What The Pitta is an absolute must-try gem! Trust me, every time I find myself in London, a quick pit stop at What The Pitta is an essential part of my itinerary. The flavors, the experience – it's beyond description. I wholeheartedly, with sheer excitement, recommend this place. No second thoughts needed, just go for it. Your taste buds and your cravings will thank you!

I am lucky enough to have eaten kebabs in almost every continent. This was up there. Our drizzly night was blown away by the incredibly succulent...whatever it's made of...pefectly crisp salads and freshly made pita bread. Service with a smile and reasonably priced. Will be visiting again x

Super tasty vegan food! My non-vegetarian partner loved the kabab-style meat. Great falafel too, which is so hard to find in London!! Would love to come back often! Prices are decent for the area but couldn't afford to go regularly. Lovely staff too!

Firstly I'm not a Vegan, but I absolutely loved what the pitta. Simply put it this is vegan kebab it's not healthy but I can reassure you it's most likely better than what your local kebab shop would serve you 😉 The small menu offers a small range, deep fried satin, falafel and vfc (vegan fried chicken) burger, all served with fresh salad and chips. Personally I recommend the snack boxes over the wraps. You can eat in here or takeaway, it's fast food , delicious and great option for vegans

The vegan wife says to give this place 5 stars. She said everything tasted good, humongous portions, the workers were nice. She had the doner wrap, onion rings, and biscuit/biscoff cheesecake.

Not sure where to start. I've only been to the What The Pitta Shoreditch branch before which was a great experience. Was hoping for the same here BUT. Honestly it's terrible. It feels like a cheap rip-off of the original Box Park one. Miserable, uninterested staff. Mess is worse than a local kebab shop at 3am on a Saturday night. Gyros kebab was dripping with water throughout. Food bland. Not great location. Won't be back to this branch for sure.

Great food. Had a nice conversation with a customer too. Peace and all that. We'll be back. Lovely grub! Shame the staff were not all wearing face masks, or this would be 5 star.

Hearty, Vegan Take Away food with so many ways of putting the food together. Lovely, Warm Staff. Ben & Jerry's Vegan Ice Cream. Loads of options. Order pick up ahead, won't need to wait 10mins.

I’m not really the donor kebab-type-of-guy but as I was in the neighbourhood I thought I would give this place a try. The staff was very good in walking me through the choices. The vegan rap was, to my surprise, very good. My only concern was that the staff seem to handle money and also food without washing their hands. Perhaps a tad and unhygienic but as I said the food was good.

Definitely best Döner in town. Staff is so customer friendly, nice and polite and really cares to meet your every desire. Excellent service and I even got a free Baklava to eat on my journey home. Good tasty vegan food is really difficult to find and this amazing place offers truly 5 star quality combined with a homely positive atmosphere. An absolute must!

Had a really nice vegan doner kebab and vegan chickn gyros with a side of waffle fries. Value for money excellent. Some indoor seating designed to eat and go. There is a customer toilet. Wish we had one closer. Good value for money. They do a meal deal which Inc the doner, fries and a drink for £12.99. The second gyros we had by itself. Came to £21 for us both. All freshly made there, even the bread. Also do loaded fries and burgers. They were fairly busy when we visited Saturday 7pm.

Omg.... I stumbled upon what the Pitta when on a course in Camden, so glad I did. I now go every time I have the course, it's incredible. Obviously the biggest selling point is its all cruelty free delicious food, having this many vegan options is a treat. But even if you're not vegan, put that aside and try it. The food is tasty, full of flavour and filling. You won't regret trying this fine establishment. The staff, especially the manager are super friendly

These are huge!! Sorry for weird photo but had to show the scale in my hand. Bought the vegan kebab with the whipped feta dip on UberEats and oh my gosh it hits the spot. There's more than one vegan food spot in Camden that sadly doesn't deserve their success, but this gives me hope. Will be visiting the shop very soon.

Great place for delicious food at good value. I went with a large group and service was fast. I ordered the Chkn gyros wrap which was delicious! Can mix up the sauces and add which vegetables you like from the selection. Also ordered the baklava (was kindly told the cheesecake would take 1 hour to thaw so I selected otherwise)...so lush and loved the hint of rose. Last time I tried the falafel which were also very tasty! We ate inside - there is wall side seating available on high stools if eating in.

This place is amazing!!! Great food! And all vegan! Wish they had more seating but if you go get the doner wrap or the chip box... both are amazing. When we visit London we come here every time!!! It's so good 👍

Came here to try the festive gyro. Staff were friendly when taking my order but I was disappointed they had already run out of waffle fries by 1pm on a week day. There was also a fairly long wait for my food (15-20 minutes) which they didn't mention. The gyro had a nice chicken substitute in it, but it was cold by the time I got it and the gyro was mostly cabbage and fries. I got the gyro as a meal with paprika fries (since there were no waffle fries). They came as a generous portion, were very hot and had a good flavour to them. I've been here once before and the food was hot and delicious, so maybe I was just unlucky with the gyro this time.

