If it was just for me I would have rated it 5 stars... but I visited with my partner and him being slightly larger, he couldn't do some of the rides, and the ones he could it was pretty uncomfortable for him. The website gives restraint measurements but we didn't think they were 100% accurate. But we did pick the best time of of year, queue times were really short :)

Waiting times to get in were ridiculously long, almost 2 hours, so I recommend planning ahead and arriving early. Waiting times before each ride range from 5 minutes to 2 hours, having the Thorpe Park app installed on your phone is essential to plan your day. In a whole day managed only 4 rides and one of them had to be fast tracked otherwise wouldn't have happened. Other than that, great fun!

Good rides and good fun. Unfortunately the entire park looks old and soulless. Many restaurants are closed and it feels like there is no love being put into its upkeep. The rides are great but the themes seem random and not well implemented compared to other theme parks. Even new attractions like the Ghost Train started out well but they probably ran out of budget at some point…

My favourite theme park in the UK! The rides are amazing amazing and the park has a fun & safe atmosphere. Only downside would be that the lines can be very long and if it’s busy, and you’re without a fast pass, don’t expect to get on all the rides… but the fast passes are good prices compared to other theme parks. If you’re planning on going during half-terms/school holidays and look to buy fast passes then I’d highly suggest buying them online since they can be sold out by the time you get there!

Thorpe park experience: Pros - fright nights around Halloween time when we went. The park looks spooky and there are lots of dressed up actors. - disability friendly ( I cannot recommend the ride access pass enough) make sure to apply for this BEFORE coming to the park. This is not just for physical disabilities but disability in all sense of the word. - the large rollercoasters are really fun. - staff are clearly very busy and worked hard but very nice. - they do scare mazes. Cons - ridiculously long queues !!! - we used the app to judge queue times and often the actual queue time was double what was predicted !!! - waiting 80-150 minutes for most rides is insane. - the food is really expensive for what is it - the actual time on the ride is very very short.

A great theme park, but no halal food! Has a decent selection of rides to go on from fast pace roller coasters to fear inducing walking dead rides to chilled dodgems. Each rides were exhilarating and very enjoyable and fun but wished it lasted a bit longer. Rides are walking distance from each which is great as you don't have to walk a mile to get to rides unlike other theme parks... Plus an added bonus is the Thorpe Park App! Highly recommend downloading it is a great companion to have to help navigate the park. Only downside is the long waiting time for each rides. Now onto food... This was a huge disappointment. From the selection of restaurants available to choose from, only two were halal; Amity Kebabs and Tacotaria (chicken only)..... Food were decent from these places but just felt lacking and a bit sad as these were the only options available. Apart from the food and waiting time, it's a great place to visit at least once.

Great Theme Park for all the family to enjoy, though its mainly aimed at thrill ride seekers and older children / adults. Queues can be long, though luckily on the day we went it wasn't too bad. I would recommend using fast track where possible to maximize your day of getting in as many rides as possible. If you don't like getting wet avoid tidal wave at all costs ..... there's no hiding from getting absolutely soaked ! Though refreshing on a hot sunny day : ) Definitely worth a visit.

One of best thriller & adventure park in United kingdom. Install the Thorpe park Application it's very useful while getting in different rides. You can buy food from different street food & well known food stall. There different games are also in park . Don't miss top 10 rides of park which are shown in Park Application. The parking is very big so you can get easily parking. Try to buy tickets online with parking charge.

Have not been since 2015, it was great to get back to this adventure place, yes it gets really busy as school holidays started, but thrill seekers don't care about that why because it's adventures we care about, loved every bit getting back to the park, very helpful staff and rides are as awesome as always. Young or old you will love it, yes book the tickets in advance to get huge discount otherwise it be very expensive. Enjoy recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great weekend stayed in their shark cabins which are very small but fine for one nite breakfast included plus fast track for one hr next day. Little bit expensive but this was a birthday treat. Could do with more rides for people who don't like heights or speed. Everything very clean and helpful staff.

The best theme park I’ve ever been in the UK! The rides are so epic! At first I was scared but then I wanted to go on most of them again! I’ll definitely come here again! Staff are friendly and always double check if you are safe for the ride :)

Amazing Park. So many thrilling rides. The fact that the queue system allows you to ride at the front row is amazing. If you want full experience, ride all the coasters on the front row. My Top 5 rides at Thorpe Park ranked: 1. Stealth (The Adrenaline rush and G force) 2. Saw The Ride (Scary drop in the dark & jaw dropping spikes) 3. The Swarm (Thrill + comfort + Theme) 4. Nemesis Inferno (Views + Inversions ) 5. Detonator (Amazing drop)

It was a very nice day to visit the park. However, it is always good to buy fast tracks beforehand, which could help save time and not be stuck in the queues for ages! Unfortunately, out of 6 rides, 4 had technical issues and were closed for at least 30 minutes, which made people rush into different rides and prolonged the waiting time even longer 😕! Just remember that you came to have fun and to leave the stress out for a day! 🎢😀😁🎡🍕🏞🥳

Thorpe Park is an amazing day out for the whole family (but especially thrill seekers). The rides are amazing and unique and the park is very clean and looks great. The queues can get very busy sometimes but fast track is available to skip queues as an up charge, however if you manage your day well you can avoid most of the big queues. Food is surprisingly well priced considering you are in a theme park and the whole atmosphere of the park was so good with music and visual effects which really added to the experience. 10/10

Arrived at opening and after a short wait to get in we enjoyed a full day of all rides being available and queues at a minimum for a big part of the day. Staff were all helpful from ride operations to those in the retail/food outlets. In summary this is an excellent theme park with big adrenaline rides Stealth, Colossus and several more, there’s non coaster big thrills Quantum, Vortex, The edge and many others. The que times were exceptionally max of 45 min to 1 hours wait for anything only thing I wish they did have is a separate small area for people to try out test seats as it can be quite uncomfortable for some to try them right at a ride entrance were as small unit with all seats maybe manned would be ideal for guidance.

