Very wheelchair friendly place to shop and they have a changing place. All the aisle are wide so even if you have a large wheelchair you will be okay. Most shops are entirely accessible. It has a nice variety of shops though it's not huge. Notes on Changing place. The lower shower unit for cleaning your undercarriage is broken (see photo) so it's useless for people needing extra help unless you want a whole body shower in the middle of a public place! They need to sort this 😒. Also, loo roll holder is SOOOO far away from toilet a person with low trunk control will probably fall over trying to reach this. Otherwise fine.

Lovely weekend in Oxford for a break. Oxford is a beautiful city to explore with tons of history. Of course there are the colleges and their beautiful grounds. Most have an entrance fee £6-£10 and tours which are worth it if it's your first time. There's also the punting which is popular at £40. The new shopping mall is fantastic in the heart of the city with loads of shops and eateries. I wouldn't recommend driving as it seems hard to find parking. Train and bus services are very good. We stayed at the premier Inn in Botley Westminster Way and caught the bus right outside which took 15mins to the centre. Same bus right back to hotel too. Get the 24hr group pass for £9 for one day travel on all bus services for a family. Recommend visiting Blenheim palace which is only 20 minutes away, it's stunning. There's also a wildlife park and crocodile sanctuary nearby too. So plenty to see and do in Oxford.

All the time favourite for shopping 🛍️ Every now and then, we visit Westgate Oxford for a day out, and we love it! The atmosphere is so lovely in the shopping centre. The decorations make the place feel very wholesome. There is also a great range of shops, so we never get bored looking around😁

Such a wonderful open air feel shopping mall. Still protected from the elements. There is a variety of brand shops for everybody, ranging from Rolex store to Primark. Well maintained and clean place. Many places for clothing, jewelry, shoes, food, and more. Top terrace is full of eating & drinking places as well as check out the top floor by the theatre for nice views of Oxford City Center.

There are many selections of stores and restaurants. Make sure you get warm clothes on windy and cold days as it gets really cold inside the mall. There was very long queue for the parking so plan ahead if you are visiting the city on weekends. It is a walking distance to the city centre and surrounding attractions. The rooftop has a brilliant view to the city with the opportunity to have a drink or get a bite.

Large mostly indoor mall with many higher end shops. While the mall didn’t seem to have wifi, about a dozen stores had it. There were bathrooms and a nice city view on the too floor.

Went to Oxford for the day and took a stroll through their Westgate Shopping Mall. We walked bottom to top where there are great views of parts of Oxford. Loads of well known shops, independent ones too and good selection of places to eat. We chose to eat at Dirty Bones which was well worth the visit.

Nice place for an evening out with family. You get to choose from doing normal shopping to dine out. Also park here and go for a walk in the city center. The mall is clean and has sanitizing stations after every few shops. Would have been better of the plants on the ground floor were not artificial. Though the ones on top floor are real and add to the charm of the place. Take tour warm coat along and don't leave it in the car since the common areas of the mall are more of an open architecture and gets cold due to cross ventilation.

Best shopping center!!! Great stores. Great brands from COS, Tommy Hilfiger, Primark, also noticed that TK Max is about to open. The view from the rooftop is amazing-don’t miss that it’s the highlight of the place!

Good quality mall at the heart of oxford city. Plenty of parking which is charged. Slightly cheaper after 5pm though. A lot of street fashion stores! Some food options as well.

This place is amazing, it's absolutely massive and has almost everything you can think of for a mega shopping centre. Basically 2 floors of shopping & a 3rd floor which is a rooftop terrace with restaurants. If you're in need of major retail therapy, 100% head here. Its beautifully laid out, has maps everywhere so you dont get lost. Just Google the place as there's just too many shops to name them.

Review on Oxford Westgate: I visited Oxford Westgate recently, and I was pleased with what I had seen. I think it matches the City of Oxford well, and it has a broad range of shops, anything from cafés to lingerie shops, to a Primark. The main thing that confused me, though, was that the toilets were on the 2nd floor. It was a bit nerve-racking going up the escalators to them, as they're so close to the edge of the wall, but besides that, there is nothing else to say. I would recommend Oxford Westgate to anyone wanting to visit the City of Oxford!

Great and classy looking modern shopping centre. It has a wide variety of shops and restaurants with a large car park. The centre is not fully enclosed, however it has a roof to protect from the rain, however due to not being fully enclosed it was very cold, due to the poor weather outside. Would be five stars however the cost of parking is quite steep and the lack of heating, making it a comfortable shopping experience.

Pretty busy place in weekend. Have plenty of options to walk around shop Hustle free. And there are places to eat good food. Really clean and tidy place. The roof terrace is quite nice as well especially if there is any sunsets.

Nice clean shopping area, suitable for all ages. We didn't shop here, we went straight up to the top to eat at Mowgli's restaurant. The rooftop is a great place, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping space. Very nice and worth a visit.

Visually and spatially, a fantastic shopping mall that avoids the claustrophobic trappings of most shopping centres. Has a decent variety of shops, cafés and restaurants. Parking provisions are somewhat limited but that's to be expected in Oxford.

