So, I better start from the beginning… We arrived at the sister hotel (you have to check in a few doors down at Comfotel Blu) and walked past a man sat on the step outside the hotel drinking a can of Stella, we waited outside for about 5 minutes before said man shouted to a woman down the road to tell her we were waiting, he then shouted to tell us they wouldn’t be long, after another 5 minutes had passed we were let in by a very quiet man who proceeded to check us in and take payment in total silence. He told us to take a photo of the Wi-Fi password and told us our room (room no.13). The room we checked into looked absolutely nothing like the pictures, there was no headboards, a terrible paint job, a dirty blue desk and a filthy TINY bathroom. The mini fridge didn’t work, the curtains were two different lengths, mattresses too big for the bed bases and hanging over. Two plug sockets in the middle of the beds but one didnt work, someone else’s food wrappers down the back of the bed. We checked for bed bugs as we’d read the previous reviews however the mattresses looked new and so no sign of bed bugs… although there was a questionable stain on one of our sheets. The beds were reasonably comfy, not £200 for two nights comfy though… the carpet was dirty, everything was so unclean and the bathroom smelt like mould. No mould could be seen though. Just limescale and grot, a lot of it. The room was ridiculously hot due to the weather so we were pleasantly surprised to have a huge fan to help us keep cool. That was very much appreciated. However the rest of our stay was less than satisfactory. The first night none of us slept, the noise was unbearable, I don’t know who or what they had in the rooms surrounding us but they sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling ALL NIGHT. Doors banging, stomping on the floors, knocking, more banging. Accompanied by the constant sirens every few minutes outside. We were exhausted the next day but were at a festival so didn’t stay in the room. When we got back around midnight we got straight into bed and luckily had a better nights sleep… however early the next morning (7am) once again banging and clattering, doors slamming etc. Checkout is 11-11.30am so we had a little bit of time to kill after we’d packed our stuff to leave. My friends and I decided to sit down on our beds and chill out for half an hour before we left (this was at 10.20am) so we put the ‘do not disturb sign on the door’ - at 10.30 we were surprised as the blonde lady the man shouted at the day earlier let herself into our room to ask us when we were leaving!!!!!! She opened the door with her key card, stood there and asked us questions like when are you leaving? Do you need anything? Etc. she was friendly enough but I have never ever had anyone management or otherwise let themselves into my hotel room before. Luckily no one was getting dressed or showered!!! We felt so uncomfortable after that so we checked out and left. We won’t be returning, horrendous stay in a room that couldn’t look more different from the pictures if it tried!!! Not worth the £196.20 we paid!

Visited this hotel with my sisters in a quad room. We were emailed the day before saying checkin was 24 hours, when we arrived, it wasn’t and we had to wait 4 hours to checkin. Things just got worse from here The room was small for 4 people and was absolutely boiling- especially considering the cooler temperatures outside. There were 2 fans- one caked in mould and one with no safety cover. Water coming through the bathroom ceiling, disgustingly dirty shower heads and pillows, tv and fridge didn’t work and the light had been taped up. After checking in we immediately went out and upon our return found cockroaches in the bathroom. We asked to move to a different room- the owner said we should leave at already 11pm if we didn’t want that room. We were left stranded in London looking for a hotel at near midnight DO NOT STAY HERE

DO NOT STAY AT ANY OF THE COMFOTEL HOTELS! EVEN IF YOU ARE DESPERATE! We went for a birthday weekend and chose to stay here as it appeared like an affordable and nice place. But don't even bother if you want to be in a place where the ceiling is coming down and all the furniture is ridden with bed bugs. This chain of hotels are a major health hazard to all the customers. What's worse is that us informing them on the day and making an official complaint hasn't improved the situation. The staff was rude and blunt and pointed us in unhelpful directions to assist with this issue. My partner was ridden with bed bug bites to the point where the skin started to show major inflammations and non stop irritation. If you want to stay in a place where the staff aren't concerned about these issues that were addressed to them face to face and online then be my guest because at the end of the day they won't even consider refunding you for the troubles you go through.

CAUTION - BED BUGS. Booked a twin room with Comfotel Blu and was given a room in Comfotel Grn. Location wise this hotel is not bad, accessible to tubes and buses. The room was okay. The window did not open so there was no ventilation in the room at all. Now onto the worst part of our holiday. My friends and I were covered in bed bug bites that became extremely swollen and irritated. This was raised to the receptionist at Comfotel Blu and was told to contact the number on the door, which had no response. On raising this to them through booking.com messages, we were told we did not complain and they offered us a 15% refund. Rude management that have no regard for your safety. Do not book this hotel for the sake of your health!