Booked to stay in the shark cabin and free parking, breakfast, no ques and sunny weather made it perfect. This morning the weather wasn't the best and it was 20x busier but, value for money alone yesterday was brill. Went on every ride atleast twice on Friday. Used the free fast pass to go on the best rides before heading off early.

It’s a really great place, we had a good time, most of the rides are more suitable for older kids, the queues were like so long, spent 50 to 60 minutes to get on some rides, enjoyed the shows especially the magic act and the sword swallowing guy. In order to go on all the attractions, you may need to book a room in the cabins to achieve this. Lots of options for food and free water refills everywhere

Most rides are exciting, thrilling and some seems very difficult ones etc. would appeal mainly to teenagers and adults than very young kids. There seems no 4D, 5D studio. The Storm seems one of the tough one, there are multiple tough and excited, dangerous rides on this resorts. Loads of restaurants, fast food, bake foods, ice cream etc. Overall good.

It's a fairly popular park. Rides were nice, and staff was super friendly. Wait times for the big rides were understandably long, so I would recommend the fast pass, even though it is quite expensive. Over all, nice staff, well maintained rides, and an enjoyable day.

Thorpe park is a decently sized theme park that mostly aims towards thrill seekers rather than children. If you like big rides but not a huge distance between them then this is the park to visit. I highly recommend getting fast passes, as the queues for the main attractions get to 50 min+ fast, with fast passes you can see the whole park in a day easy.

Great park for the older kids, you've really got to be 1.4m to get your money's worth. We went on Fright Night and my only negative would be that there weren't enough "characters" walking around the park, only kept to their set areas which meant you had to go out of your way to see them. Otherwise, an amazing day

Went to Thorpe Park for fright nights, I have autism and ADHD, upon entry the lady at the desk was so kind and helpful as she could see I was nervous, the park staff were fabulous, the fright nights mazes were brilliant, the shows were wonderful! Really great experience, on the first night we had a couple of drinks at one of the little bars being served by Josh and Ed who deserve a special mention as they were so friendly and helped answer questions about things going on at the park, so much so that I booked to come again the next day! Well done everyone and thanks for having us ❤️

Can’t complain about the rides, they have some really good ones - we loved the nemesis inferno ride personally! Colossus was closed unfortunately so be aware of this before you go so you aren’t disappointed! The queues were very long though, saw for example was a 230 minute wait. Some of the hand sanitiser pots were empty however but most were full

Great theme park we had loads of fun on the rides. The only issue was it was a Saturday and was very busy so ride queues was up to 75 min wait time. At the end of the day next time we would go in the week. Overall we enjoyed our day. We travelled from the Midlands and stayed in a nearby hotel on a hotel and theme park one day entry ticket.

We have been visiting Thorpe Park with our disabled client for a day trip. It's not always easy to access comunity with him. But we had no problem at all. Everything went well and he had such an amazing time! Friendly and helpful staff, accessible toilets. Definitely will be back again.

We queued for swarm as soon as we got in the park. Said that the wait time was 30 minutes. After over an hour in the queue we then had an announcement saying they had closed the ride. We then rushed over to colossus and the same thing happened there. So we had been in the park almost three hours and not been on any rides. At one point the entire place was quiet and no rides were going at all. We went to customer services to ask for some sort of compensation which to be honest we didn’t expect to get. However the young lady was very helpful and gave us two priority passes each to compensate. That made our day so much better. Turning a rubbish day into a fun day.

Great time to be had by the whole family. Good selection of rides for all ages, plenty of good stalls and drink stations about. Very helpful app to use once in the park. Only thing I'd say is signage needed to be slightly bigger/easier to find, but if your using the app it can direct you to where you want to be. Price was pretty fair, food slightly expensive for what you get so my advice is pack a lunch then buy a few snacks if needed. Arcades all around with fluffy Toys of all sizes.Overall Great family day out 👍💪

Thorpe Park did not disappoint!! Visited first time finally during the school holidays and the longest we waited was 40 minutes fir the SAW ride. We got on The Swarm twice in 30 minutes. Times on the app were very accurate and the process to gwt into the theme park took 10 minutes. Photo pass is definitely worth it between a group of you , you're able to collect all the photos from your day. Thank you :)

I had a blast at Thorpe Park with my sister last week. We went on a Tuesday during half term, but surprisingly it wasn't as crowded as we expected. Maybe the weather was too chilly in the morning for some people, but we didn't mind at all as it was sunny all day pretty much. We got in the park at around 11am, which was a bit late because we missed the first hour of opening. I would recommend getting there as early as possible to make the most of your day. There are so many rides and attractions to choose from, and you don't want to waste time queuing. We managed to go on most of the big rides, like Stealth, Nemesis Inferno, Saw and The Swarm. They were all amazing and thrilling, especially Stealth which goes from 0 to 80mph in 2 seconds! My sister was screaming her head off, but I loved it. We also enjoyed some of the smaller rides, like the Detonator, Rush, Zodiac and Quantum. The park is very well maintained and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, but they are quite expensive so you might want to bring your own snacks. We had lunch at the Amity Fish and Chips, which was decent but nothing to write home about. We stayed until closing time, which was 6pm. We wished it was open for a couple more hours, because we still had some rides we wanted to try. Maybe next time we'll go for a two-day pass and stay at the hotel. It was such a fun day out, and we can't wait to go back.

