I have walked past this building so many times and I always wondered what it looked like inside, so when an opportunity came along I booked myself a tour. I'm so glad that I did, as the building is so beautiful with the Egyptian hall, and the Salon with a stunning crystal chandeliers, which it was the highlight of the tour. I would recommend for everyone to visit as the unique Grade 1 listed building it has a lot of unusual features and a great history. The Harold Samuel art collection it was a bonus to see all 84 paintings.

I’ve sung and given talks here the past 3 years (once a year) and every year has been great. The food at the events is outstanding, the staff are just lovely, and the building itself is magnificent. The entire thing together just adds up to one extravagant evening filled with fun! (and fundraising, which is what we were there for)

Grade I Listed residence of the Lord Mayor of London, completed in 1752 and attributing to George Dance. Imposing portico with Corinthian columns supporting an elaborately carved tympanum. Facade grubby, in need of a deep clean. Interior, collections and furnishings equally sumptuous. Located at possibly the most significant intersection in the City and surrounded by a aggregate of impressive buildings from different eras. (notwithstanding the woeful No1 Poultry.) Tours arranged and conducted by official City of London Guides; dedicated, knowledgeable, entertaining and thoroughly professional. Recommended unhesitatingly.

The home of the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of London. The Egyptian Banquet Hall is a famous meeting space in London but the Mansion House contains many other rooms and has been the site of many important meetings.

Steeped in history and establishment. Home to the mayor (City) with a rich background to the building and use. Ornate inside spanning multiple levels. Worth a visit!

Excellent. The Mansion House is a working building and not a museum so you can't wander around by yourself, but what you see, especially the Egyptian Hall, is magnificent.
