😠 As a member of David Lloyds for over 6 years I can honestly say this is the worst gym I have ever stepped foot in. It's a shame that it's so local to me. I have been attending this gym for over a year now and these benches or machines have not been repaired or upgraded. I don't know who managed the...     The worst David Lloyds I’ve ever been too! Be careful as the jacuzzi has sharp holes that suck your heel and foot in. I hurt myself twice in the outdoor jacuzzi and was told by CHARLIE alleged Manager to be caution when in the jacuzzi. Poor health and safety!! When you are entering the corridor towards the pool it smells of feces. I recommend not to join this site. My experience as a guest was horrible.

I don't know who managed the budget for the spa renovation but they are spending money in the wrong places. You can't be a top tier gym when you have duct tape on seats and the majority of your benches and equipment are falling apart. Head office really need to have stricter quality controls on how their gyms look.

    Still nothing has changed at this place two days in a row over 50 plus people turn up on time to get in and the club is closed because members of staff fail to open up. This is terrible no email pre warning or nothing ……one day I can accept but two days in a row ….terrible and the people who have taken the time to come and wait should be compensated we pay enough for our membership to actually use the gym not stand outside in the cold for an hour waiting for you to open up!! I actually can’t believe what I’m seeing right now. Not only a seriously over subscribed gym but still Poorly managed it never changes I’m so disappointed at the end of my membership I am cancelling.. (again)

    4 members vans broken into, in 1 week. Pay £90 a month, and David Lloyds can’t even bother with having adequate security. Both the entry and exit barriers are broken. Disgusting service my managers, no empathy. Will not be renewing my membership.

    For the premium you pay at David Lloyd - you'd be feeling short changed. The equipment and building is dated. The pool is very basic compared to other gyms. When my membership was due to expire I had some calls from their renewal team and when I was trying to negotiate a potential deal - they would just get frustrated and then on the last call when I decided to cancel the guy chasing his commission actually was abusive. For the same price I signed up with Virgin Active where the club is brand new , not over crowded , no steroid fueled egos and is a very pleasant environment to work out in.

    Do not join David Lloyd in Heston. They really chase you down to join and the emphasis is always “high quality club”. In reality when you do join, they treat you like you don’t exist. I have had countless problems in the first three months of joining. Customer services is appalling, you can never find the correct person to talk to and they just direct you to a generic email which you will never get a response from. I have called and emailed almost every day for one month to sort out one issue and I am always promised a call or email back which I only got after over a month of nagging. Every time I attend the club the receptionists don’t know when their managers are available or I get told the manager is too busy to talk to me. The club is totally oversubscribed, parking is a nightmare at peak times and if you do eventually park good luck finding a machine at the gym. Half the showers have had no hot water for three weeks. The adult lounge at peak time is filthy. I don’t really know what I’m paying for because this gym is very expensive for very poor customer care. The only good thing is that the classes are good and the spa retreat area offers a nice relaxation area. Save your money and go anywhere else!

    This place is rated 3.5stars below on Google for a reason. The good bits- - the facilities: steam rooms, saunas, indoor and outdoor heated pool, outdoor heated jacuzzi, good cafe, quiet work area, etc. The bad bits- - health and safety: the parasols in the outdoor area fell on my twice, despite only a very gentle breeze, the second time around causing me a bruise on my chest as the rib punctured me. Lifeguard just sits there and does nothing. No proper weights on them. They still left them up with no proper weights after the incident. - customer service: when I went to complain, I was forced to complete a very lengthy injury form for the benefit of the company, while I sat there in pain. I was told I was speaking with the assistant general manager who it turned out wasn’t, so I was lied to. I was then told someone would contact me back by COP to extend my membership by another few weeks, which also didn’t happen. You spend ages trying to call the phone line and no one ever picks up- try it yourself before signing up. In the end, I was never given the membership extension I needed as I was on holiday when it ended. So wasted a load of my time for nothing. Completely shocked they expect you to pay over £100 a month for this. As someone who has tried all the gym brands, I’d advise going elsewhere like Virgin Active or Fitness First who offer good customer service, you’ve been warned!

    By far the worst club in the #heston area. Taking advantage of the fact there aren’t alternatives available. Horrible customer service, broken equipments, facilities not working and no response to complaint filed over a month ago. Yet increasing prices. Plenty on hygiene issues, I just don’t understand the how they get the audacity to continue charging high fees. They should provide refund when the service offered in the contract aren’t really being offered. When a complaint is made, all they say someone will get in touch with you and then they forget about it. Only solution is to stop direct debit, if they charge to penalty then take them to court.     Just shabby at all levels. Probably the worst experience I have had of any private club gym. Staff do not either listen to customers or bother getting back to them. To prove it, they will not even respond to this review as they don't read reviews. They simply do not care about customers!

    Very disappointed, when I first went to see the club the lady who showed me around made it seem amazing, but after being a member for almost 4 months I completely regret joining. I wanted to cancel but singed a contract. Pools are dirty, jacuzzi almost never working and family swimming time always being reduced short notice. Too crowded for a “premium” leisure centre, if you’re main focus is gym, you’re better of at puregym. Needs better management. Staff are unhelpful and don’t really care about concerns and takes ages to reply. My husband is also a member and tried to down grade his membership because we’re hardly using the facility, but their policies are so harsh, so be very careful if you decide to join. Not worth the price!