An outdoor fun, lots of rides for kids, young adult and young at heart. Went to celebrate a birthday. We were lucky to have a nice sunny day. There is a small stage where musicians play a live music. We could tried all the rides but we went late and theirs a queue on most thrill rides. We ate at Burger King inside the resort. I advice to buy the ticket in advance.

We had such an amazing time at this place on Saturday! We booked online a few weeks in advance and when the day came there was a full-on storm that day. When we arrived, there were no queues! The most we waited was 25 minutes. We had to wait for lightning and thunder to pass at one point, about 45 minutes, then it was back on. The most thrilling ride for me was definitely Stealth. It's so fast, I lost my breath for a sec. Many food places to choose from. The props for the rides are well done, and create great ambience. One of the kids didn't bring a raincoat so we ended up buying a poncho for £10... So if there's rain on the horizon come prepared.

Thorpe Park is on an island, with only one way in or out. Due to this, the rides are relatively close together, so you don't have too far to walk between each one. Sadly, there is a lot of queue jumping and other rule breaking, which the park turns a blind eye to, which ruins the atmosphere and experience for most visiting the park. The park is packed with thrilling rides and a handful of rides for younger guests. Fright night was well themed, although you do have to pay extra per maze.

I went to Thorpe Park today as a part of a group trip and had a wonderful day! All was well and the lady who was checking the belts in Rush was so so friendly and smiley and completely made the mood nice. She allowed us to stay 3 times in a row on the ride! Food is overpriced however you can't complain about this as it is a theme park. However the only 2 things that let me down was firstly, on Storm Surge, the first time we went the guy wwas very very nice and let us sit on 1 boat and was cheerful, but towards the end of the day we went on it as aour last ride and a different guy was there and this guy was extremely rude. I, being a muslim, felt very discriminated as I was exteremely well-spoken and polite and this man was so rude. We wanted to be all together, the 6 of us, however he split us into 2 and 4 and me being in the split 2, was put into a boat with a romantic couple. I was imagining how awkward it would be.We kindly requested the man that we'd sit out on this time however he abruptly cut us off saying "No you do as I say" and "No you sit how I make you sit". This completely put me off the ride and was about to get off the ride and he even said no to that. The audacity! In the end the other staff called him in and two kind ladies were replaced and we got to sit together in the end but I was devastated at the audacity of that man. Secondly, the toilets were so so unclean! There was tissue stuffed in 1 toilet, there was a drink bottle stuck in tthe toilet and was gross. Also, I feel that in the ladies bathroom at leats there should be a mirror but there's literally no mirror. Of course, the rides were great, but although it was off-peak time, SAW still had a long que. Other than that I absolutely enjoyed my time. Note that you will get an aching body the next day or even the same day.

Fantastic theme park, visit every year with my teenage Son and love every minute of it. Rides are superb, some of the best rollercoasters and theming you'll find anywhere in the world. We always stay in hotels locally to the park, there are many reasonably priced ones within 30 minutes or less drive of the park. Staff are always superb and park is kept very tidy by tirelessly working cleaning staff. Love this place, yes it can be a little pricey but what you get for your money cannot be beaten. Thank-you Thorpe and all your wonderful staff, see you next year !! 🤪😍

The Overall Experience Is amazing, Your on an Island like No Other. Once you step on that bridge, you enter a new world full of Thrills, Chills and fantastic food, with their seasonal events makes everything more Intense and fun. Their Rollercoasters, these bad boys are single headedly the best coasters on park, each with their own Unique theming and backstory, You'll lose your head on the swarm as you fly through an apocalyptic town, You'll get head rush on the King known as Stealth, Overwhelmed by the Fury of the white Knuckle coaster known as Nemesis Inferno, Zoom through the ancient time on Colossus, Take on the challenge and see if you survive Saw: The Ride. The Flat Rides, there are all kinds of Thrilling rides at the resort from ones for all the family to ones that Seek The Thrills and adrenaline rushes. Rush is the Only SNS In the Country which gives it's Unique and rare quality as its only powered by air, Quantum a classic Magic carpet ride what else is there to say, Vortex & Zodiac The 2 of a kind Back to back Thrill rides that you just have to ride, Samurai a former Chessington attraction which has not lost its touch for flinging you around and around. There are quite a few but only named the main ones. Water Attractions, know there are not many but they are great rides to cool off in the summer heat and are great all year round attractions, Tidal Wave for a quick Dip in the water which lead to to being soaking wet, Rumba rapids a relaxing Rapids ride going around and around through its course surrounded by nature and an Iconic soundtrack, Depth Charge is a great slide attraction to race your friend or family on but just make sure you don't fall out :D. Storm Surge is a great relaxing but wet attraction, as you a few others board a raft and go around the course into a final splash and drips of freezing cold water. Food Outlets, now food is the main fuel to keep you going on any trip and Thorpe provides great quality food and refreshments to keep you going through out the day with their mainly outlets across the resort, from the classic fast food restaurants to home made donuts & treats & sweets, there so much you can choose from. Oktoberfest (New For 2020) now I don't know about you but I feel that Oktoberfest was a fantastic event this year (2020) and needless to say, bring your friends down to the resort and sink down a few Pints and enjoy some amazing German foods and treats while listening to some classic Oktoberfest music, you can sing and dance with the people around you, including the roaming performers. Fright Nights, now this is something else, the way they adapted to the rules and regulations of running the event, I can say it went extremely smoothly, the way they planned everything and how they executed it was awesome furthermore, although the mazes where a paid attraction, that does not stop you from getting your fun time scares from the roaming teams and live shows & Scare zones not to forget the rides in the dark. Thorpe Park Is The Place To Be For Any Young or Old Thrill Seeker, Hands Down One Of The Best Parks In The Country.