So.... I read the reviews and was horrified by what I was reading, mould bed bugs etc, I had a booking here for one night but was very nervous about what I would find, I have a pregnant partner so wanted it all to be super clean. To my surprise it was clean, and the smell of mould was obviously replaced by the smell of paint and cleaning products, it was fine, the staff were friendly and the room was clean, it was a bit small and there were something's that needed replacing like the fridge but overall I had zero issues here, you can tell they are making an effort to clean the place up, would I stay here again?.... Yes I would, it's cheap and you get what you pay for but the bed was comfy and it's in a great location. I hope the owner will keep it this way and not let it deteriorate, good luck to them I say.

It's a theft. I made a booking with free cancellation, one month ago. As I couldn't make my trip, I cancelled the room prior to the last day of cancellation. However, I have been charged full amount for a room I never used. I tried to call more than 15 times and no one will answer the phone. After trying three different number and calling many times, one of the employees answered the phone. They have different hotels on the same street and according to one of their employees, the manager would call me to resolve this. Still waiting for them to call me while they have theft my money from my credit card. Don't trust these people. The attention is miserable.

Stayed here for a 2 night stay. The location is excellent, a short walk from Hammersmith station, a Tesco & plenty of pubs & eateries. Check in was straightforward & the receptionist was very helpful & prompt in dealing with a request I had when I arrived. The room although was one of the worst I have ever stayed in (I do a lot of travelling too!). It was very small (the size of a box room), everywhere looked grubby & there was lots of stains on the walls & headboard of the bed. There was also an overpowering smell of bleach around the hotel too, which when this wore off gave way to an equally odd smell emanating from the bathroom. The hotel is on a main road near a fire station & police station so it's very loud, even with the window closed, & a large gap around the door with a landing light that stayed on all night meant the room was very bright (thankfully I had my noise cancelling headphones & eye mask so was able to get some sleep). Although I didn't notice any bed bugs during the night (like previous reviews have mentioned) I have come home to find that I have several bites on me, which weren't there before my stay. Looking back at the website from when I booked, the photos used were from one of their other hotels (Comfortel PRPL) & bear little resemblance to the room I stayed in. Also of note is that worryingly, someone else in my party came back to their room later in the day to find that their room had been opened & left unlocked, despite it definitely being locked before going out. I accept that it's a budget hotel & you get what you pay for, but personally I would spend a bit more & avoid this one!

Our room was perfect for a one night stay, everything was neat and tidy, the bed was also really comfy. Simple and quick check in at the sister hotel next door. We had a room at the back of the property and even though we slept with a window open the only noise we heard were the birds singing in the morning Perfect location if attending and event at the Apollo etc. Hammersmith tube stations both a very short walk away so could also be a base if visiting central London We'll definitely be staying here again next time we're in London

The room was clean, had a bathroom, a bed and a locked door. That's pretty much my standards met! Decoration and amenities are basic and unrefined but it's all reflected in the cost of the rooms per night. Good deal for a popular place in london. The only reason I've knocked a few stars down here and there is the check in was a little bumpy as they couldn't find my booking at first. And the room itself was fine but perhaps not suited for everyone's standards.

The hotel is fine. If you are just looking for a place to rest in between work shifts (like I was) then it does the job. The bed, sheets & towels provided were all clean. However, the room itself is just not up to scratch. The floor was dirty, the walls have what appears to be the first stages of mould, and the bathroom/shower was in my opinion unusable. It has the potential to be much better than it is, if a bit of money, care & attention was paid to the rooms.

I've only just checked in and can say I'm stunned at how poor it is. Beware you have to pay on arrival by cash or card even if you book online. The room was booked by my company and they refused to take payment over the phone. Room for 1 person isn't big enough to swing a cat in, heating in the room is off central heating which isn't even on in winter. Signs of a water leak on the ceiling. There is a small fridge in the room, but this wasn't plugged in and has rusted to the point of needing to go for scrap. For the price paid per night it would have been cheaper to go else where.

