Quaint west end pub just off of Canarby Street. Compact inside but plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the many sights and sounds of Soho. Good selection of ales and whilst we didn't have food what came out when we were there looked pretty good. One we will return to.

A quick shoutout to The Blue Posts for coping admirably with a wheelchair bound lady among our group. Staff rushed forward with a ramp, and good-humouredly helped her in and found us a suitable table. We were only able to stay for one drink, but enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of a proper old-school pub, a rarity in London W1. Next time in town, will drink here!

Decent pub in the heart of Soho. It's good to find somewhere that retains some character and individuality as opposed to the obvious chain options. Friendly staff and good service.

What a cracker! Great music, loads of people and a proper old school feel (I love the carpet!). A bit pricey though…

A delightful portal back to a late-20th Century London of barrel glasses, faded carpet, knackered banquette seats and popcorn ceilings. Very comfortable. Long may it stay as it is.

A lovely cosy pub; Has an old English feel to it. The pub is that of medium size with stalls and chairs here and there. The staff are friendly and are lovely to talk too. I would recommend that you pop into this pub if you're in Soho.

Lovely place to grab a beer or hang with friends or even enjoy time on your own like I did. The staff were very kind, knowledgeable and attentive. Prices were regular; meaning it's not cheap but I'll gladly get drunk there. It had a kind of traditional feel to it. Upstairs is a comedy club with new comedians trying out their jokes which were very entertaining!!!!

A time warp back to the 70s as you enter. A must see pub for everyone to see what the gold old days were like with nicotine stained ceilings and wait for it…. a carpeted floor! Decent selection of beers, lagers and IPAs which should make most of you happy and the bar staff are incredibly friendly with fantastic local knowledge.

Amazing environment, really nice staff, too crowded but it is definitely worth the shot. Also, the people who gather there are way more welcoming than in most pubs and clubs I've seen around.

Nice bar, good beer. Good place to have a pint on Monday afternoon :)

Came in for a few pints and met an interesting man with and interesting story. What’s not to love? Pub was packed but the soft furniture and the carpeted floor helped the room from feeling too loud to carry on a conversation. There was a comedy show upstairs that night and it was sold out so good on the promoters for that.

Lovely pub. Nice beer, friendly staff, great place to meet people. Additional fun fact: the album cover to Oasis' '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?' was shot on Berwick Street.

I felt like I walked into an episode of Only Fools and Horses what a fantastic gem!! Not many independent pubs like this any more. I felt so comfortable right at home here it's small but cosy. Came for a comedy night but I will be back I just love the atmosphere really like a time warp fantastic please don't modernise or change this place it has a lot of character and charm

I believe this comedy night was the highlight of our trip to London. Amazing people, a fantastic atmosphere, and laughter galore... We wholeheartedly recommend it—200%!

Stopped going to this place sometime ago after I was short changed on two occasions in a short period of time. Give them twenty and you get change from ten. Tried to speak to manager but he was never there to give me my money back nor very interested. Perhaps they’ve got more honest bar staff now?

Having a lovely lunch in this beautiful London pub. Very relaxing in a busy area of the City.

Went there during a Thursday evening. Would recommend to go to the second floor as a great live band is playing there. Good beers and fun place to have a good time.

Worst staff ever! Very unfriendly , they kick us out after getting a drinks, bartender try to get the drink from my hands, to put in a plastic cup, when I did explain I was about to finish and go! Security didn’t let me use the toilet. Very rude! I would not come back! The company should make understand what’s Hospitality means!

Unbelievably rude bar staff who served my friend who was standing next to me. Made a point of ignoring me so much my friend had to step in. No thank you.

Great traditional pub, like stepping back a few decades once you walk through the door. Generally around 2 cask ales, so not the huge selection people sometimes expect, but each one is kept perfectly - I've never had a bad pint here. Lively atmosphere. Love it.

You can get a good pint of London Black here. Michelin Star food also available if you want to pay for it.

Been here twice and both times had Guinness. The first time I had an upset stomach and the second time I've realised why. The glasses need a good scrub.

Great meal, good steak, reasonable selection of wines by the glass and some vego options with separate vegan and vego menus on request.

Upstairs at the Blue Posts there’s a London vibe that time forgot. Yes there’s a mega flatscreen TV, but it’s also the kind of place Soho kids can hang out, drink themselves silly and learn exotic chords from weird musos who bash out a mix of The Clash and Fats Waller with a sprinkling of Lennon/McCartney on top.

Find whacky humour on off-beat subjects here..! At their upstairs Comedy nights on Wednesday evenings. Meet some internationals and Londoners in the process. And at £5, currently, it won't break the bank either.