Good time had by all... just a shame lots of rides delayed or closed because of short staff.. because of covid... what puts waiting times on other rides a lot longer.. if you can afford the extra cost of a fast pass go for it... we stayed on site in the shark 🦈 rooms..🤔 small and compact but who wants to stay in your room when your here.. 5💫 for the grab and go breakfast 😋 and 5💫 for a good shower 🚿 in the room..

Wonderful theme park, in my opinion way better than Alton Towers. Rides are world class and staff were great (apart from a right miserable girl working on Rush). Excellent mix of coasters, flat rides and kiddies rides. Would have given 5 but the batching on Labyrinth was awful meaning that we kept catching up with group in front and only seeing half of the experience. If they fix this and sort out the girl on Rush then it will be a 5.

An incredible day at Thorpe Park. This is my first time visiting and there really is something for everyone. Fast rollercoasters, log flumes, smaller rides for kids and even a beach. Food is also served all over the park in multiple places. Would highly recommend visiting & booking online as it’s far cheaper than paying on the gate.

Absolutely wonderful! As expected the queue times were long, but not as long as you'd expect with the amount of people that were there. Very clean place, although the toilets could do with some air freshener or something 😂 little pricey but again, as expected being a theme park. Needs more for the younger audience as well. I will be back!

Fantastic day out. Haven't been for many years and overcame some of my biggest fears, so felt great. Only one disappointment for us, won't spoil the review with it. Excellent quality customer service and friendly helpful staff, excluding the odd one or two, looking board and mumbling. Excellent teamwork with staff getting people on and off rides, well oiled machine on all the 🎢 roller coasters. Some of the seats could be made more comfortable. Excellent idea of having a replica seat to try before you even queue up. Found the majority of the rides comfortable but the head and neck are poorly supported and we did have pain after a couple of the rides. Large selection of food and drinks available...shame only one healthy option though. It's obviously rather expensive to eat and drink inside the park, there are designated areas for people who self cater. Very clean and the facilities were again very clean and maintained. Would definitely recommend pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and you will be surprised how brave and successful you can be. Overcame and serious fear and started with Stealth....couldn't started with a better ride. 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We went on a Friday as our son had a inset day so thought it wouldn't be busy but we was wrong. The park was busy so we decided to buy the fast track tickets which was definitely worth the money. I think if you wanted to go at a quieter time midweek and out of school holidays would be best. We did line up for about 2hrs for 1 ride buy they was ha ING technical issues with it.

One of my best choices. The park is huge. Fun fact, there is a light security level. Basically, my bag wasn't checked and I got my drink inside in a thermos. Second security check through the magnetic door without a check. The rides are all fun. Stealth is my favourite. Be early and go for the rides asap. Later, the queue usually goes to an hour waiting and it isn't worth the trouble. The whole place is run by young people therefore the customer service is low. Overall, I had an amazing day and I totally recommend you to pay a visit and be prepared as well. Have fun...

I'm not a great fan of theme parks for a great number of reasons but my children wanted to go here. Entry was quick enough with staff helping when the automated barriers struggled. And that theme continued throughout the day with friendly and helpful staff readily available to ensure that we had the best possible experience. My children are both keen to go again. For me it was the wonderful staff that made the day memorable and special, more so than the rides.

Had a great time here as a family. It was very busy as expected on a school summer holiday weekend. Rides were of great fun. Had a few selection of food bars and snack bars. KFC and Burger King are in the premises. We tried Apple fries with ice cream , it was good to try something new. Please be advise that most of the rides need a minimum height or 1.40m . *** draw back there are only very limited rides for babies and toddlers. *** one of the members of the staffs who was in the shift was very rude. We had a couple of rides for our daughter who is 90cm on different rides which required minimum 90cm height. But when we took our daughter for a ride that requires 90cm height, one of the members of the crews at the ride said my daughter didn’t meet the height threshold whereas the other guy said she was okay to go. I told him that my daughter already had gone to this ride in the motoring and used all the other rides with 90cm height threshold. This man was very egoistic that he said he can’t allow her. He was clearly measuring her height in a wrong way which I challenged. Eventually a manager came up all the about 50 feet and measured my daughter 90cm. That guy then said he just wanted to double check. Which was absolutely a stupid excuse. Waste so many people time just because of his ego. This is the reason for them losing 5 star from me despite all the other positive experiences we had in there.

I came to Thorpe Park for an overnight stay in the Shark Cabins and 2 days of park admission. The package overall is really good value for money. The rides were good; the only issue was the queues, and more importantly, the queue jumpers. The number of people who think it's ok to so openly jump the queue is beyond me. Shout out to a staff member called Summer at Storm Surge for kicking the queue jumpers out yesterday. If I could, I would give her more than 5 stars for making our day today! We saw her on different rides today (Colossus and Nemesis). She was very polite and smiley, and we had a good chat with her while waiting in the queue for Colossus. Thorpe Park staff members are great and helpful, which is what we love to see! I would recommend visiting Thorpe Park.

