I have mixed feeling about this pop-up museum and I was considering to provide only three stars; however, I am keeping in mind this is only a pop-up and temporary museum and once the redevelopment of Lambeth Fire Brigade completes, a proper and functioning Museum will be up and running. The exhibition is very small and I'd recommend for people to go during an event or activity already planned; or just pop up to the Migration Museum (on the 1st floor) which I found it to be absolutely fantastic.

Beyond disappointed. Listed as open today 10-4pm. Locked doors. No update on google. Phone line doesn't connect. No info on the entrance. After investigating further online it's closed down. We travelled all the way in to Lambeth for our fire obsessed 3yr old's birthday. He's heartbroken in his fire fighting helmet. Angry. Doesn't even deserve one star

We drove nearly one hour to get there. We were very disappointed. The museum is a couple of rooms: one with some pictures, the other one with a firetruck and its content. In addition of this it is quite dirty and the toilet too. The reason why of the two stars is because the staff at the entrance was at least quite friendly.

Worth dropping in if you're just around the corner, but I travelled across London to see it and felt I'd wasted my time. There's a small history of the fire station just across the road (not the LFB in general!), but all the exhibits are bizarrely missing so you can just read the text. And the full contents of a fire engine are laid out on the floor, but without much interpretation. It would really be better if they didn't pretend this was a "museum" and waited till their permanent home was up and running.

So little to see and all behind plastic walls. A handful of photos. Would not recommend in current state.

Disappointed, took my kids there and couldn't spend more than 10 minutes, so boring

Wouldn’t recommend to be honest. Really wasn’t much to look at apart from 2 fire engines and equipment sprawled all over the floor behind glass. The hands on part of making fire safety cards wasn’t good at all. There were hardly any pencils and no templates or card to draw on. My 2 daughters were disappointed as was I. Online it sounded like it would be great but it was such a let down. Especially because we had travelled from the other side of London just to visit.

This was so disappointing travelled down from Liverpool to see the museum LFB has such an interesting history, other than pictures telling the history of their HQ and the war years. Fire brigade exhibits are2 appliances behind plastic walls with a load of equipment on the floor if you are thinking of visiting don't it's not worth the effort
