I am a frequent hotel traveler, both luxury hotels and chain hotels, but I felt a different kind of perfect service here. In particular, a young lady working in reception, I'm not sure if I can spell her full name correctly, but I vaguely remember her name as Liya (please forgive me if I misspell her name). She was very friendly and professional towards customers, and I could feel her sense of responsibility for her work, which was different from completing tasks, and her patience towards customers. This is a very rare quality, and I am very grateful for her help, which has made me have a better impression on ibis hotels. In my opinion, the service industry should not only conform to the norms that everyone in the industry is familiar with, but in addition to comfortable beds, quiet environment and delicious meals, the most rare thing is that the staff has a kind and friendly heart. And they actively help their guests, regardless of the status of the guests, race and wealth, which is more important and precious than fine wine, perfect decoration of fine mattresses, thank this young lady for letting me feel the warmth of London

Overall the hotel isn't bad. First of all, the breakfast is great. Many options to choose from and the cheapest breakfast in town. The room is also pretty cheap compared to some of the other hotels in Central London. The only disappointment was the bathrooms - the flush would take an extremely long time to function - and when it did, too much power of water was exhibited. The shower would also flood a lot as there is nothing to stop the water from coming out. Otherwise, great location wise and excellent for travelling Central London

From check in to check out and everything in between brilliant service, amazing rooms and perfect location. Breakfast was very delicious and the buffet was well presented with great variety of choices and allergens clearly listed. Would definitely recommend the Hotel!

In my opinion more of a two stars hotel. Maybe once it was appropriate to call itself three stars, but it clearly deteriorated and you can see it aged. Bed linens were not new and clearly had some age. As well the carpet floor had some stains. The vents in the bathroom were very dusty and the tap was creaky. The bathroom was completely made of plastic - like a cabin. Time to renew it. Everything however was clean and worked. The window are not sound proof, you could hear sirens and cars from outside. The breakfast was good and at a very reasonable price. Better you come a little earlier, otherwise you have to wait. The area is centrally located as well. Staff was friendly.

This was the most worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The picture below shows how dirty the room is. In addition, a lot of items are unavailable in the hotel room, and the service team is quite difficult to deal with. However, I stayed in the hotel for six nights, and they did not even change the bed blankets; they only reorganized it. Missing items: 1- safety box is not available. 2- water is not available. 2- bath room slippers is not available. 4- Room ext is not available The worst hotel ever is this one.

I have slept in this hotel for over 20 times, in the past 5 years. I am a frequent traveller that attends meetings in London once a month. Every time I sleep in this hotel, I wake up in the middle of the night with a headache, by the morning I've got all my airways blocked and have a trembling headache. The air coming from the air-conditioning unit has an issue, it's too dry and will turn you into a mummy throughout the night. I challenge anyone to have a decent night sleep in there, its just not possible. I've raised this several times with staff and they also don't care... Also avoid the second floor, specially around rooms 312 and 314, the internet only stays connected for 10-15 minutes before the signal becomes too weak and disconnects. Very poor experience from my end. Other than that, the rooms are clean, the staff is super nice, the breakfast is not bad. It's just a v bad night's sleep...

I’m not sure I can find any faults with this hotel given the price. The check in process was seamless with friendly staff, the room was a decent enough size with comfortable bed and I had no complaints with sleep quality. The shower was much bigger than I was expecting and an enjoyable walk-in experience and the decor throughout the room was nice. The location isn’t ideal for touristy spots, but if you need to be in the area like I was then its ideal. Great service and room for such value, and I’ll be back!

Had a fantastic stay! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was wonderful and there was a lot to choose from and would suit anyone's palate. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast buffet is always beeing refilled so you just have to wait for a short moment if something runs out. Rooms are good, clean and had everything one needs during a short trip to the city. Overall clean hotel, reasonable prices and very close to public transport. Shopping facilities just besides or around the corner.