Epic Fright Night, Scare Maze's were 10/10, best I've done. Very busy weekend, Shark cabin accommodation made it less hassle on the 2nd day to get in front of the queues. Multiple rides on all our favourite coasters ! Great weekend 😃

Staff are always so lovely and chatty. Always enjoy the shows throughout the year. Attended fright night with 4 year old and actors were absolutely brilliant with her . Good variety of Rides and food venues. Visited with children aged 4,7,11 and they all had an awesome time.

Good theme park with a variety of rides but the food there is cheap so I'd just stick to the fast food. The queues aren't too bad if you go off-peak and we were lucky with the weather. Worth mentioning that the Thorpe Park App is a must-have to see which rides have the fewest wait times and where to find them on the map. It would also be a good idea to go on the bigger rides at lunch time or at the end of the day when queues are the lowest.

Going during the week was really great. As when we arrived at 9.45 we were allowed into the park. at 10am we were then allowed to queue for the rides, at that time of the morning, no queues at all, which was great. Most of the day ques were no more than 25 minutes, most rides were 10 to 15 minutes, which was good. Only downside was the new attraction being the ghost train stated on the signs and app 20 minutes. When we got there, we were told. After waiting 20 minutes, we have to wait another 20 minutes. When I got to the front of the queue on the outside of the attraction, the employee stated that we still to have to wait another 20 minutes in this queue, and the attraction was also 20 minutes on the inside so we left the queue as it was quite deceiving information. This time, it was 3:30 in the afternoon. Not impressed with just receiving £1 pound of the parking. If you pay online as opposed to paying inside the park. Had a good day, and the weather helped also as it was warm.

Nice place to go but i think it need to be renovated as it is quite old... Talking about things around park. We have seen quite a lot already around UK i would definitely say it is 4 star rating if not 3.

Do not go during the pandemic. Huge waits due to social distancing on the rides - over an hour for every coaster. Although messages were played about social distancing, people just weren't. Stay safe people and wait will next year.

The park is fantastic for families and older thrill seekers alike. I went as a family of four with a 2 and 5 year old. We stayed at the hotel on site over night with free breakfast included that was delicious. I have 2 reasons they didn't earn 5 stars: the first is the hotel is a little bit of an afterthought and rooms are a bit small for my young children, partner and I. And the second is they have no play park which would have been super handy for taking a few hours whilst the children played and we could rest.

  • 4/5 Rachael D. 3 years ago on Google
Great park to go to. As expensive for food as all the others. Only problem is that you spend more than normal in queues because of empty spaces on rides for social distancing and they regularly clean all the rides down and send them round empty to dry. So great Covid measures but it does add greatly to queue times during busy periods. I got on 5 rides in the day. The entrance fee for 5 rides was not worth it, especially since they're the most expensive theme park to go to.

  • 4/5 Dylan A. 3 years ago on Google
Really good day however some poor staff, seemed like they were really bothered about their job, ride queue times were also extremely inaccurate throughout the day being over an hour above or below the advertised times. Only managed to get on six rides due to very long queues due to COVID 19 and security checks in the morning and the ride queues being relatively long throughout the day. Rides were amazing despite all this and had a good day!

  • 4/5 Sven S. 3 years ago on Google
Great rides and a nice park hampered by long queues and lots of closures. Some rides had issues throughout the day and had to be shut to get fixed. There's a lot to do, and with some queues being 1 or 2 hours long, you can expect to leave feeling like you've missed out on a number of experiences by the time the park closes. Essentially paying £10 per roller coaster.

Great day out and very pleased with the social distancing measures the park has put in place, plenty of hand sanitiser everywhere and staff acting very professionally throughout. Excellent job Thorpe Park! ??

  • 2/5 Craig R. 3 years ago on Google
Queue management non existent, not enough staff to deter queue jumping which is rife, gangs of youth's walking straight to the front of the rides. Got in the queue for saw which was showing 30mins, queued for 60 then they closed it. ? We've managed to do 2 rides in 4 hours and this is with reduced numbers due to covid. The weather was nice though hence the 2 stars.

  • 5/5 Elaine F. 3 years ago on Google
Temperature checks are done before people enter the park, and hand sanitiser stations have been added around the park and ride entry points. There are markers for social distancing on the floor in the queue lines, but it's hit and miss how much people pay attention to these. Masks have to be worn on most rides. It's not quite the same, but I'm glad it's open to be enjoyed with some minor adjustments.

  • 3/5 Darrius T. 3 years ago on Google
Excellent rides. Get here before opening and you can get on all the bigs ride within the day. Only problem I had was with infinity bar staff. I know it was much more difficult with the social distancing rules, trying to filter people in and out but they seemed lost and without structure. Ordered some drinks and waited half an hour and they never came and simultaneously passed us by for food orders, opting to take the orders of people they had just seated when the said they’d take drink orders and come back to take food. Get that it’s a little hectic and no ones perfect but in these times attention to detail and focus is everything.

