Me and my husband stayed here last week. First thing when we arrived receptionists boy (Archan) welcomed us with the big smile. Check in process was easy and smooth. Our room was lovely. Bit upset about elevator but reception guy helped us with luggage because there was no helper at that time. There are several restaurants and cafés around hotel. There is underground station 700-800m walking. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was so comfortable. Everyday room Cleanning and towel changes. I am definitely coming back. Hopefully elevator will work next time.

Stayed one night as I had an appointment at US Embassy and it was the closest I could get at short notice. To be honest the low price put me off a little but I couldn't have been more wrong. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. Although overlooking busy main road it wss totally quiet. The bathroom was spotless and good toiletries. Generous supply of tea and coffee. Add to this an excellent location, for access to most parts of London easily, and I would not hesitate to reccommmend it or stay again. If there was a negative point, room was on 3rd floor and the lift was 'out of service'... okay... slightly inconvenient, but it's not like it's the north face of the Eiger..!

The room was clean. For a couple definitely enough room. Especially the bathroom caught our attention: Modern and clean. We lived in London before and we know how it can be. Now we have been in London for holidays and we really enjoyed our stay at The Maiden Oval Hotel. Great service. Clean rooms. Good price! Really not expensive for a hotel in London. The guys at the reception were great and caring! And you are close to the city of London: Victoria, Westminster, Bank. Just great! Anytime again!

Stayed for 2 nights in the hotel, was very clean, perfect location and very friendly staff. Only issue was it was very hot in the room however, we were due to stay at this hotel for 2 nights and move to another hotel for another 2 nights . Unfortunately the second hotel we were staying was terrible. We phoned Maiden Oval at nearly midnight to see if they had any spare rooms and they were very helpful. They were able to give us a room and gave us a reduced rate as a kind gesture to our awful evening. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name on reception but his customer service was brilliant and we can’t thank him enough. It is a budget hotel but definitely worth it. Thanks for all your help during our stay

My family and I were just in London for 4 nights. We stayed at the Maiden. The location could not be better with only a 2 minute walk to the tube station. The hotel is older and the rooms aren't fancy. But, the beds are comfortable (although, the pillows are quite flat and could be replaced) and the staff is incredible. The staff there truly goes above and beyond. The gentleman at the front desk arranged for 2 taxi's to take us to the train station. My husband realized he forgot his wallet in one of the taxi's about 15 minutes after we were dropped off. The gentleman at the front desk contacted the driver and made arrangements for the taxi to come back with my husband's wallet. They made what could have been a traumatic experience bearable. I would stay there again.

Got to the room, and the smell was like an old wet closet. Also, the elevator wasn't working. The very next day the only drink and food supply machine got broke because somebody was miscarefull with the key. The internet didn't work any of our 3 nights staying at the hotel. The personnel told us that they would be restarting it but eventually after hours of non working internet they told us the truth that it really was like that always that it comes for about 10 minutes and after that it wouldn't be any longer. Truly not recommended the stay I have stay in london in better places for same amount of money and location

Rooms look better in the photo - the hotel is the old and not very well maintained but clean! Receptionist was nice and welcoming but the message they send prior to the guest arrival is pretty unfriendly and sounds punishing that if you do this that happen … you will get a ticket Blabla ( could have been nicer)! All in all for that price and location is a not a bad place ! If you want to stay for a night or two that is fine.

Stayed here for the day. Cheapest place I could find and makes sense how. Positives: lovely and quick check-in, comfy bed Negatives: fan didn’t have an off switch, the view from my room (which was through the fire exit?) was disgusting, I couldn’t get my phone charger in one of the sockets, stained mugs and lack of communication between front desk and cleaners. If you need a cheap place to stay in London and can look past these imperfections, this is the room for you. I’m giving it a 3-star average score because I wasn’t bothered by the negatives, but know it may upset others.

A reasonably priced hotel for London in a nice district of this capital. The hotel staff are helpful and efficient. Needs a kitchen to feed your guests. Good transport links to other parts of London.