The hotel is good cause it's just next to Aldgate East metro station. Next to the hotel also has a Tesco express shop which is convenient if you need to get some food or drinks. The hotel is very simple - no toothbrush, body lotions, drinking water provided. Only bathe towel. Overall it's a basic hotel, all U need for a night sleep. The rooms are clean and quite. I think it's very good sound proof.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Tube station, that's just around the corner. I slept nicely the whole 3 day-stay. I didn't spot any faults, in the bedroom and in the bathroom. 100% would come back to explore the area and to spare some £.

During our three-night stay at Ibis Hotel Shoreditch in December 2023, my fiancée and I found the accommodations to be both clean and inviting. The room boasted a pleasing cleanliness and a cozy ambiance, offering ample space for our comfort. While we did note a limitation in TV channel options, overall, the establishment presented itself as a commendable three-star hotel. A particular highlight of our experience was the great customer service provided by Mady at the reception. Mady's attentiveness and assistance were noteworthy, especially when it came to accommodating changes to our stay period. This positive interaction with the staff further enhanced our overall impression of the hotel, contributing to a memorable and satisfactory visit.

Good location, next to underground. Good price with good breakfast. Suitable for travellers who like to explore UK /London and not stay inside hotel rooms all day long. Reception staff warm and welcoming.

Location is so nice, just less than a minute from under and next to tesco express and restaurant! Staff is friendly and helpful. The room always get clean early even we went out for an hour. When we stayed, there was a fire next to the hotel but they managed us to stay in Novotel in that night which is good, only bad thing is for our stay we had to walk farther to underground because the police had to close the road.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Good location, clean, modern. BUT how can there be no room for left luggage? I have stayed in *many* Accor hotels and this is the only one that couldn't store luggage. Having to leave it at (e.g.) a train station is not at all handy.

I do have to question some of these reviews. Quite simply one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. Poor location, poor mattress (about 4” thick), bathroom was fully plastic and looks like it’s more suited to an aeroplane, room very hot and air con not working or turned off due to time of year. Then to breakfast, hot food was Luke warm at best and sparse. Never again.

If you’re looking for a 2-3 star basic, small hotel, then this one is OK, however 300€/night can’t be justified! The rooms are tiny and the bathroom is like one you’d find on an airplane or train. The decor was pretty bad. The location is fantastic in the center of London city. I was traveling here for work and ended up rebooking somewhere nicer.

Good location, easy accessible via metro, near the city, Spitafield and lots of place to lunch or dine. Rooms are large enough, well equiped and beds are confortable. Very nice reception poeple, luggage room available.

Good location, responsive room service, clean and comfortable room, fast check out. It was an excellent stay. Located at very accessible train station that makes easier to go city centre and therefore offers quiet surroundings for good rest. Room design is contemporary and I like it a lot. Mani- Australia

Exceptional stay! From the moment I arrived, the hotel impressed with its top-notch service and outstanding amenities. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring a seamless experience. The room was not only comfortable but also beautifully designed, creating a cozy retreat. The attention to detail throughout the hotel, from the decor to the amenities, truly set it apart. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable and experience.

I stayed in this hotel twice in the last 2 weeks both for business reasons (respectively for 3 & 7 nights). I chose this hotel mainly for its location and for the public transport connections nearby. Although I did not particularly like the areas of Shoreditch, the location of the hotel was indeed great, tube around the corner, etc... Easy and quick check-in and check-out. Very helpful staff. The room and the hotel -in general- are clean and quite modern. The breakfast was excellent and above expectations! Overall, it was a good stay and good hospitality for a 3* hotel, met all my expectations. Cheers!

Great location right next door to Aldgate East underground and a Tesco next door and only a 10 minute walk to Spittalfelds/central Shoreditch! Clean and tidy rooms. Extra bedding provided on request. Facilities to hold luggage once you have checked out.

Service at check in and departure was excellent. Bar staff were also friendly. the extra sofa bed in the family room was not comfortable. The hotel was clean and room was well looked after by the staff during the stay.

Ibis never disappoints! The location of this hotel is great! It's very near to Aldgate East station Exit 2. The rooms are clean and housekeeping does their job well. And you need your room card to access your room. Good security measure! Front service staff are professionally helpful. The lobby has plenty of space to host your guests. I will stay at this Ibis when I am back in London!