Limitations due to covid which i understand and appriciate, website is completely wrong, unable to have photos as digipic thing is being sold but unable to fo anything with, thorpe park policy is no refund after 15 pounds spent on this item however i was given vouchers, was turned away off a ride due to only my son and myself wanting yo go on but all other rides welcomed us and even allowed us to stay on for another go. Car park unable to purchase as cheaper rste on line has to be purchased on the day costing more, this maybe just a small error but should be checked

  • 1/5 Jay W. 3 years ago on Google
Merlins policy with passholders since covid is unacceptable. It is almost impossible to book as a pass holder even though it still possible to purchase full price tickets. When you do manage to book it is obvious that they aren't capping numbers and are doing nothing about gangs or queue jumpers. The cleaning is being done quickly so isn't the reason for two hour queues. Staff complaing of staff shortages and too many quests. Don't fall for the Coke freestyle rip off...as most of the machines either are shut, run out of flavours or are running warm. Update following reply from owner... Guest services only apologise and no action is taken sick and tired of having to complain to deaf ears only getting standard replies.

Not enough carriages working per ride so very long queues. Not enough staff ensuring social distancing. Went in extremely hot weather and I think more of the in queue shops should be open. We went on 8 rides in 8 hours and we were lucky. You could easily only get on 4/5 and that's not good value for money. Sanitising points were good and the staff were friendly.

Nothing majorly changed except longer queue times than normal. Couldn't say we felt there was any restriction to numbers at all, still 120m queue times ar some points and rides closed due to covid. They should be restricting numbers more I feel as it's still as busy as a normal summer holiday and they are charging the same price considering the closures! Queues longer due to intermittent cleaning also so they are trying. Staff doing their best to advise people to stay 2m apart but of course majority not listening. Masks to be worn on some rides so check the website before you go as we saw alot of people having to by them in the gift shop!

  • 3/5 Daniel S. 3 years ago on Google
The family had a good day out on a very hot day, first time for the kids and a lotta years since me and my wife visited. We loved Tidal Wave especially, and the soaking was welcomed in the 30+ degree temperature. However, I agree with a few other reviews that too many people were allowed in. We were led to believe that due to the covid-19 mitigation strategy, numbers would be limited with pre-booking, but it did not seem like it. Queues were big until the end of the day and several rides closed (e.g. we waited 2 hours approx for Collosus). Some were observing social distancing in the queues but many were not! But overall we had a great time, the rides are quality, run well and safely.

  • 3/5 PQpod Pierre Q. 3 years ago on Google
On todays visit alone the queues were too long (in the heat). Cleaning down the rides, whilst understood, seemed to take a long time. Ultimately this means you go on less rides and so de-values the price of entering Thorpe park. Fast tracking seems to be the only via le way to do the park at the moment.

  • 4/5 Gavin H. 3 years ago on Google
Great for groups, Thorpe park has some rides for kids but not recommended if you have little ones. However if all your party is over 1.4 metres you can enjoy the full experience the park has to offer. Recommended rides. Darren's browns ghost train. And Saw. Only negative but expected, is queue times. 90 - 120 minutes for your popular rollercoasters.

Under the new normal, understandable long queues, social distancing is none existent in the queues but plenty of sanitising stations and masks required in all rides. Wouldn't recommend theme parks until the old norm returns.

First time visiting and won't be the last. We went as a family of 3. Youngest was 5 and although he was too small for most of the rides he still loved riding what he could which was still quite a few. Top.tip.would be when you go in get a return time for Amity beach. There is no option on the booking app to book a time slot for this and we saw quite a few people arguing with staff because all the slots were gone. It's a great area safe for the younger children to have a play in the water and sand. Also the parents get to relax knowing they don't have to.run after them. Water only comes upto my 5yr olds waist at its deepest. We also.got the refillable cups although if your a water only drinker bring your own vessel and fill for free. We had an early lunch around 11.45 and glad we did as an hour later everywhere was packed. Theres a few nice shady places to sit if you have brought your own picnic. Overall we had a brilliant day. Staff were really helpful and always friendly. For the smaller children ride times were on.avareage between 10-15 mins wait which is brilliant. We went to Legoland yesterday and waited minimum of an hour plus for each ride so didn't get on much. Would recommend for families with smaller and larger kids as there is something for all. Will be back.soon.

Great day out! Staff are very friendly and rides are fantastic. Things to know... You will need to wear facemasks on rides. • The £12 refill cups have electronic chips in the bottom of them so you will need to pay £6 for every day of use after the initial day you buy the cup. You can however refill the bottle with water for free from the refill stations. • Park is also (unsurprisingly) very hot/sunny so take lots of suncream and be prepared to drink a lot to stay hydrated! • Que times were actually shorter than I expected for summer although they will get to over an hour for big rides during the day - can't be helped though! Thanks Thorpe :)

Kids love this place, I do too but couldn't ride due to injury. Power cut on day 2 probably due to hot weather so we'll be back in a few weeks. Everything so clean and following guidelines. They were handing out water bottles too. Can't fault it.

Went to the park yesterday (10th August). Lined up at 0915 and it all went smoothly, went to our first ride and took 10 minutes to que. Perfect. After that it was all hell. Lines quicky filled up and with no fast track availaible you had to wait 60 to 120 minutes. Rides were constanly delayed through out the day resulting in further delays. As most of the shops and the like are closed there is no shelter to the elements anywhere it's almost inhumane. There is next to zero social distancing. We left at 13:00 and was shocked to see the entire car park full. Give this place a hard pass.

I’ve spent £40 to go on 3 rides, with ques of 4 hours at 33oC due to overbookings. Barely any social distancing with the spots on the floor so faded you can’t even see them, and people are able to que jump constantly without any staff questioning it. There are no fast track passes for sale, yet people still are allowed to skip the ques (not the disabled fast track, just regular fast track)

Visited on Halloween for Fright Night, I would recommend this experience to anyone. Had a great time, although I found 'The roots of Evil Maze' some what lacking and after completing it thought the £20 entry cost for me and a friend would of been better spent on carnival games or food. All in all I had an amazing time, the costumes the staff were wearing and the whole theme was brilliant.