The best vegan gyro I've ever had. They were able to switch out some of the ingredients for me and it was so delicious it left me wanting more. 10/10 would come back! Only thing was the seating area, could be more comfortable.

We had a little hunger so we stopped at this place because all the reviews looked good. And what can I say: i can agree 100 percent with everything!! It's a cute little nice location with very friendly staff! The range of the products might seem low but I promise everything on the menu is soooo delicious!! And the price is so good,we paid 12 pounds for each of us. And after we finished our meal we had to take some food to go! I was especially impressed with the vegan gyros and the freaking good garlic sauce!!! Omg the Sause is everything!! The fries may look "cheap" but the taste is unbelievably good!! The only thing that bothers me a little bit ( but that is complaining at a hiiiigh level) is that the range of drinks was quite low and a little bit less exciting, they have 1 or 2 drinks, that looked interesting but the rest was a bit boring. Usually the vegan food spots always have such crazy drinks. But it is such a low complaint from my side!!

Got the Doner Wrap and it was AMAZING. And the staff was super nice. This is my new must stop food place in London! Great taste- Back when I lived here and ate meat Cafe Helen was my must stop. It is definitely What the Pitta now. so good!

This place used to be top tier. Unfortunately they've stopped the main meal deal. A kebab, chips & drink will now run you about £18. Which is ludicrously priced. They have added and extra meat option which will take the vegan donor to the size it used to be. This was my favourite vegan place to visit if I was ever in Camden but I think over the years they've lost their way. Still worth it to try for your first time as it is delicious.

I ordered on UberEats and I’m so surprised at all the 5* reviews because my meal was so bad. The döner kebab was way too salty and had no flavour other than intense saltiness. Waffle chips also lacked flavour, but they were saved by the garlic sauce. The worst part was the soggy, flavourless falafel and chunky, runny hummus. Please improve your takeaway orders, especially as the prices indicate much higher quality!!

I used to eat there when I lived in London 3 years ago... Let me tell you it changed my life, I think about it everyday, sometimes I think of coming to London just to eat their doner chip box !!!!! Please open in Paris <3

Very good vegan food. Portions are good and it is not very expensive as it is the case with other vegan places. It didn't feel artificial or loaded with salt and additives. What caught my attention was the fact they make the pitta fresh on the spot for you. It can get busy though so keep it in mind when ordering.

I'm no vegan and I've been a chef 25+ years and the food at this place is so damn delicious, highly recommended.

Not bad for a vegan kebab alternative. But it's overly salty and has a weird aftertaste (not unusual for meat alternatives). Nicely presented and staff were clvery friendly helpful. Was very expensive however (13.50 for a meal deal).

I am not vegan but these guys know how to prepare an all-around delicious plate. Nice little place, variety on "meats" and drinks. Reasonable prices for the food. Would return here for sure.

Great food and nice staff. Could have been a little better set up with more sauces and sides but everything that was included was so good. Took a plate of döner.

Whether you eat it hot, cold, standing or sitting in the restaurant… What the Pitta is the best wrap we ate! Highly recommended 🤤

Beyond impressed. Camden has a few very good veggie/vegan outlets but this one might just be the best. Wonderful flavours, fresh, juicy, spicy- just perfect. 10/10. I had the doner gyros which comes with chips inside- the chips were also quite above average. Also, the staff is kind and helpful. One of the best fast food options I’ve had in recent years, vegan or otherwise. Highly recommended

Great service and really delicious food. I went on a Monday when it's 50% off and took full advantage! Left there well and truly stuffed, but very happy 😊

I have tried the Doner. The size was pretty big, nice stuffing and sauces. The vegan meat itself was alright. The price was quite high (£9.50).

Absolutely amazing menu, I came here with my partner for a day out and as a non-vegan he agreed these were without a doubt the best kebabs we had ever tasted! Such a great all-vegan restaurant which you should definitely go to if you visit Camden! Thank you for bringing more sustainable and delicious vegan-friendly options to the area! 💚💜🌱

We've only visited once, but our food was really good. We both ordered a Chicken Gyro with the works. It was very nice. There isn't really an eat in atmosphere but worth ordering out.

  • 5/5 Kari M. 2 years ago on Google
Very good. Love the vegan doner. Takes me a couple meal times to finish it so it is great filling food. Fresh gyro wrap is so delicious! Gets messy so napkins a must!

Finally a vegan kebap to keep away from your old cravings and where you don't have to be worried about not being vegan. I had doner with fries. Very fulfilling and nice taste. Nice staff. I recommend to vegan and non vegan to come and try it.

  • 3/5 Pete P. 2 years ago on Google
I eat healthily, I'm not a vegan but i do like vegan alternatives. The food here, make no mistake, is fast food. The doner i had was very tasty but it was deep fried. This is not a healthy alternative. A meat rotisserie doner would actually be much healthier. The pitta it came with had a strange flavour, like old yogurt, so i couldn't eat it. The fries were very good. The server wasn't rude, but sort of, get on with your order. I will try the burger next time if it is not deep fried.

Best vegan or any kebab I had. Also, sick tunes.
