Booked with 3 friends for a total of 4 people. We were recommended that each of us orders about 3 dishes small/medium per person. We ordered a small plate or two and then all medium dishes including the sides. Starting with the atmosphere, this was more of a quiet date vibe, as opposed to I'll have a meal with some friends and chat. I noticed some people may have been disturbed by us talking in a relatively normal volume (sorry 😅). The flat iron steak was cooked medium by default and was paired excellently with their sauce and the smoked potatoes side. Likewise for the lamb, a delicious dish that was moist and pulled apart like butter. Highly recommended as center dishes so everyone can have a bite. The rest of the dishes were tasty but not too noteworthy. The only thing to mention is that the breads (at least the corn bread) are of small portions. We ordered one corn bread as it was mentioned this was not considered a full dish, hence assumed it would come for the whole table, but a single slice came. Shout Out to Asyak who was our server with a smile, keep it up! The staff can make or break a restaurant experience.

Food is really good and the concept to share within the table is nice! Best choices were the hommus, the lamb and desserts, specially the chocolate mousse and the mango one!

Short, fresh, Mediterranean menu. Came here for Women's Day lunch and loved it. I recommend their fantastic aubergine starter and a vegetarian kofte, with Turkish coffee to finish off. Beautiful interior with lots of plants and attentive staff. It's a dog friendly place! Tip: salad portions are quite large!

I've probably been back here the most compared to any other restaurants in London so far. It's quite close to work and is a great lunch spot. Consistency is key - I've been to this restaurant three times! The first was for brunch with the hubby and a second and third time with coworkers. I always leave this place feeling full, healthy, and happy! The food is delicious and perfectly cooked - the grilled chicken was moist and cooked to perfection, and the salads/sides are perfectly seasoned! This place has been busy every time I've been here, but we always managed to get a spot without waiting or an rsvp. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out! I'll be back!

Amazing place! Came here for my partner’s birthday and the food was delicious, we went for a la carte but the tasting menu was super tempting. The flavours and textures went so well together. Def recommend the salmon, lamb, fried cauliflower and hummus!

Fantastic food, atmosphere and staff. Chicken was tender and had great flavor. Zucchini was flavorful. Lamb pizza had wonderful flavor and the fries with aloi was my favorite. Highly recommend.

Food is delicious. Lots of different flavours. Burnt aubergine is like babaganoush. Yum! The mango baklava is nice but it's got way too much mascarpone in my opinion. Quite expensive for every day lunch but nice as a treat every now and then. I will definitely be back for breakfast to try the Shakshuka.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants around East London. Apart the service is professional, friendly and know about the dishes. A good wines options as well. Good value for the price

The atmosphere and service was good and we got a table right away. The food was served quite fast. The food was amazing. Filled with flavor and the portion size was just right. The menu had something for the whole group, both the vegetarians and those with gluten allergies.

The place was, unsurprisingly, packed for brunch on a Sunday, so booking ahead was a good idea. Food was delicious with loads of interesting sweet and savoury options. Would be happy to return to try more of them and recommend as a lovely place to brunch. Prices about standard for London. Some of the seating was a little dense so could feel uncomfortably close to neighbouring tables if you are not seated in the middle.

Great food and the best thing is that it's reasonably priced. We were lucky to get a seat for 4 after walking in. Def suggest booking in advance. 1 page menu so easy to keep things simple, the rose glass and the Martini complimented the choices of food. Will def be taking friends. Note 12.5% service charge included in the bill prior to asking.

This is my local place for breakfast/lunch although they do serve dinner as well but haven’t tried it yet. It can get pretty busy on weekend so do book in advance. Food is lovely. My favourite is the lamb meatball dish which you can get after 12. Do try the mango baklava for dessert, I’ve not seen anywhere serving this so it’s quite unique and not heavy at all. Perfect to end the meal. The interior is beautiful and cosy. Service wise I’d say is average but fast.

Great ambiance and decor. Food was pretty good - do note that they do a 'small plates' concept. Taste and quality was executed very well, albeit portions were a little small for my liking. Would also be nice if the hummus came with bread. Service was very good - just a minor miscommunication regarding the sides, but the staff fixed it up for us very promptly. Overall, would recommend!

Highly recommended ! I like that this place offers a tasty balanced diet - the salads and courgette are so tasty with different layers of flavour. The fish dish is very fresh and the use of vinegar brings the best flavour.

