I just love gym box chain and this gym on Covent Garden specifically :) I enjoy the stylish interior, the music and choice &quality of facilities. Changing rooms / sauna / bathrooms are always clean and well-maintained. Staff on reception is always cheerful and guys generally greet you with sincere smiles :) It feels a bit crowdy during peak times but it's an understandable thing considering the location.

I’ve been a member of this gym for a few months now and the quality of facilities is incredibly poor. - The hot water hasn’t worked at the gym for a number of weeks, this isn’t communicated to users until they step into a freezing cold shower, I’ve been told consistently now that this will be fixed but it hasn’t been - The showers are filthy & the shower gel is usually empty - The sauna fits a max of 3-4 people in, given that the gym is so oversubscribed this results in it being as busy as a packed tube carriage & therefore unusable - The equipment itself is decent, however as of recent months the surge in membership numbers makes the gym an entirely unpleasant experience. The gym is small and cannot cope with the numbers - Thieves operate within the gym Further, customer services @ GYMBOX aren’t helpful & are not receptive to feedback

Went to this gym today for a tour and I loved it! So much space and such an original layout. The guys at the reception were fantastic and helpful, especially Peter that has been super friendly and explained to me all the different classes and events they organise at the club. They gym is good and I think they do what they claim around classes and what not but they make cancellation really hard, have no system of follow up on that request and will not allow you to cancel in person. I have wasted money since May 2021 on this even though I don't live in London anymore. Gym and Classes: 5 star Support around cancellation: 1 star

I've been using this gym for many years and it's always been a fantastic gym and very convenient. The classes are amazing and the staff are always very friendly, especially Zach who works on reception. He always makes time to chat and provide encouragement when I'm dragging my heels into the gym!

What a gym, vibe, true pleasure to train there. And the team really looking after you! Boriss the GM deserves 10 stars alone.

First impressions: where is everything? This place could do with sign posts to both changing rooms and equipment. Disoriented start. I can see something, how do I get to it? The lay out coupled with extremely loud music would not instill confidence in a newbie. My workout buddy who was totally fresh looked like a deer in the headlights, although he was possibly just overwhelmed with all the attractive people around him. The weight area needs to be a lot bigger, but it was the first time to find a gym where all the weights were in their place! Overall I had a decent workout with a good enough variety of equipment. Pleasant changing rooms also and friendly reception staff.

Amazing gym! Recently started going and went to ‘gassed’. Was great and I’m looking forward to try out some new classes! Will definitely be going back! Abi (who I believe was the studio manager) was super helpful!

Very easy and informative tour and sign-up process. Cool atmosphere, great classes, and nice and clean changing area and showers. Shout out to Peter for all the help getting started, and Claudia for being the kindest and most welcoming PT!

READ CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING - THE RYANAIR OF LONDON GYMS CUSTOMER SERVICE | Membership did not highlight when I signed a 3 month contact that you had to give one months notice to cancel otherwise you are charged an extra month until you do cancel. Customer service response at Head Office was you should have read the contract in detail before signing. When I replied to their email, they just sent a sorry to see you go email. Gymbox is one of the most expensive gym brands in London but this customer service and attitude reflects a bargain basement approach to customer service. Their own reception admit freely the way they extend customers contracts is unprofessional and often not highlighted when customers join.

Amazing gym and the tour I had really convinced me. The gym really matched with my goals and Peter did amazing with the tour showing me the place.

Bit of a confusing layout, which isn’t conducive to a good workout. I found lots of equipment to be randomly placed together around different parts of the gym (which is across a few floors), so you spend a lot of time going between areas. There’s a good selection of equipment, including the latest Technogym treadmills (x2) which is cool. But no hex dumbbells that I could see, only the circular ones. Showers (male) aren’t good; but this is typical of all Gymbox gyms - really bad metal shower head which sprays a useless amount of water in loads of different directions. Not a premium experience at all and I wish they’d invest in showers across their estate a bit more. All in all, this is a passable branch, but doesn’t even come close to some of the better ones.