Visited mid-August and had a good day. My initial experience was poor, I bought season passes knowing I'd have to book days but there was no warning it would be booked so far ahead, as there were day tickets available I'd thought there would be spaces for pass-holders. I guess they need the income from the day tickets but it's not great service. Also I asked a question on Facebook (as suggested on the web site) and it took 3 days to get an answer, so that was the day after we'd been and no use at all! Anyway, we got there prepared for more of the same but actually it was pretty good. There were plenty of people there but it wasn't overcrowded, queues for rides what I'd think is normal (i.e. ages for popular rides at peak times, shorter for other rides or early or late). The app gives queue lengths and gives done indication though isn't always right. In particular the attendants running Rush were cheerful but, ironically enough, not moving quickly so the wait was longer than indicated. The rides are fun, though options are limited for kids under 1.4m tall. The park has done lots for covid-19, not many rides closed but hand sanitizer available, rides often cleaned, mask reminders inside, lots of spacing indicators in queues etc. Unfortunately adherence to these was, well, limited. There were some announcements giving reminders but not much effect, it seems some people are so dim they don't realise spacing out in a queue will make no difference to how quickly they get on a ride! 😕 Food is always expensive at places like this so all we bought was doughnuts (ate our own picnic in the car park!), pricey but it was our choice, we didn't need to. If you're staying until closing time then pay for the parking online and do the ANPR, it's much quicker and keeps things moving.

(Translated by Google) In time I have gone a total of 2 times, one in high season and another in low season, to me it seems a very complete park with great varieties but its orientation to young people is pleasantly noted since its attractive attractions are roller coasters or flat attractions strong, and also everything slightly inspired only with his name or totally with theme and decoration in horror movies, I found everything entertaining, fun and a direct needle to the adrenaline vein, very well other aspects such as customer service or themes controversial food, it must be said that they are not 5 stars for the queues in any season, since they are never absent, in fact you will spend most of the day queuing, we had to go to another attraction since a famous person or something He came and stopped the attraction just for him, marking 4 hours in line, normally the maximum that he opens will be about 1 hour and 30 to 2 hours, since security puts him in front of everything, so it was simple bad luck, so As for the rest, I think it is one of the few parks that knows how to have a link between attractions and decoration, since that seems very important to me. I'll be back when I can, it seems like a pretty amazing park. Fortunately or unfortunately these queues are without a vip pass.

Thorpe Park is certainly one of my top favourites. I do love Thorpe Park they got some amazing rollercoasters here. The staff are very very friendly and they look after Autistic people like me as I have Autism. I once got lost in this park and couldn't find my teacher I asked a member of staff for help and the member of staff helped me and took me back to the office and phoned my teacher and got me back to her safe. I'm very thankful for this as it was scary at the time with lots of people around. My favourite roller coasters are Colossus and Nemesis Inferno. I wish I can see how they make the rides work and go behind the scenes one day if the owner of Thorpe Park would let me. I absolutely love THORPE PARK love from Ben This Theme park is certainly 100% Autistic friendly and has been approved and checked by Ben ✅ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 🎢

You can go once and cover their attractions in a day. It was a good day. 7 years later with friends.

Ride times were over an hour for the popular rides. Storm Surge was slow unnecessarily. They don't tell people there is water in the boats so as people get in they wanna remove shoes which slows it all down. We stayed over and we wouldn't do that again. The room was TINY and the food at the infinity restaurant was poor. The only plus for staying over was the fast track from 10-11. All in all, the family enjoyed the rides and loved the days and that was the main thing. One praise I must give is the access cards they do for all validated disabilities. This really helped my son.

An Island Like No Other - An Accurate Description! So many thrilling rides and rollercoasters it really is a thrill seekers Paradise. The park is super accessible with wheelchairs, information and maps from the accessibility hub. They will do everything they can to give you an enjoyable day. Food options are extensive and very often themed to whatever event is happening on park. Queues during my visit where an average of 15 minutes, extremely good for a mid week day visit. Staff are all super friendly, approachable and the entertainments team are super! Very good entertainment on offer, if you just want to chill with a burger and beer in front of the stage.

Amazing place for a quality family time. Kids loved it. Staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. It's been very busy due to school holidays and expect long wait for the rides. The place is very well maintained and kept clean. Food stalls on bit expensive side but food is fresh.

Absolutely amazing place. I had so much fun with the rides and beers. We were in Thrope Park during October Fest. Not to long to wait for rides especially in the end of the day. Definitely will return for more fun.

What an amazing park this is, I have always loved it and the last time I went (October 3rd 2021) it was brilliant. There wasn’t as many people there on this day so the queues were as short as anything and even when there was a queue it moved very quickly so I’m very impressed with it. Also the food and toilet facilities are great and well placed. Definitely worth the money you pay.

Great theme park we had loads of fun on the rides. Fast rollercoasters, log flumes, smaller rides for kids and even a beach. Food is also served all over the park in multiple places.

A disappointing visit: Fright Night but Darren Brown Ghost Train closed all day, Rhumba Rapids closed all day, no fireworks, queue times displayed aren't correct, most bars and restaurants closed, the couple of bars often ran out of drinks! Have to book in and pay for mazes which used to be included. On the plus side, queues generally weren't too bad and the entertainment staff were quite good.

We had a wonderful day. True queues were really long. But I did manage to get some fast track tickets . I would recommend it. The staff friendly and helpful.

