Absolutely great place for shopping, eating and taking in the views. The underground carport at the Gunwharf is brilliant. As you drive around it at the start of each bay in green lights it tells you how many spaces are available in that row. Each parking bay has a sensor, once you park it goes from green to red, brilliant system.

Very nice shopping centre right next to the sea. Quite a few shops and places to eat. Underground paid car park and the train station is a few minutes walk. Next to the Spinnaker Tower are restaurants with nice view over the harbour.

There are so many famous brands at this Outlet shop. The ground floor is mainly the shopping area while the first floor has cinema theatre and a good selection of restaurants which most of them provide a nice looking to the Spinnaker Tower. It really worths a visit if you are around this area.

A lovely shopping venue. They have all the shops the majority would need or want. It's well laid out and decorated. Great for a day out with friends or families. Or a weekend away. Plenty of places to eat, drink and stop for a coffee. Parking is a bit expensive depending how long your going to spend here. If not the whole day, I would look for cheaper alternatives and take a short walk. I didn't get any photos inside the shopping area unfortunately as I was too busy looking around!

Very beautiful area. Whether walking, visiting a café or restaurant, shopping or a bit of action, there is something for everything. Everything looks very modern and above all very clean. The mall's parking garage is ideally located.

I had a really enjoyable morning walking around Gunwharf Quays with my daughter. I really liked the deck chair and flower arch which was for the 20 year anniversary. The statues and various naval items are great to learn more about. It was a pity it was a bit overcast and grey otherwise we would have gone up the Spinaker Tower too.

Great shopping experience in the heart of Portsmouth and adjacent to the Historic Quay. Mainly designer-type stores selling at discounted prices. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Good parking underneath the shopping centre, although I would recommend the Park & Ride just off the M275 and only about 10 minutes bus ride to the entrance of Gunwharf Quays. Current cost is £4 return to cover car parking and family fare. Extremely frequent bus service so you can shop for hours without running up a huge parking bill.

Ypu need at least 5 hours. Amazing place for all kinds of shopping. Full of branded shops, food, clothes, cinema. Really busy place but safe place for family as security teams are located every 50 yards which is good. Toilets are specifically blown mind. it's so clean and full of fresh lyndit chocolate smell

Beautiful area with plenty of restaurants, cafés , lovely 😍 outlet, pretty girls at the Guess store, grabbed a great 👍 deal, some hot lads to linger the eyes on. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Only flaw is the harsh hysterical yapping of low class females as I walk by but that happens everywhere...

Love Gunwharf Quays, it’s a beautiful setting with a lovely ode to my partner’s navy diving career and lovely shops with fabulous prices.. we aren’t local but we enjoy popping in when we’re in the area. It’s very clean, never over-crowded and there’s something for everyone.

Always happy to get back here. This time extra attraction to see Russian chap who sells sand (True- ordinary sand, very low quality. He doesn't sell kids sandpit sand as its not a great business) ... parked his boat next to the tower to save on hotel 🙄

Really nice shopping centre for a stop off if using the nearby Ports. Parking is fairly cheap in the centre. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. It is a really big place and worth a look just to look at the Spinnaker. I’d say although it is a covered shopping centre it is a outdoor centre really so dress accordingly.

A very pleasant shopping experience. We stopped off here for 1 hour after we got off the ferry back from the Isle of Wight. It was nice and quiet to shop in the evening as the shops were still open but not too many people around. There is a huge range of shops, outlets and restaurants, you could spend all day here if you wanted to. Brilliant views of the quayside and spinnaker Tower too.

There are plenty of parking spaces, less busy when school is in session. Outlet shops seem to have cheaper pricing and sales. Toilet facilities are available and wheelchair accessible. It's about 2 minutes' walk to the spinnaker tower

As a tourist this is where you should spend your shopping day and adventure. There are different designer outlets here, restaurants and chocolate shop (Cadbury). Spinnaker Tower is in close range to enjoy the spectacular view of Portsmouth and more including the navy base. It's just beautiful and well maintained.

An absolute faboulous experience. We picked an extremely good day for it. The whole process of getting to the viewing area went seamlessly. There is a guide in the lift who explained what you are about to experience. Which is wonderful touch. It gets you in the mood. But what you see as the lift opens. Takes your breath away. I do not like heights but the way it was designed did not make you feel uneasy. The exact opposite. I was going from window to window taking lots of photos. There were telescopes with a speaking guide. Going through the sights and its history. This was reasonably priced. I even plucked up the courage to go along the Sky Glass. Again taking photos of 100m down. It was amazing. Even the Sky Garden which I was not too sure about. Was not that bad at all. With the netting overhead it meant you had a breeze blowing. Which gave you the feeling of being in the elements. It was money well spent and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed. Given a rare treat of a stunning sunset. Before we finished by doing a quick look at the shops on Gun Wharf Quays and a bite to eat. We took more photos of the structure outside. It was lit up and showed off the Spinnaker even more. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

The most impressive thing about this shopping centre is the car park! It shows you where spaces are "live"! As soon as someone takes a space, the light above turns red. Turns green when someone leaves a space. (all shopping centres need this technology)! Felt safe leaving the car here. The shopping centre itself is very large, tidy and busy! Lots of shops to walk around and plenty of food places to choose from. The views are beautiful too, when eating and looking out to sea.

