Unfortunately the staff need better training, it's like they're looking for a fight with customers and it makes the experience rather unpleasant. I went to the try on some items and was blatantly ignored whilst staff continued chatting to the point that the male staff member (tall, white male, thick dark brown beard) didn't even turn to look at me. The queues are always really long and the store becomes extremely messy, overall it's the aggressive and rude staff that are the worst feature in this branch. I would avoid this store

I have been here twice - click and collect. Waited for 10 mins at the pick up point to see if someone comes to attend ? A guy with grey hair came around and I had to ask him if he can give me my parcel/order - both times same guy. Best part about his attitude is each time i felt he is doing me a favour. After 2nd time having same experience of insensitive attitude - i stopped bothering myself from order at the store. I prefer to pay instead for home delivery.

If I could give no stars I would... I went into the store to return trousers that had a zip that was faulty. I explained I have had this problem before and the manager with the bald head turned to me and said maybe the style doesn't fit you properly that's why you're having problems... I am disgusted. I felt humiliated and shocked that he was so passive aggressive and rude and seemed to have enjoyed the comment he made to me.

Had amazing customer service by a young gentleman in the menswear department today, for the first time in zara I have received good service and he actually made sure I was satisfied with my service. A young arab looking guy at the tills, I belive he smelt nice and had excellent service and I can see a bright future ahead for him!

I go to this store only to collect my orders as it's a panic manic situation to get through till for anything. Thankful they finally have self service checkout now which makes the queues slightly shorter for returns. Also the choices we have in this store is not as varied as we find in central London ones or even online ones I never thought I would review but having looked at all the reviews I'm compelled to share my experience too. The security does look at you as though you're stealing although you've just left the till or just come from lower ground floor from collecting your order. Certainly feels racial because I notice this every single time while it doesn't seem to happen to others. Coming to the staff, the man at lower ground floor who is assigned to handle collections always looks obnoxious, looks down everytime I arrive there although he clearly knows and can see the Zara collection page on my phone screen. He acts as if I'm being extremely rude by taking his time away from his life to do me a favour to give me my parcel. It's so unpleasant every single time

Very clean, well presented store.ightong was very bright, giving it that high end feel. Staff seemed over busy though so wouldn't have found it easy to get help and store was quite messy but there was a fairly good range.

Brilliant to see and use the self service tills. Thanks to a lovely customer who showed me how to use the service. Very simple once shown,which then helped me to show another customer how to use. .Pop all of your items into the compartment to the right all together,it's a deep enough space .pick a bag .select your items on the screen. .pay with your card payment .Then remove security alarms from garment, placing the alarm and pins where instructed .Don't forget your receipt! Great experience.

Very rude staff today at the children department at Croydon (16/04/23)! Unfortunately I was in a hurry and didnt have time to rise the issue with manager or another member of staff; the way this member of staff spoke to children was very unacceptable. Will definitely not be shopping there with this attitude from staff!

One of the worst Zara’s in London, the staffs are very rude and unprofessional especially the managers. I find the staffs very unapproachable and unfriendly especially during the sales period!!! Every time I go in there I get anxious!! Never a good experience!!! Zara should have a mystery shopper visit Zara Croydon especially during the sales period!!! You will be so shock!!! The security guys are great, more helpful than the staffs.

Absolutely disgusting customer service , I had to return some shorts because they didn't fit. I asked for an exchange and was told that there was stock in my size available in the stock room...when I asked the hijab wearing girl to help me she gave me so attitude as if I asking for a lot. If you don't like your job get an education and find a better one that you don't have to hate everyday smh

Horrible atmosphere and even worse customer service in Zara in Croydon . I was ignored by staff in changing room as I smiled at one lady whilst they talked so I decided to go in with out a number token.. the lady who ignored me gave me a weird look as I walked in but if she hasn’t ignored me I could have got a number tag and To make it worse as I was leaving changing rooms other customers were acknowledged and given one. Customer service is bad and no email that works..I do try and avoid this store but desperately needed something today and had a bad experience which I’m not surprised about

Shocking customer service. Had to go to this branch as it’s the closest to my house but I try to avoid it as much as I can. From the fitting room until the till just employees with miserable faces, no even a thank you at the end of the service! I don’t expect anyone to be smiling at me all the time or be all bubbly, but at least manners should be delivered. You work with customers, the first thing you should focus is, at least, an acceptable customer service.

I went to Zara this afternoon and had to deal with an incredibly rude manager. Having been a regular Zara customer for many years, I tried to return a top never tried on due to a small make up stain (have done this in countless occasions no issues) When tried to return she said that this was impossible and asked a few times if I really did not wear the top- with all labels still on, she kept questioning! Luckily managed to speak to customer services over the phone and they returned it no problems within minutes, however the money will take longer to be processed and had to find a delivery point instead. Terrible customer service at the shop.

