit of a wait). Cute terrace and great views.

Really nice vibe for a drink with friends or a date. If the weather is nice would really recommend to book a table outside the view is amazing! Great service and good drinks

Excellent cocktails by Addrielle and Louis. Friendly and professional. The place reminds me of being in a cruise. Decor is lush and not to mention the views: crossing the bridge from Blackfriars tube station.

With a name like 12th Knot in the Sea Containers Hotel you can't go wrong! I've not eaten here but I have previously had the pleasure of spending my birthday eve here with some girlfriends and recently worked as a hostess at a private corporate function. It's super cool with the BEST view of north and south embankments. Staff are super friendly also

We had high hopes for 12th Knot. Coming in we were directed and greeted nicely by a fabulously attired host who made us feel very welcome. As it was my partner's birthday I think they'd saved us a two person table by the window as well, which was really appreciated. Poor service really marred our entire experience unfortunately, we were slow to be offered a first drink and then often waiting with empties to be able to order our second. It looked to my inexperienced eye like there were too few staff, and some new staff learning the ropes who were not being as attentive as they should be. Cocktails lacked sparkle/presentation - especially for the price Inside decor is great and they had a DJ who was very into his work busting out some trendy background lounge tunes. The terrace was a disappointment, we expected to want to sit out there but the dirty tables and stark, bare metal chairs did not look at all appealing. They looked like they were in desperate need of some seat cushions/they had forgotten to put them out that day. Overall despite having high expectations, I probably would not recommend.

Lovely and very fancy bar right in the middle of London. We had a couple of drinks and it was a little pricey but it was definitely worth it. We'll most likely be coming back, hopefully some time soon.

A great venue for that post work drink whilst admiring the skyline. The barman definitely knows his cocktails and was able to make off menu suggestions to fit the mood of the evening.

One of the best rooftop bars in London more recommendations on my blog 'Gone Sun Where' Visited on a Thursday night where city lights were on display. Atmosphere was really nice, with good music from the in house dj. Friday/Saturday nights can be overly busy if that's your thing.

We paid £35 for two completely watered down drinks but still we went to admire the view of London, due to a bit of rain they didn't let us out, even having booked for the table outside. They made us sit at a table positioned practically at the entrance and on the opposite side to that of the "panoramic" view! I don't recommend it as a rooftop to admire the Skyline and at this point not even to drink a cocktail!