Thorpe Park, great theme park near London, each part, theme and decorations for each ride are great, like walking dead, black mirror etc... But sometime need to queue for an hour for a ride. good food and drink, not overpriced.

A great fun day out, particularly the intense thrill rides such as Stealth, Nemesis and Swarm. The fast track options are highly recommended if you're able to afford. Arrive early to go on the premium rides without much queueing.

Great day, but the Saw ride opened late and there was no notice given so ran all the way there to not get on. Colosseus opened on time but then encountered delays, delays on Swarm too whilst queueing. Can't always be helped but was frustrating. Overall though great day and managed to get all in what we wanted to. Stealth queue 15 minutes 👏 busy but not as busy as thought it would be. Maximum wait 50 minutes (Swarm) but average below half an hour. Special shout out to the staff by the Black Mirror Maze. The maze isn't much to shout about but the staff were well into it and made the experience better.

I was deadly scared of roller coasters, and waiting in line is so much scarier than the actual ride. Once you're strapped in you're safe, and you can't get out so there isn't much to worry about, and you just enjoy the rides. Overall a great day out, I would recommend going as early as possible to make the most of the day.

Thorpe Park is one of the best thrill ride theme parks in the UK! Best off on an overcast day! We stayed in the Shark Cabins which was great value (not much more than two day tickets). I'd definitely recommend two days in the park (or arrive very early) if you wish to ride all the attractions. The resort app is great for finding your way around and planning ride order (by wait times). On our visit, it very slightly rained - this made it a quiet day and our questions times were never over an hour. On our second day we had free fast track in the morning which was helpful for a couple rides. If you want to ride the ghost train, you must book this earlier in the day (I believe bookings open at mid-day) - this is not clear initially and could make you miss out on the attraction. The entry security searches are invasive (especially for hotel/cabin guests) but this signifies the local area/park has a massive problem to be this strict. The entry security causes queues and the security staff have little tact. Most staff were very helpful - the hotel reception were reasonably efficient and provided extras e.g. hair dryer when requested. The cabins are small but for the price cannot be complained against. The only poor experience was when riding 'storm surge' - the gondola is essentially a paddling pool of dirty water which staff do not empty. Attendants allowed some guests to leave socks and shoes by the ride exit - when we attempted to do so, the attendant was very rude and disrespectful. The food at Thorpe Park also leaves something to be desired with no quality food stalls. I'm leaving a positive review because the overall experience was great. Just a couple blips which were quite poor but good on the whole.

Absolutely brilliant day out… took my son (11) as he had an inset day and it was excellent. The rides were epic, Swarm was our favourite as it was so smooth but Stealth was incredible. We paid £66 for us two (with vouchers) and it was worth every penny. Can’t wait to revisit

Plenty of great rides suitable for all ages, and UK tallest one in progress. Good food options including halal, and annual passes are a steal of a deal. Not much has changed over many years so would be good to see newer rides appear more frequently

Thorpe Park. From the beginning. Parking was easy. If you pay online before going you will save £1 and exit you don't have to wait to use a machine. Expect a bag search on entry. The rides are good. Expect longer waits on weekends. Water re fill points and free suncream in the summer. Check in advance for closures of things such as the beach. Plenty of seating and access areas. Lots of noise so take some painkillers. Use vouchers to gain entry and save money as it is expensive. If you eat and drink inside the park it will be more expensive. You can take your own food and drink. If you go on Tidal wave you will get very wet. Otherwise enjoy

Thorpe Park is a fantastic theme park which offers a large selection of rides ranging from child friendly to extreme thrills. Due to its location it is often one of the busiest parks I regularly visit so I would advise using the smartphone app to check ride times on similar days you plan to visit so you can make sure what sort of queue times to expect. My personal favourite rides include The Swarm and Nemesis Inferno. I always have a great time here and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

As a Merlin Pass holder, I've seen Thorpe Park on days when the heat posed challenges for their rides. However, during my recent visit, it was evident that they've made significant improvements to ensure everything operates smoothly even in scorching weather. The rides worked flawlessly, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The friendly staff and the easy availability of water throughout the park were notable highlights. Thorpe Park has clearly taken steps to make sure visitors have a fantastic time, even on the hottest days. I look forward to more enjoyable visits as a pass holder.

Its Thorpe Park whats not to like? Apart from the ques for the rides was too long at times. We stayed in one of the shark Cabins which was good, they are very small but if your just looking for somewhere to put your head down then its perfect, comfy beds ect. The food in the restaurant in the evening was REALLY good as was the breakfast, well worth what we paid I think.

I'm 53 years old and I remember (in my much younger years) enjoying rides like Nemesis and Oblivion at Alton Towers but Ummm... Wow! Stealth? Swarm? Oh my goodness, what a great day that was. I nearly chickened out on the best rides but I'm glad I didn't bottle it. Best adrenalin rush day out in a long time.

Generally a clean, fun park with a more Laid Back atmosphere than Alton Towers. Significantly easier to do more at Thorpe than at Alton Towers, though I do still prefer Alton Towers. I've travelled during public holidays and weekdays, and it's obvious that holidays are significantly busier than regular weekdays, particularly late May through to mid July, where its modtly quieter on Sundays than any other day.

😠 What an utter pile of tripe! Everyone on this "ride" with us walked out with a bemused look on their face. I frankly wondered if I'd missed a bit. Not really anything of an experience...its not a ride, nothing ghostly, not thrilling, scary, entertaining or a decent story. Just odd and disappointing....
