Waited over 45 minutes before being served to buy a car seat for the child. They served time wasters that arrived after us before us. 2 Staff on the floor on a Saturday, the busiest day for trading. Staff were complaining of breaks being 2 hours late. Simply disorganised for such a great store. Would have been better off ordering online where we could have bought the seat much cheaper.

Unhelpful staff and poor customer service. I was waiting for 35 minutes to get help with an item I wanted to buy. every member of staff that I managed to speak to, asking for help, rather rudely said they don’t work in that section and didn’t bother to direct me to someone who could help.

Decided to have some lunch at The Place to Eat. There were only two people in front of me, but I've noticed that the hot food counter is usually slow with their service. It's like an extremely snail pace, don't know why, I've heard other customers in the queue comment on this too. There's been times in the past where I've had to wait 30 mins when there are two people serving... Pretty annoying. Aside from that, the soup and roll was nice, staff seemed polite and accommodating enough. Just wish they'd take note of the slowness of service at this particular counter. The staff seem to only know the slow pace of delivering a service. Toilets are available including disabled toilets. Just need leave the restaurant and walk around the corner. Noticed a fancy new hand dryer there too... Great investment, very hygienic... Still like the staff who clear up, very friendly and poilite. Thank you

Worst experience. If you are wearing good cloths and stylish then only they will give you attention. I was waiting for 15 mins to suggest me but all the sales women ignored me. Specially Bobby brown and Dior didn't even looked at me. I am never ever coming here again.

Nice shopping 🛍 a lots of festive stuff especially for Christmas 🎅 price are reasonable. You can buy for your whole family any gift 🎁 and Christmas presents for any age. You can treat yourself 🧖‍♀️ and your family and home 🏡 for this new year. Parking space has enough bays. Number of tiles are ok and you don’t need to wait for payment. Most of sales advisers are polite, nice and friendly and helpful, I recommend for Londoner to go and visit John Lewis in Brent Cross shopping 🛍 center,

Bad customer service experience at John Lewis Brent Cross shopping centre. My daughter received a buggy as a gift 1 year ago and the buggy became faulty. My daughter had the online receipt but because the receipt wasn't under her name, the way the Manager and the salesman looked at her and me was so suspicious, like she is a thief. Like we are thieves. They tried to be polite but the way their looked at my daughter and I said it all. It made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. They asked for the friend that bought the buggy to be present in order to exchange it because of the staff discount that was applied at the time. We are so disappointed and discusted by the attitude of the staffs. Your staffs need more training.

Went into The Place To Eat. I understand you can’t bring outside food. I haven’t even sat down yet, yet the old lady working there with the red lipstick had a mouthful to say about my sealed food box that i haven’t even opened. Next time if you’re going to talk down on people with such rudeness, make sure you wipe your lipstick off your teeth. Looking like you killed half the meat with your teeth and served the meal to customers.

Bad experience. Came here from Westfield, where the employee "double checked", the items are available in Brent Cross. Wasted over an hour to get there, but the item was not available. That's OK. It can happen. But I have asked an employee to correct this issue for the other customers. 2 days later no change to the stock available which still shows 2 in stock but not really there. They don't care. Shame.

Very poor dishwasher delivery service. I paid for installation and collection of a new dishwasher. The guys who turned up, weren't experienced enough to sort out normal issues. They arrived at 3pm and were in a hurry to leave as they'd been asked to step in as replacement engineers. This is my 1st large purchase from JL and I only purchased from John Lewis based on their reputation but I'm very disappointed. Im now left with a dishwasher u cant use!! Never again!!!

Came for The Freshly Cooked to order Breakfast that we used to have at The Place To Eat. So disappointed to find that the set up has changed. Items are precooked and displayed. The Dining room was now more like a canteen, the food itself was not what we expected. Teas was good but the rest was poor.

Awful! Was refused an exchange even though the item of clothing had all the tags intact! All I wanted to do was change to a larger size!!! They refused to even look at my item and said NO exchange without a receipt! Since when has this changed ? I have been a customer for years and never had any issues !! Rude staff that were unwilling to help! Last time I will be going to the Brent x store … FYI (children’s dept on 27/12/23, I went to the till at around 10.05am) you might want to teach your employees how to speak to customers as they were extremely rude!! So much for customer service !!

Visited Brent Cross John Lewis and was assisted by Amy on Level 1 in the Christmas Section. Was an amazingly helpful and knowledgeable Team member. Outstanding customer service and a huge credit to the John Lewis Brand. Would highly recommend her to help with all your needs and requirements. What an asset to them she is. Thanks Gav

I just bought make up for my wedding from Laura Mercier and had the most amazing make up artist helping my mother and I. Holly was fantastic; so helpful and patient with us. My skin has never looked better and I can’t wait to try what we bought. Thank you so much Holly!

