It is the portal to the Thames where my granddaughter and l converted our voucher to City Cruise tickets for a lazy late afternoon ride up to the Tower of London. The Waterman's non stop banter en route was humourous and well received, if not always understood, by most of the tourists on board. The weather was perfect and we chose to abandon our indoor seats for most of the return trip to experience first hand the wind in our hair and the water spray on our face. A great way to pass a couple of carefree hours.Big Ben looking on with sage like approval and crossing Parliament square to encounter a coach n horses with white feathery plumes was an exciting extra bonus.

Quite expensive if you only want to cross the water quickly but lovely boat, fab staff, bar, clean toilets. Can be in the warm downstairs and open air on deck. Fab views of London, good commentary but only in English. Nice lady in ticket office. Thoroughly enjoyed trip thank you

Westminster Millennium Pier is a pier on the River Thames, It is operated by London River Services and served by various river transport and cruise operators. It is located next to Westminster Bridge on the north bank of the Thames, and is close to one of London's most prominent landmarks, Big Ben. Very recommende to visit most popular place to see, very close to all attractions in the area.

I had a lovely time at Westminster Pier. Being in this space reminds me that there are still great things to do in London.

Take a ride from here to the London Tower to take in the sites. The Uber boat does not have an upstairs so you might want to opt for a City line for the best views.

Easy access to Thames River boat tours. Can recommend company: Thames River Sightseeing for comfortable boats with good views and entertaining commentary from the crew.

Millennium boat rude was awesome! Captain gave a lovely commentary and we saw all the major sites we wanted to see. Don't be put of by long lines as they disappeared in minutes and the boat was huge! Recommend to all.

RE: London Eye: lines are long, booking time does not matter really, you stand in the 30 min ride after queuing for 45min or more. You need at least 3 hours for this event, not sure it is worth it.

Interesting nothing else I can say about a man made steel bridge of 22 years of age for pedestrian. Called by the Londoners the wobbly bridge due to a noticeable sway at its opening. It was closed for a while for modifications and reopened with no longer a sway.

We went to take the tube there but it was closed off on the platinum jubilee day. But was available for exit only. Officers suggested to take nearby embankment tube station. Not bad. Got to see a few more places meanwhile.

Unfortunately I don’t remember the boat company that I went with but it was amazing. The captain is just not a certified captain he’s not certified comedian. The guys been doing this for many years and I recommend to look at the phone that I’m gonna post and we see that captain go to his boat and ride his boat assistant is as well they are good at his job and do not forget tip that bucket and do not break the tradition I will not tell you how amazing the trip was or what he said you will have to experience it yourself it’s a cheap way to see London especially as a solo traveller

Now when you stand here, you know you are in London! The Thames, Parliament, the Eye, iconic bridges. It's just a wonderful exciting place to see.

London and its history, the river themes, it was women who build the Waterloo bridge in the war. The Dutch brought food to London when the plague was there and no other country would enter. the name Dutch courage comes from that. It's nice to take a river trip in the busy place of London.. shops, food etc
