This
was
the
first
time
I
wasn't
to
the
temple.
It's
great
to
have
a
spiritual
Hindu
temple
in
the
heart
of
Central
London
where
you
can
spent
a
couple
of
hours
in
peace.
Apart
from
the
worship
and
prayer
times
everyday,
meditation
and
other
classes
are
held
(timetable
on
website).
Weekends
are
quite
busy
especially
on
the
festival
days
like
Rathyatra
or
Janmastami.
So
I
have
avoided
these
days
even
for
the
main
temple
in
Watford.
Weekdays
are
great
to
visit
but
the
restaurant
is
always
crowded
during
lunchtime.
Even
local
office
workers
flood
in
for
the
incredibly
delicious
(but
pure
vegetarian),
thalidomide
deals.
Best
thing
is
that
they
do
not
believe
in
or
encourage
wasting.
Groceries
near
expiry
are
collected
from
supermarkets
and
cooked
in
their
huge
kitchen
in
the
basement.
Volunteering
in
the
kitchen
is
encouraged
by
devotees
and
I
personally
enjoyed
helping
out
in
the
kitchen.
Food
is
of
course
incredible.
I
didn't
like
the
juices
though,
they
were
too
sweet
for
my
taste.
They
also
gave
a
shop
on
the
top
floor
and
the
incense
are
highly
recommended.