Unpleasant customer service at Brent Cross John Lewis, women department. Returning a dress I bought online while away on holiday. Wrong size, so I needed to return when I got back from holiday. Apparently, the return policy is 35 days; I was two days late. I explained I was on holiday, just came back, the dress doesn't fit,I can't wear it. The sales assistant was just unpleasant. It made me feel uneasy; I won't be buying from John Lewis online again.

We had an appointment with the nursery team and it was wonderful. Really helped us decide on what we wanted and needed. We didn’t feel pressured to buy on the day but left with a thorough a list and ended up purchasing a few weeks later. That team have also been a great help since when I contacted them with questions. Can’t recommend this service enough.

Great place with great staff. We went thinking we might look for things and didn’t plan to buy. However considering the dedication of the staff specially Elton in baby section who gave us due Time and space explaining all details of the product. Well done guys, really impressed with the professionalism.

Having visited this store twice over the last few weeks, I was served by a lady named Liz at the jewellery counter. I can say without a doubt that Liz has exceptional customer service skills. She was patient in allowing me to assess and select the right gift. She went out of her way to find the perfect items for me and offer alternatives after understanding my criteria. When I returned to the store (to return a gift item) another staff member initially advised me that i couldn't return it without a receipt ( I'd forgotten it at home). Liz then came on the shop floor and I asked her for help and she asked if I had my myjohnlewis account on my phone, to which I replied yes, and she helped me locate my instore receipt on my phone saving me from a wasted journey. If all staff could be a bit more like Liz, shopping experiences would be so great! Thank you Liz for making this John Lewis store a better customer experience.

I ordered some Apple Airpods on 16 February 2023. Delivery was agreed to be within 5 days. The order was Order 391223243 to be sent via Royal Mail. Despite contacting John Lewis customer service (James and Georgina), I still have not received the product. Royal Mail claimed to have delivered the product then admitted that they had not. They then failed to redeliver when requested. John Lewis said that I should walk the Royal Mail depot to collect. This was not part of the delivery deal and it is difficult for me to do this. John Lewis offered no alternative plan and merely left me to rearrange plans to go and collect. I wasn't being awkward - it is genuinely difficult for me to collect from the depot. There is so much more John Lewis could have done.

A great big store set out over a few floors. My daughter was buying a TV and she found what she was looking for straight away. The staff were fairly helpful but all greeted us with a smile. The queue to pay was rather slow but there was only 1 girl behind the till. She was very helpful and pleasant. There are lifts, escalators and stairs to each floor, so it is easier for wheelchair/ prams etc to reach each floor. A wonderful store, helpful staff and a large variety of products. Totally recommend. ✨

I was in desperate need of a fridge, as mine had broken down in the middle of a heatwave. For a Saturday, there were only 2 staff on duty. The wait was inevitable, but in the end I was served by the lovely Anita. ( please forgive me if the name is wrong, but she was fabulous, and made me forget the wait) This lady was full of information and is what John Lewis used to be about. Great customer service.

I went just a couple days after boxing day to get a watch replaced that I had received with minor damage via online delivery. First of all the customer support folks online were very helpful, as they allowed me to get a replacement in person locally since replacements weren't available online. Secondly the customer service in-store was very good. The staff were clearly very busy with it being just after Christmas. The lady in the jewellery and watch section who helped was very patient, and worked hard to let me get a replacement even though the computer system wasn't cooperating at first. She also was very good at explaining what she was doing, why it was taking longer than usual, and what I could expect as an outcome. In the end I had to get a refund on my first one and buy another watch, which was fine by me as I got a perfectly undamaged one. I certainly would recommend going here based on my experience.

Can be a bit hit and miss in regards to stock, what you see if what you get, in need of modernisation, especially the children's area, but the staff in that area are friendly, efficient and helpful. Concession staff are not good at all, and the store could use a good clean. The cafe staff are really nice

Bought a fridge and paid a little extra for next day delivery. Fridge arrived on time and in one piece, delivery boys unpacked it and put into the kitchen without scratching or denting anything. What else can you ask for?! Great service!

I just want to say how grateful I was when I exchanged a Christmas present/Men’s Jersey top for a gift card. Lovely jacket but it didn’t fit. This was was last year, and the purchase of Jacket was made well before Christmas. I also had the gift receipt. So thankful to member of staff called Tonny, who understood the situation and allowed the exchange with no questions asked. Surely, I went back to shop and spent more… Great costumer services!

I was served by an exceptional Miele representative in the washing machine department called James! I had quite a lot of knowledge already but he was superb in giving me advice on the technical differences between the appliances. He was also great thinking on his feet to get to the bottom of issues I brought up and gave solid advice. You rarely get real customer service these days so I appreciated the time he gave to me. If you’re reading this thanks mate!

My go to shop for reliable and fair customer service, great selection of home furnishings and helpful staff. I bought Super King bed linen and am very happy with the quality. Lovely staff and not too busy on a Friday afternoon. The siberian goose down duvet and pillows were on special offer clearance with net proceeds being donated to British Red Cross's Ukraine Crisis Appeal. I will remain a loyal customer.