Beautiful setting with so much to do in one place. We stayed for 3 days. Holiday Inn gave us perfect position to walk everywhere... no need for the car. The Designer Outlet has plenty of shops, the Quay front has all the bars and restaurants with lovely views over the harbour. The best view, however, is reserved by the Spinnaker Tower. The ultimate ticket at the Old Dockyard gives you return access to all attractions in there for 12months. It is a must... especially HMS Warrior. Try Carluccio's Italian for an authentic meal... lovely experience.

Seems a vibrant place for a day out with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Was actually surprised as a lot of towns seem to be closing down but here it appears very much alive. Also a pleasant place to relax with lovely views of the harbour, Spinnaker Tower and the Isle of Wight in distance.

Beautiful location adjacent to Portsmouth Harbour yet designed for all weathers. Good range of Outlet stores and eateries - love going here.

My wife loved this place. I grew to hate it HAHA. In the end I told her what bar to find me in when she had finished shopping. There are some great bars there. As for the shops, you can get some really good bargains there especially at the end of a season. This is an outlet mall where all the old stock gets sent here, very often up to 70% off. What my wife saved covered the cost of me going to the bar. 😂

My first time to this shopping area and I loved it! It helps that the weather was hot and sunny, so I could enjoy the sea views. There are lots of outlet stores that you don't get in Bournemouth or Southampton, plus a wide range of eateries with outdoor seating and views of the harbour. Much of shopping area is open and is so clean and tidy. There are lots of seating areas and it feels like you could go there just to relax - it's beautifully designed and is a very different shopping experience to indoor malls with horrible lighting. I'm looking forward to returning with more money...

Really enjoyed our visit in the sunshine. Loads of nice eating places n fun to browse the designer outlet shops . Just looking as still expensive to buy. So nice to see all the shops occupied and lots of people about. Harbour boat trip was brilliant n well worth doing

Great variety of high end shops, we visited by boat so used the marina facilities, which were pretty manky and not in keeping with the rest of the place. A stunning skyline and lots of nice places to eat too.

This is an outlet shopping centre and many restaurants are great foods such as Pizza express, Pho, Nando’s…. . You can walk and see the boat around there. We always come back

Gunwharf Quays is every shopper's delight, and there's no better way to cap a visit to the Spinaker Tower than to spend the rest of the day wondering from shops to shops. Most of the major brands are here and offer a sort of discount called "outlet price". The vibrancy and Seafront experience both make a compelling case to visit. And of course it is a great opportunity to have some beautiful pictures taken. The Gunwharf Quays is well maintained in my view, the toilets are quite clean and there's paid parking on site.

Whether it's basking in the sun, indulging in water sports, or simply relishing the coastal breeze, this spot offers the perfect escape for a beachside getaway with friends or family.

I love this place. Clean, spacious, lots of restaurants and parking is easy to find. Lots of outlets, activities for children too. Price is not so bad. Cheaper then the high street. Puma, Calvin klein, Ralph Lauren, Reiss, Clarks, Kurt Geiger etc etc. come in late afternoon for early dinner. Less people.

  • 5/5 Angela T. 9 months ago on Google
Fabulous as usual. Exciting entertainment in the square. Cinema great! Eateries aplenty. Some great deals in the outlets. Parking good but we arrived in the morning.

Great place to see water, boating and shopping. Easily accessible from southern sides of England. Best place for shopping at outlet. Most of the well known brand outlets are there and they are always cheaper than other places and always discounts. The parking is also not that expensive. Go, shop and enjoy!

  • 4/5 David H. 1 year ago on Google
Designer outlet with most the usual names. Some good stuff and some old lines. Plenty of places to eat and clean toilets. Take the opportunity to go up the Spinnaker for the best views in town and take a coffee while up there

A nice place to visit, not my kind of shopping more on the high end side but you have lot’s to see and lot’s to do. Very nice bright fresh shopping centre. Very beautiful and even the parking its nicely decorated. Parking is a bit pricey but very well organized. Good location.

Had a great day with a wonderful view from the shopping centre. Best for the branded ones to get with some sort of discounted outlet price. The view from the first floor to the seaside was awesome, and enjoyed the whole day spent in the place. Easy to access the different stores present inside the place and also easy to reach the car park. It takes mostly the full day to have a look at every shop and finalise the best one among. In addition, the best place for getting gifts for someone especially for the bday or anniversary! Prefer to visit this place at least once as the offers are really great.

Brilliant outing. Bit of shopping. Bit of eating. Bit of sightseeing. Cant complain. Love Portsmouth. Upmarket shops and absolutely heaving when we were there. I'd recommend if you're looking for something different. There is life outside London- a better life 😜