We stayed here for 2 nights, it was in a good location for what we wanted to do and was about a 20-25min walk from London Bridge Station. We got there before our check in time and we were very lucky that our room was ready. Very clean and comfortable room and had everything we needed. We did have an issue with not having any running hot water on the 1st evening that we were there but this did not cause any hassle as we only needed the cold to brush our teeth. The next morning however, we went to have a shower and when I turned on the water it had an awful strong smell of sewage, so thought it best not to use the shower. Went down to reception who already knew about no hot water from the evening before and said that they would get maintenance in to look at the shower. When we got back from our day out, we tried the shower and it was fine so the issue was obviously dealt with swiftly which we were very grateful for.

Well placed if you have customers nearby. You can always expect great service at ibis and this one doesnt disappoint. I was with a friend and booked in super fast. Good sized room for the centre of the city with a comfortable mattress and pillows. Always after. A good shower as well an this didn't disappoint. And don't worry about having to take the higher floors, the windows are well insulated!

Pretty good-looking hotel for 3 star, front of house staff members are really helpful and informative. Nice comfy bed, clean room, decent size TV with streaming facilities and free wifi. Breakfast buffet was superb, nice variety and restaurant host Dayan and the waiter team are outstanding.

Ibis delivers - clear concept, fair rates and great service. The rooms are fine and there is all you need for a business stay over: a good bed, a good (and movable) desk, an iron + board and a small but good bathroom! I’m a returning customer because I never doubt the good service and the feeling of being welcome at Ibis

IBIS Hotel are always amazing. I love the set up of the breakfast. Not a single sachet in sight. All well thought out sensible and safe ways of using bulk use containers to provide food. Would recommend anyone who cares about the environment to use IBIS

Great location, staff is very friendly and helpful and since we had a room on the 8th floor the view was great. Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty. Also the bed was super nice and comfy. The walls were thick so we couldn't hear anyone else. Nothing bad to say

For the money, I have zero complaints about this hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was totally fine, the bathroom was small (but there are only a few things that need to be done there). It’s just a few feet away from the Aldgate East Underground station which makes getting around London so convenient. It’s also very close to the Shoreditch neighborhood which is an eclectic area.

Room fine, but no coat hooks to hang wet coats. Cooked breakfast was only warm and not hot. Also the plates could have been cleared away quicker (the 'mood' lighting was a little dark for breakfast too). Good comfy beds mind.

High quality breakfast options in the restaurant Breakfast room staff was outstanding, particularly Diyan. Bathroom during this terrible time, in four days, and three different rooms the showers would flood repeatedly. Many of the rooms are alongside a very busy street, so if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the road. Steps away from a tube station and bus stop, easy transport to most places.

I have been using Ibis hotel on frequent basis I regularly book the ibis hotel London City Shoreditch. The Staff are great they never fail to keep me happy . I use the day use always when I like to work away from home and also like to have a me time to myself. The rooms I get are wonderful. Coming from experience hotel industry I can say ibis is the best. As I used to work for serviced apartments and its been a dream of mine to work in a place I regularly use I suggest to all to book ibis hotel London City Shoreditch the staff are the best

Hotel is clean and decor is modern, room is a good size as well, nicest and biggest TV I've had in a hotel, able to connect your phone and stream content on it! Rooms are also cleaned daily as standard unless you state otherwise. Breakfast was 10/10, huge number of options, full English, pastries, cereals, fruit salad, juice bar etc. Very lovely staff as well, AC in the room was nice and strong, great when it was very hot outside

Great situation. 1 min from underground Near to Tower of London and lots of the main attractions. Comfy bed. Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast selection and nothing too much trouble for any staff. Would definitely stay again

I had a very nice stay here! The location is very central and with multiple bus stations and Underground stations near, you can get to anywhere really quickly. We had a room looking away from the street and it was very quiet and I had a nice sleep! The room even had an Iron which was very surprising! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Over all, I'd say I had a very nice stay there!