We have been coming to amber ever since it opened a few years ago and every time we come we have a fantastic experience. Most of the time we have been for brunch, occasionally doing the boozy brunch. Both are excellent. Dinner as a must though. The food really is incredible and the lamb shoulder is a must. We love the decoration and atmosphere with lots of bamboo and plants. Highly recommend.

Good experience. We've ordered the cauliflower with tabouleh and carrots, the kofte, the aron dip and the ginger shot. We also had the mango baklava. Everything was tasty and the portions were good enough. The ginger shot was not great. The atmosphere of the area was great and its location perfect. Would visit again to try some of the other dishes as well.

We went there for lunch on a weekday. There were plenty of tables. The food in general was good, the plating was nice too. The service was really good. Totally recommended when you're around. We ordered three mains and two salads. We ordered meat balls, grilled chicken and kofte. The kofte looked nice, however it was cold and I preferred a warm kofte. In any case the taste was not bad. Their desserts look good too. There were only three options of cake, sadly we didn't have time to try them. They serve Monmouth Coffee here, which is great!!

Delicious! Very pretty food, lovely decor and service. Had the shakshuka and burnt aubergine plates. Food arrived quickly and my goodness the egg yolks were so deep orange and poached to perfection 👏🏼👏🏼

This is not allergy friendly restaurant, I had sesame allergies and informed our host, they gave me their usual legal disclaimer. And I took my pill just in case after I heard that disclaimer. And it happens that form my first bite I ate something with sesame in it and ruined my night and the other people who were with me. Nevertheless, the people who were with me were saying this was good food, but unfortunately I wasn't able to eat or enjoy anything once I ate something with sesame in it, and I rushed them to leave because I really needed to rest. It wasn't really great experience for me. I'm very careful about my allergies, and always keep my pills with me, and I usually let others eat before me to inform me if I should avoid it or not. - I'd evaluate the cleanness and hygiene 2/5.

Amazing food!! . Fast service. Staff can smile more and give customers a more welcome feeling but they must have been tired. Had lots of dishes and they all been delicious. Will come back for sure.

Food is always good every time we go. Everything is fresh and tasty. Recommend the hummus and corn bread, and anything with Aubergine. Crispy chicken was soooo good! The only thing is we found out two extra items added to our bill although we didn’t order them.

I brought this to the staff's attention, they apologized for the oversight and promptly adjusted the bill. While the overcharge was rectified without much hassle, it did slightly affect my overall impression of the dining experience. Nonetheless, the flavorful dishes and the restaurant's responsive handling of the situation still make it a place I would recommend to others. It's worth considering for those who appreciate unique culinary combinations and a willingness to address any issues that may arise.

Wow, just wow. The food is divine, the service was excellent and the ambience of the restaurant was just perfect - we had a lovely time. They recommend a dish or two from each section of the menu as ideal for two. Make sure you chose the lamb shoulder, it was incredible! Be sure to leave some room for the Baklava! A cafe with a chic setting serving Mediterranean inspired numbers. The dishes were beautifully presented with the right combination of colors and flavors. Service was impeccable. Expect a lot of yogurt, pickled onions with hints of Mediterranean spices. Would have been nice if they included a side of pilaf rice for order to go with some of the stronger flavored dishes.

The dishes at this restaurant don't match the pictures, and the fish we saw on Google Maps isn't on the menu. So, friends planning to dine here, please take note. Additionally, their 'big plate' is overpriced and literally just a large plate with very little food. This restaurant offers poor value for money. Also, the lamb has a strong taste, so friends who dislike that flavor should avoid ordering it. I rarely write reviews after dining, but the service at this restaurant was exceptionally poor. A female server had a sour expression the whole time, as if I owed her two million pounds. Moreover, as soon as we finished eating, she rushed to clear the table, as if she wanted us gone. We've dined in Scotland a few days ago and at a Malaysian restaurant in London yesterday, and this restaurant has by far the worst service. So it really doesn’t deserve the 12% service fare. I don't understand how it has such high ratings.

After consulting Google Maps ratings, we chose this restaurant, but the experience left us deeply regretful. The lady who welcomed us wore a blue shirt and maintained a sour expression throughout. When serving, she practically threw the dishes at our table without approaching. Such service significantly diminished the overall customer experience. During payment, she handed us the bill and, without giving us a chance to review it, stood by with the card machine prepared, seemingly eager to rush us out. It's surprising that such service attitude comes with a 12.5% service charge. Comparing this to our experiences in Edinburgh and other London restaurants, the difference is stark. Credit goes to the gentleman at the front desk, who displayed some courtesy. The portion sizes of the dishes were notably small, but the mango baklava dessert was excellent.
