This is an absolutely lovely pub! The Sunday roast was one of the best I've had in London. Went here expecting a "proper" Guinness, but alas, it's London. The interior is beautiful and cozy, with an Irish theme, as you'd expect. The staff were friendly! Overall a good experience. Will definitely return for the roasts.

If you prefer your Sunday roasts to have quantity over quality, this place is for you. The meat was very good, but everything else pretty basic. Friendly vibes in the pub.

Decent enough. Adequate choice of Ciders though not spectacular. Prices decent enough though not spectacular. Live music adequate though not spectacular. Friendly and personable bar staff and bouncers. All in all, a very decent and pleasant Saturday evening. Better than many other choices and no real negatives, so a solid 8.5~9/10. Recommended if you're in the area.

Ciaran the manager is one of the most ignorant and aggressive people I have ever had the misfortune to come across. I thought he was door staff because he is so abrasive and unprofessional. He needs urgent training in how to treat customers.

Love the charming traditional Irish decor inside. This pub has been here forever opposite Morden station. Really big tasty portions although I didn't have the nerve to eat more than half a bite of the blood pudding lol.

Organised a surprise party for my boyfriends 50th Birthday. Mark was brilliant let me choose what tables I wanted, let me decorate them and was so impressed with the buffet. We had 4 tables and each one had a selection of sandwiches, platter containing chicken wings, onion rings, breaded mushrooms, samosas, sausages and spring rolls plus a bowl of chips. Bar staff were friendly and never had to wait long to be served. Thanks for making it the perfect night.

Large IRISH BAR. Great for watching sport. Outstanding Sunday selection of Carvery Roasts. First class, friendly service. Worth travelling to!

Probably the best Sunday roast around. I am.not a lover of carverys as always find veg over done and nothing of good quality. Here at Ganleys everything was cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back . Oh and very well priced too

Large portions, reasonable price, but not quality ingredients, no issues though, value for money. Great service. Atmosphere always good but when quiet feels a bit dark

Just had coffee on there. Good coffee and friendly service, much better value than the coffee chains. Pub had bit of an odd smell though but maybe that was a one off.

Absolutely love this place. The roast dinners are amazing and the service is outstanding! We completely stopped going to Toby carvery once we found this place. Would definitely recommend.

Sunday roast was great . I'd advise you to get there as early as possible if you want the meat of your choice . They only had chicken or turkey and ham when I got there .and it was only mid afternoon.

This is the only place I would go for a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings. On Sundays, it the only thing they serve, everything thing is homemade and its reasonably priced. It's very popular and gets quiet busy. We went about 3pm and it took roughly 20mins to get a table, but all was well because we got a drink from the bar then someone came to get us when the table was free. Has a lovely relaxed informal atmosphere, definitely recommend!

I've been going to Ganley's for a few years now. But, wow! The Sunday roast is amazing. Normally, I find carvery style roasts hit or miss. But the chefs nailed every part of the roast. The meat is cooked well. The potatos (all the options) are great. And the veggies have bite to them. The portion sizes are HUGE too. I'll definitely be back for another roast soon. 5/5. A+.

Good quality carvery, they give a generous portion of vegetables but I don't give it 5 stars due to the portion size of meat. They cut it very thinly so its like meat you'd get at the delicatessen. A cavery back in Ireland you'll get thick juicy slices of meat.

Pretty Irish bar. Lots of people there and you'll be likely to get a story or two after a night there. Large premises nice staff. Live music in the back. Good times.

Thank God I met a lovely waiter for the first who came to my table wouldn't take my food order because he said there was no more food half an hour before the show...and the band started playing an hour later!!!

Excellent little Irish pub in the heart of Morden. The Guinness is the best I've had in London and the food is excellent.

  • 5/5 John F. 1 year ago on Google
Ganley's is just opposite Morden tube and has live sports and a decent pub menu. For a pub in London the Guinness is good, it's never going to be what you get served in Ireland but it's better than many other pubs nearby. It does get busy on a Sunday as people come for the carvery for which you have a choice of meats and the portion is generous.

We came here to watch the Rugby and have a nice couple of pints of Guinness. Staff were friendly, and had layed out plenty of seats. Good atmosphere. 👍

Lovely little Irish pub. All you can ask for from a pub. A good few TV screens to watch sport. Food is affordable and very nice for the price. Good selection of Macro Beers. A little outside space for the summer and situated right across Morden Station. Not too much to complain about here.

Visited last Friday. Lovely place, great atmosphere and the bar staff were very attentive. On the other hand, one security guard who worked at the back of the pub was a nasty piece of work.

We've lived in the area for a year but this was our first visit. From the outside it looks like any other pub but inside is pretty cool. A large space with little seating nooks dotted around and themed, painted walls. Good for a pint and chat, although the TVs were pretty loud and all playing different sports channels.

Actually a really nice place. Much bigger on the inside than you'd think. The Guinnes was superb and they had bitter by the bottle. Staff were very friendly. And the food looked excellent.

It's a great, proper, Irish pub, busy but not too crowded to get a seat. Lots going on and great value for money (not London prices, most meals under a tenner, steaks for £15).

First class. Booked their function room after our wedding nearby and everybody was super impressed with the food and level of service. A proper Irish pub.

I accompanied a group of 30 for a Christmas Carvery recently and once again it was 10/10. David (Chef) and staff were brilliant... delicious food, lovely decorated room, wonderful service. Will be back very soon. Thanks to all.

Middle of a Saturday and was very busy. Love the Irish theme but not so much the racing interest. Luckily we managed to find somewhere to sit on as we wanted to eat. The food was fantastic. Quantity, quality and presentation. Very tasty.

Had a fab Sunday Roast dinner! A real generous and delicious meal freshly cooked. Lots of meat choices carved by main Chef Dave who was very helpful and friendly. The whole visit was superb! Many thanks to Ganleys and whole team including the bar staff and the female assist just before the food area. I would like to suggest and see this young lady deserves a high backed stool to make her day as opposed to a full time stand up position :-) Robby Sutton