This gym has all the amenities expected from a gym. It is well maintained and has enough space. Also a couple lifting platforms. Showers are nice

Pretty good gym near the hotel I was staying in while visiting London. 20 pounds for a day pass, lockers, showers etc pretty clean, decent range of equipment - two squat racks, two benches. Would come back!

Don't usually leave reviews but my experience has just been terrific. Joined in September 2022 and value for classes has been top notch. WOD and Bodyweight Bandits are great, but Yolanda's class is the real star; her attention to form and individualised feedback keeps me coming back week after week. Could do well with more similar strength-based classes throughout the week. Thanks for such a great experience!

Pros: really friendly front desk staff, excellent central location, space was clean. Cons: nothing too serious here but 20£ for a single visit seemed on the high side even for a major capital. The space itself is laid out in a very confusing manner. There are multiple levels with equipment seemingly placed randomly. Very tight free-weight space and arguably too many fitness options for just one space. I had to cross numerous bridges and had to walk up and down stairs to find what I was looking for. I think if this space focused on less options and greater detail to space and flow of clientele for what they do offer, this would have been a better experience. Still 4 starts because of the lovely front desk staff, cleanliness and location. Maybe the other locations are better situated? 15£ would have been a better value.

Super friendly staff specially at the front desk. Really appreciate excellent customer service. I was greeted by Peter and made me feel super comfortable. He was extremely friendly and made me sure I was in one of the best Gyms in London.

Facilities are getting worse and worse while price increases ! No hot water in the showers for at least 5 time the last 3 months. Been to Westfield gymbox ones and there were no towels available.

The gym is wonderful, by the way! The classes were fantastic when I was a member in the past, but there are even better classes now! I have always been able to board the desired equipment.The team moves quickly to address any issues, which I've only encountered once.

Overall, I feel like this gym has everything I need to achieve my fitness goals, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to join. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness experience in London!

I got a day pass for £20 as a bit of self-indulgence while staying in England. Nice setup, super cool neon lighting and was there when a live DJ was on. The range of equipment was great - lots of machine and some good plate-loaded options that I have missed. Water fountain in the change room came in handy 👍

“It’s not our issue” is what Anja, the receptionist told me when I requested a refund for my day pass as there was no hot water in the showers. Guests weren’t informed of the problem and staff didn’t have the common sense to inform gym goers. I was simply told that “it’s not our issue” and “this also happened a few days ago.” Guests were annoyed and amazed at Anna’s language and complete disregard for customer experience.

A lot of space, and also CLEAN. They give you towel and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are include with the packed, also many clases are available with 7 days in advance to book.

It's alright here, some of the staff are friendly. Unfortunately my excitement of the place has faded very quickly though

Have been a member since 2013, Covent Garden was one of the first Gymbox branches i joined and is still one of my favourites to this day. Great choice of machines, a full range for free weights, squat racks and spaces like the frame area. Classes are fun and exciting, clientele serious about training too so know i can get in, get a good work out done and leave satisfied from a great experience.

The fitness classes are great! Same as all the boutique gyms except they are all included in your monthly membership. The DJs always bring the right energetic vibes to get your workout done. I would definitely recommend gymbox.

Very nice dark themed gym. Tried for the first time today. Wanted to do the back workout but couldn't find weight assisted chin up/lats machine. So, decided to do shoulders workout. Free weights area is quite congested with people bumping into each other. Showers are weirdly noisy. Overall a decent but little different, themed gym.

Really good atmosphere at this gym. I find it hard to get myself motivated for my own workouts, but one of the instructors in particular (Ella) really helps get me fired up. I would usually dread the thought of a spin class, but she is fantastic and makes the workout super fun, as well as challenging. 5 stars!!!

Lovely gym, amazing instructors and fun classes. They are so varied I never get bored. It’s such a motivating way to exercise! Love the DJs they have on also, gets you pumped for your workout. Always clean and great value for money.

Gym box is a great gym with lots of facilities! Ella specifically has made my experience there fantastic with her classes and support! I highly recommend her classes if you haven’t tried them already!

By far one the best gyms in London! Great aesthetic and spacious gym, staff are more than helpful and go out their wait to meet your expectations. Facilities are undoubtedly the standout for me! Well deserved five stars!
