Avoid
the
Bubala
scam
and
do
not
waste
what
could
be
a
convivial
meal
gathering
-
on
coming
to
Bubala.
1.
Upon
reserving
a
table
in
Bubala
the
price
that
one
is
repeatedly
asked
to
confirm
in
their
online
reservation
interface
is
32.50
pounds
for
a
set
menu
per
person
.
Yet,
you
will
then
find
out
later
that
in
fact
this
alleged
32.50
charge
is
actually
40.00
due
to
some
extra
charge
with
which
they
top
up
the
alleged
price
that
was
originally
noted
in
their
reservation
interface.
2.
To
make
things
much
worse,
when
you
arrive
there
and
need
to
choose
between
their
2
set
options
of
vegan/vegetarian
menus,
they
then
will
tell
you
that
in
fact
what
is
listed
in
the
set
menu
per
person,
is
what
they
will
serve
for
2
people
to
share,
so
you
will
actually
get
half
the
listed
menu/portions
per
person,
but
they
will
charge
you
double
for
it.
In
practice,
it
now
turns
out
that
the
listed
menu
of
originally
32.50
that
became
40.00
actually
becomes
80.00
pounds.
3.
Moreover,
even
if
their
set
menu
would
be
honestly
served
for
a
single
person
rather
than
2
-
the
portions
in
which
they
serve
the
dishes
in
the
set
menu
are
ridiculously
tiny,
with
the
layer
of
hummus
on
the
small
plate,
for
example,
being
literally
infinitesimal,
or
very
little
bread
to
accompany
with.
4.
The
table
per
party
is
too
small,
the
plates
are
also
too
small.
5.
The
dishes
are
also
not
spiced
properly,
being
mostly
too
salty,
or
for
example
too
hot
when
unfit
for
the
dish.
6.
The
staff
and
the
ambiance
is
disagreeable,
for
example
immediately
offering
water
for
which
you
will
be
charged
extra,
crabby
staff,
and
constantly
rushing
you
to
clear
the
table
as
you
eat.
As
a
connoisseur
of
mediterranean/Israeli
cuisine
and
restaurants
-
Bubala
does
not
live
up
to
and
in
fact
has
nothing
to
do
with
the
proper
standards
of
this
cuisine
and/or
hospitality.
Do
not
waste
your
precious
time
and
money
there.