The Comfotel GRN hotel in London is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel rooms were dirty, they never changed the sheets of the beds, and the bathroom showers looked like they had never been cleaned. My family and I booked two different rooms at this hotel and in BOTH rooms there were bed bugs! We discovered the bed bugs around 2:00 in the morning and when I went to reception to let them know about it, the man wouldn’t even let me into the reception area. He opened a window to speak to me and he had clearly been sleeping when I tried to buzz in to the reception area. He then tried to tell me to wait until the morning to deal with this issue, probably because he just wanted to keep sleeping! I argued, of course, because I was not going to sleep in a bed that had bed bugs in it and he finally gave me a key to a different room but that honestly did not make me feel any better. If there were bed bugs in both of the rooms we had stayed in, I was sure there would be bed bugs in this next room as well. My family and I did not sleep at all that night and around 8am or 9am, we went back to the reception area. Again, the man did not let us in when we buzzed and spoke to us through the window. Finally, I had asked if we could just go inside (because it was also very cold outside) and he let us into the hallway, but still not into the reception area. I explained the situation to him again and then he left us alone in the hallway to speak to his manager over the phone. When he came back, he told us that he could give us another room and I told him that we would not be doing that, that all we needed was a refund for the nights that we would not be staying because we were not going to risk dealing with more bed bugs. He called his manager again and then handed me the phone so that I could talk to her. I reexplained the story to her. She was hesitant at first but she finally agreed to giving us a refund for the days we wouldn’t be staying (we had already stayed 5 days and they were going to refund us for 6). After a few days we still hadn’t received a refund so we went back to the hotel and they told us that they were going to process it as soon as possible and then would give me a call. The man even gave me a card with the companies email on it and said I could email them and they would respond immediately. They never called me and I emailed the company and never heard back. We still have not received a refund. This happened in November of 2022 and it is now January. The management of this hotel is absolutely terrible and the hotel itself is super disgusting. The fact that they didn’t want to help us when we found bed bugs in not one, but TWO rooms is horrible. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

Very basic accommodation. No reception in building n was situated in separate building. I went twice at reception no reply. But bearable stay for 1 night. Value for money n good location

There were some issues with our booking, however it was sorted out quickly and in a polite manner. We got a room in a different hotel nextdoor from the same company. I cannot say anything bad about this place. The location is great (2 zone) and it is close to Westfield shopping centre. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The receptionist was very understandable and nice when I checked in. However, when I walked into my room I was welcomed by a *very* clogged toilet, a weird smell of cigarettes, hair on my bed (before I had even laid down in it) and dirty/chipped walls. I'm not sure if they're trying to save money by not changing the bedsheets between people but if that's the case, please put the prices up if that's what you have to do. I guess for £80 a night you can't expect much, but a clean room is the bare minimum. Please note that the rooms aren't soundproof at all so you'll be able to hear your neighbour snoring, people walking outside and every car driving by (like I had the opportunity to hear a fire alarm go off last night around midnight, as well as the fire brigade chatting outside). I decided not to include the pictures of the clogged toilet as it was disgusting. Thankfully I had only stayed there for one night so I wasn't too fussed about it

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. When we checked in we saw bed bugs crawling along the pillow, the solution to this was to replace the pillow!!! Are you serious!! We then got offered to stay in their other hotel around the corner which didn’t look any better! Luckily we managed to book into the Hilton at 11pm at night but understandable felt so let down! Still a month on with no money refunded, not worried about the money as this is protected and backed up but the whole experience is not even 1star.

Awful place and needs to be shut down immediately. You do not get what is advertised online at all! Very filthy room and is probably evident of their attitude towards keeping their guests and property COVID safe. The owner(s) and all members of staff should be ashamed of themselves. We don’t smoke and inside that hotel there was a very bad smell of cigarettes, also inside our room. Rooms very dirty, full of dust, had to call the cleaner to clean at least the toilet one more time. NEVER AGAIN!! They should not operate at that state!

Dirty hotel, weed smell everywhere, the bed was awful and bedhead is damage. Got a room in the second floor and the water pressure is too low, I could not have a decent shower. Spider web on the ceiling. 3 nights no one show up to clean the room or replace the towels.

First of all they will charge you £5 if you want to keep a bag with the reception after you check out. We got a room for a good price which is a good thing! There is running hot water which is also good But The bathroom door does not lock, The room was not clean, the floor literally had small rocks and chewing gum stuck. Also the beds covers had stains on them !!! The table is not stable it could fall at any time and the table next to the beds is broken. I am so disappointed because in the AD it was not like this :(

I stayed one night in Comfotel Grn, but had booked for 2. It was awful! The room was tiny, I couldn't lock the door so ended up moving the only tiny chest in front of it overnight. I arrived late in the evening but in the morning discovered an empty can and cigarette lighter on the window sill behind the curtain. There is no reception, and hardly anyone around. As a female travelling alone, I felt very unsafe and wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Would not even give this 1 star if it was possible. Went to watch Blackpool away at QPR and stayed here. 1st thing that hits you is the smell of mould and damp coming out of the bathroom and then you see how dirty the rest of the room is. As it was August we expected a bit of heat in the room but not to the point where we felt like we had gone to the sun camping. The room was so hot and stuffy and there was minimal air circulation so we could not cool it down. Staying here was the worst night sleep I have ever had in a hotel, it was awful