Zara was beautiful, as asual. Beautiful clothes , handbags, children 's clothing . Several items I wanted and I purchased only two . Going back for the rest soon. Love, love, love!!!!

i went into zara centrale in croydon at 6:30 pm i tried on the clothes and i really like a shirt. But unfortunately that shirt has been ripped off and dirty, so I asked a staff member in front of the fitting room to check if there are any new ones. she didn't check and said no and didn't look at the customer but just dialed the phone with a very disrespectful attitude. I was very disappointed because I entered Zara for the first time and met such an employee

Rarely shop here as most of it's clothes do not appeal to me but occasionally there is something for me and definitely love their perfumes etc. Brought a lovely casual coat for a reasonable £30. Very happy with it. Brought during the sales but this wasn't on sale. Sales here are mad but I think you get a good reduction...you just need to be patient to sift through everything. Thankgod they have self serve tills because there was a good 20-30 minute wait to be served. I realised after 15 minutes I could try to use self serve tills which was not largely being used (I think alot of the customers wanted to do exchanges). The self serve made a big difference. There are 3 self serve tills and there really easy to use. We were done in a minute. Felt good to walk past the customers still waiting in the que😛 friendly staff too

If I can give a zero I would… I bought a pair of shoes for my son, and unfortunately we lost the receipt. My son tried the shoes inside the house and removed the tag obviously thinking he was going to keep them. After a while he said that the shoes were really painful and he couldn’t wear it. Shop wasn’t interested in seeing my credit card movement for the purchase with price and name of the shop, they said they needed the receipt. I’ve contacted for days customer service, and I spoke with 10 different people, first no receipt was found, second wrong receipt was sent to me, third I waited and waited… anyway after nearly one month from the actual purchase I received the receipt. Went to the shop and the lady asked me: why did you take away the tag…?? I felt this was very rude as a child would always remove tag to put on shoes… anyway all this to say that I’ve banned myself from this store for the unprofessional way of dealing with refunds and queries. BYE BYE ZARA

Ridiculous I had to wait until a costumer clear over 15 pcs of cloths then the cashier had to pack them back before she attended to us then they to chit chat amongst themselves while the line extended longerrrrrrr. Y’all n ed to employ more people to assist the cashier with returns or just a toll for returns ONLYYYYYYYY . 1rh in a line to cash 1 items is disturbing 🫤

Second Zara I've visited and does every store have a policy where they have to be an absolute mess? If you can't find something then its probably on the floor buried under a pile of other stuff. There's no sense of organization, just complete chaos. Its either the staff not being attentive to cleaning up or the general public not putting items back which isnt that hard to do. Wish I had taken photos to attach to this review tbh. Okay, my rant is over.

soooo messy. if you’re looking for an item, don’t bother looking for it on the racks and shelves, it will most likely be on the floor. i like zara as a clothing brand but this probably has to be the least organised zara store.

Small store, not much choice but laid across 3 floors. They do have a kids section on the top floor. Limited staff when I visited and the store wasn't busy.

Zara has alot of clothing but none of them suit me or my shape. It's not a shop for my age group and attracts a niche select few.

Terrible service! I was robbed in this store, the security did nothing! My documents and phone were stolen, they did not call the police or check the surveillance cameras. Absolutely nothing!!! Fire your security and clueless managers. I am a citizen of another country and you have tarnished the face of your country with your inaction!

Rude and abrupt staff. There should be changing rooms that can be used on all levels so you don't have to keep going up and down the escalators to try on clothing. Understaffed shop so queues even during really quiet times were so long. Not a pleasant shopping experience. Go to Kingston or Oxford Street instead!

went in to the menswear section there were about 4 different pairs of jeans a few jumpers sparsly laid out no idea where all the products are that they sell on their website but they are not present in this store

Very very long queue, no testers for perfume and poor staff member cannot find manager to authorise to open bottle so you can smell before you buy. No point in going here if you expect quick and easy experience avoid if you can

Good place for family clothing in Croydon

Whenever I go to Zara I usually find something I really like. The quality is good and the prices are reasonable. The stock is updated regularly and the online purchasing is easy too.

Very rude staff . After the racial targeting I received in this Zara I will not be going to this branch anymore. Both the woman and the security guard need proper training on manners , as they clearly lack basic levels of professionalism .

Racial targeting. Security guard jumps in front of door every time i picked an item. If weren't in rush would just quit buying anything. Waited an hour at till. After payment i asked security what made him react like that despite 10's other people browsing . No answer could get . Manager says he's only doing his job .

How come there's still very bad customer service in this develop country. The girl with big curly hair was so rude and gave me all the coins she got for the change. She managed to count every 1p for £20.

Unlike most stores, never buy a piece of clothing without trying it on. Sizing is rubbish. Otherwise, store is alright with fairly good selection