This is the biggest shopping mall at the heart of Oxford. It is easily accessible by buses and public transports. The main entrance is facing Bonn Square, with other entrances at Castle street, Norfolk street, Old Greyfriars street and also many walkways leading to it. It has two levels with a rooftop dining terrace and a cinema. You can get a great view of Oxford skyline from the rooftop! There are many upmarket boutique shops and retail outlets like John Lewis, Primark and Next. There are many nice cafes and restaurants. There is a foodcourt too.. West gate Social Streetfood. It has a two-storey basement carpark.

I really like this shopping center. It has a wide range of shops, including high street brands. One of the best things about this center is its rooftop terrace. The terrace has a lovely view of the city and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink or a meal.

We have visited Westgate Oxford numerous times but this is the first time I thought of reviewing the centre. The main attraction ti the shopping centre is the vast number of stores and the ease of parking as it's a hassle finding parking in Oxford. Better yet they have around 50 EV parking spots as well which make it so convenient. However, I'd say the parking charges are over the top as it's more expensive than parking at shopping centres in Lonodn. The spacious layout makes navigation easy although it's unavoidable to bump into people at peak hours. The top floor is full of various restaurants catering various cuisines. The cinema complex provides entertainment options for all ages. The center's cleanliness and well-maintained facilities add to the overall positive impression. Despite this, Westgate remains a bustling hub for retail therapy and leisure activities, making it a must-visit destination in Oxford.

Westgate is a good shopping centre. Only issue was the Google directions which initially took us into the zero emission zone. We found the entrance on the second go without using maps. Car park was clean and easy to use.

A dazzling shopping mall with lots of shops. Your pockets are gonna tear if you are planning to bring your kids here😅. The place is always bustling with people and it's very hard to get a parking space for your car. The parking area was full when I visited and we parked our car quite far away from the mall. The washrooms were very clean too. It would be good if the mall has a KFC and McDonald's outlet, that's a major absence in the mall.

Really nice and modern shopping centre. Lots of shops for all and a good selection of restaurants available. Even a gym, cinema and escape hunt. One stop shop activity place. Bright, open and airy. If visiting during winter time, wrap up as it can be a wind tunnel depending where you are.. Amazing views from the roof top terrace. Must visit in Oxford. Great day out.

Westgate Oxford is a big sized shopping centre. It has shopping levels on level 1&2 and the terrace has all the restaurants. This shopping centre is semi open with seating corners around. The collection in the shops are fresh and new. You can easily spend a day shopping in this shopping centre and enjoy the evening meal with a beautiful view of the city from the terrace.

This has to be the jewel in the crown of 21st century Oxford. A shoppers Nirvana, epicurists delight. What more can I add about this fantastic place, light, spacious, airey, ultra modern against what seems to be the stifling, almost overbearing, cold and unwelcoming ancient University buildings.

  • 4/5 V A. 2 years ago on Google
What a refreshing and open shopping centre. It must be cold in the winter but I was surprised to find such a surprising selection of shops outside London under one roof. There is a lots of interesting restaurants and the upper terrace has lovely views.

A very nice shopping center. Has everything food, shops, kids play area and a Cinema. There is lots of parking in the basement including charge points for electric vehicles. A lovely view of Oxford from the roof top of the shopping center. This is where you will find all the resturants as well.

Good location, easily accessible by bus. Has some stores which are rare to find in the UK outside London, such as Uniqlo. The terrace has a great view and some great food options

Great Layout For A Shopping Centre. Needs A Set Of Bathrooms On The 1st Floor as you have to go all the way to the top floor. The Car Park is too small resulting in a huge queue of cars which blocks up the road.

Westgate is like any other central shopping malls in the UK. It's large and spacious and very well laid out. What makes it stand out though is the roof top. The view from there is wonderful and the collection of restaurants for dining is fantastic. There's also a Curzon movie theatre which makes it a perfect place for a day out in Oxford.

  • 5/5 Danny G. 2 years ago on Google
The Westgate is a great place for shopping over several floors. There are a wide variety of shops, with several bars and restaurants on the roof. There is ample parking in the underground car park, and the centre opens up straight into Oxford town center.

Such a modern and openly designed shopping mall I absolutely love it! It’s located in the heart of Oxford city and has private parking (in case full there’s a nearby public parking lot less than 5 minutes away). The shopping mall has a variety of restaurants and clothing stores, you’ll definitely find everything you want in here 💯/💯!

First time visiting since the rebuild. What a change! Sky terrace is wonderful, with lots of planting of various herbs. The levels have views down with open air spaces making it all very fresh. My photos don't do it justice.

Open mall, beautiful in spring summer time but not in winter and rainy day. A lot of range of shop and really nice. Beautiful view from upper floor.

A very modern shopping mall right in the center of Oxford. They have a lot of great shops and it's great that the place is covered up which really helps when it rains. I loved they terrace as you get to enjoy an amazing view of city skyline and they also have a lot of great restaurants up there. Bonus points because they allow dogs in a lot of the stores.

They actually have Miniso, flannels and their noodles in the food court is nice. Overall very strategic area as its very nearby to the other shops and town centre. Convenient car park and relatively new revamped car parking system.
