This modest park with original Victorian path lay-out, landscaped by Fanny Rollo Wilkinson in the 1890’s. Original heritage fabric includes a bandstand and summer house. Grade II Listed , atmospheric and delightful. A contemporary children's playground, courts, a nature area, enclosed lawns, shady trees, communal gardens and cafe complete what is possibly London's finest suburban small park and certainly worth seeking out. Unreservedly recommended.

Great park for babies and toddlers with playground and water play. Hours of endless fun and a great way to cool down during the hot weather. It also has lovely gardens outside the play area which is great for an afternoon stroll. Wheelchair and buggy accessible. There are also a couple of toilets available in the park too.

Lovely park, can book tennis courts, has a nice cafe - poor lighting though. Don’t go through a dusk as you can’t see

Although not very big, the children's playground is amazing with the water feature for the summer months, there is a big dog free area where people always picnic and have celebrations, there is a dog park, football and tennis pitches. It has a cafΓ©. Just a lovely hidden park.

Quiet park with cafe in summer has a tennis court and football area. Clean area and smells nice with the trees and flower beds contributing. Nice place to read a book on a bench. Really nice

I like this little park with its greenery and plenty of benches to sit down on and enjoy nature. Great for my morning yoga on some days as it's not overcrowded. Also, I may try some rollerskating as the parks' paths are nice and smooth. It also has a pitch and children's play area. It might have an outdoor gym but I'm not too sure.

Also the win win of the Park is if the weather is good the kids can play at kids water area. It's super cool, parents can just seat , relax and enjoy see their children. Another side de Park has football/basketball pitch and tennis 🎾 area too. Loos like a very clean Park πŸ‘ŒπŸ½ πŸ‘πŸ½

Decent park with nice plants but not a place to volunteer. They rely on a majority of unpaid volunteers under an inefficient staffing structure (employees sit around and gossip while volunteers work). It has put volunteer work in perspective to not give free time and skill for no pay.

Dog park in the north area of the park is well kept. As it's right by the tennis court my dog had a lovely time being spectator for some practicing tennis, and there are always a couple of tennis balls to be found to play with. It's not separate for big and small dogs, so keep that in mind when visiting as well.

A lovely ambiance here on a Sunday afternoon. Despite the dry grass, people were out on a cool day to enjoy the cool weather. There is a dedicated picnic area with tables, playground with small rock climbing and large expanses of cut grass areas to relax and lie down on. There is also a few bandstands - on Sunday evening we heard an open-mic of relaxing rock music. There are also very good free toilet facilities, in good working order with soap etc. A nice park to do park stuff, throw a frisbee and see friends.

The park is nicer now as those poky grass that hurts doggies skins or ears & therefore owners' hearts or purse are drying away. & Lovely sent & colourful flowers are coming back ✌🀞

The little cafe is sweet and a great place for people to visit. Pigeons are around because people decide to feed them. Bad idea as it makes the problem worse. The cafe make a good coffee and are not work shy.

Too many dogs knocking about but great place to bring kids and even has a dog free section. All parks should have dog free sections.

Like to go jogging round the tarmac inside the park in the evenings or early mornings, (sometimes around perimeter outside) nice & safe.

Bad place to volunteer. The leading staff in the park and the greenhouse, those who run the park and greenhouse are extremely t0xic, dishonest and lack integrity. Volunteers have been discriminated against and then gotten rid of when they raised issues. They raise funds n the backs of unpaid volunteers while looking wholesome in the community. T0xic behaviour especially from the greenhouse staff and those running the whole park.

Lovely quiet park, and particularly good for its children's playground which is filled with a good variety of top quality equipment, and a brilliant waterplay space for the summer days.

Amazing local park for all ages. The park hosts a kids play area so its a perfect place to take young kids, has a water play area which is great during the hot weather, the kids area has swings, slides, zip line, climbing frames and plenty of benches/tables for parents to sit and keep an eye on the little ones. If you need refreshments or snacks there is a little cafe. There's a fenced area for no dogs which works well for picnics. In general this park has loads of amenities such as astro turf, tennis courts, basket ball area and football pitch and toilet facilities.

A lovely family park which boasts Ancient trees and a small quiet garden for contemplation. There is a place for hanging prayer bundles on the good medicine tree to remember loved ones and to ask our ancestors to send healing out across the world

Beautiful place! Cafe can be a little slow sometimes if they get a line but that’s my only complaint, oh and the paths can be a little slippery and there can be a few holes in the lawns to trip on xD

Excellent park and definitely added to our sanity levels over lockdown. It's a beautiful oasis in the concrete jungle of Camberwell. The little cat cafe is a wonderful cafe at the middle of the park and a great little spot to stop and smell the roses

A nice little park to chill out, watch children learn tennis, listening to parakeets crying their heads off. A kid's playground and dog training areas are also available. On particular days, you might also see an ice cream van by the bandstand

A lovely community-run park. A bit of a hidden gem but full of life & activity. My husband and I got married there last week and received such great customer service throughout the planning process from the Park Operations Manager Eliza. There is a cute little cafe with friendly staff selling hot drinks & snacks plus toilet facilities too. There are plenty of different areas for various sports, picnics, children's play, dog-walking as well as quiet contemplation. There really is something for everyone !

Best coffee I've had for a long time. As good as a the best places in the West End, e.g. Monmouth Coffee. I'd give it 5 stars if there was somewhere to sit!

I had grown up in that area as a child. Visiting a family member with my 4 year old son. I was surprised to see how much the children's playground had changed. My son loved the water features and cordially stripped his clothing and played with the sprouting fountains. He had a great time. All good and safe with CCTV.