    Awful club! No one answers the phone in reception. Management (Stewart) is full of it! All the promises, but no action. Ratings and comments sent after visits but no reply. I bet no one will reply here! Terrible, basic admin is missing. Poor customer service, clubs cancelled and no phone call to let us know. Not even worth one star! Kids club is good but do not feel valued as a member. Do not join. Not worth the money!

    The gym is really dirty and costumer service is very not good. I want to cancel the gym because of the quality of the gym unfortunately I can't cancel because I have signed a contract. Even though my contract is finished, they have put me on a new contact with higher monthly subscription. The worst gym ever and dirtiest gym in UK

    The facilities offered by the club are always very well maintained and there are a lot of activities to choose from and a lot of room for activities. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. Especially Elisha at reception is very intuitive to members and always greeting us with a friendly manner. Highly recommend.

    Staff could do with training in customer service and to ensure everyone feels welcomed. The spa is smaller then the rest of david lloyds spa facilities and there is no air conditioning which hinders the experience of the spa. Would recommend Hampton but it’s not the same quality as advertised

    From mess, dirty pools and hot tubs to wrong orders, I had to go get my drink myself because the staff forgot to bring it to me. Staff is mean, kids Club is a failure, cinema Club is basically watching a movie on a projector from laptop.😩Crying children that the caregivers do not pay attention to. A traumatic experience. I advise you to avoid this place.

    Very disgusting gym in terms of hygiene. Very poor air conditioning as well. If you want skin problems or any health problems, then please go ahead and join. The staff is very rude, mainly made up of Indian mummy’s boys that get their mothers to wash their underwear and make their food. This is not a gym for people who are serious about their training.

    They have sold the gym as being revamped, however after 6 months of being a regular member, I have found the club changing rooms and kids areas consistently filthy, whenever you raise it, it falls on deaf ears. The family parking bays are always occupied by people without families. What’s worse is the attitude and language used by some of the staff, I’ve been sworn at my bar staff for asking about a late coffee. Also staff regularly speak to eachother and use foul language regardless of if your kids are around. I would not recommend this club to anyone, it has a nice initial appearance but that’s where the appeal ends unfortunately.

    Been a member since childhood, never missed any payments or had any requests from the gym. The low standard and poor customer experience was acceptable as the gym was a gym and allowed a workout to take place without any further expectations from them. For the first time in about 20 years for a injury that occurred because of the poor management of the gym and not having the right process in place and having 0 structure I have been permanently affected with not being able to extend my ring finger. It took me just under 6 months to speak to someone about it and over 50 calls to request someone to call me. Resolution was not a resolution and further more when speaking to senior team members you get spoken down to. I’ve asked on numerous occasions to speak to a person with a level of power but no luck. Regardless I will continue to pay my £93 a month only because it’s a 7 minute drive for me however, would not recommend this Team to anyone. This is coming from someone who allowed them 6 months for a call back. The team here are a joke. The only good member of staff is Fabio which funnily enough is not even a permanent member. It’s also an eye opener to see how other David Lloyds club talk about this one. I’ve sent over my details for a call back, I sent one November 2021 and didn’t get a response, let’s see if I get a reply from this one.

    A great tennis and badminton court. The swimming pool is big, the sauna and the steam room is spacious. The building itself could do with an update, but the facilities are great 👍.

    I have written to David Lloyd Heston branch for the cancellation of my membership due to health issues (arthritis) I have not completed 3 months at the gym and had to unfortunately discontinue. I have not received any acknowledgement to me email addressed to the email on your website as well as to sales manager Maxi. Instead my membership fee has been deducted. I wish the club has to honour its membership agreement.

    You looking for that all in one Premium facility, look no further.David Lloyd Heston has it all from Tennis outdoor and Indoor to Squash, Babington, Swimming pools indoor and outdoor, kids pool(Family time is perfect for kids as loads to do),studio classes and a awesome gym. Spa facilities to relax and unwind. Oh and what's amazing is there's plans in place to add even more , WOW

    This gym has so much potential! Great equipment and facilities but it is always a mess. Weight are left everywhere and there are no signs in appropriate areas telling patrons to put their weights away. It gets to a point where the gym is unusable at times. Also trash like preworkout bottles are just left on the floor. I have never been to a gym with such poor gym etiquette! While I appreciate this is due the inexperienced patrons this issue needs to be addressed ASAP. The club needs to establish an appropriate gym culture and that is the responsibility of the staff and patrons. I have brought this up many times with the staff and it seems like they have given up on this mess.

    Very bad and rude staff …. I have acquired a membership for myself with the interest of blaze classes. 1-I asked when I came only to realize that my membership did not include that .. 2- As soon as I came I sat down on the desk and the receptionist rudely informed me to not sit there without eye contact or any welcoming gestures .. I informed him with the same tone that I saw someone yesterday sitting there and we had a lovely conversation and I am a new member i would have appreciated it more if I was informed in a nice way .. he replied “ well I wasn’t here yesterday but now I am “. 3- I bought 4 guest passes ( 14 day try out ) for my family that was not registered 3 - I was informed that there would be towels .. that also was not accurate Do not come here if you want to be treated good As a replay to the comment below .. I do not mind paying more for blaze or towels sir.. thank you but that did not happen .. I was Misinformed sir ..waiting for my refund ! Update 1 Apparently they haven’t responded or canceled and they are continually taking money from my card .. it’s like they are taking this personally .. very bad Update 2 They are not responding to my emails regarding canceling of the subscription even tho I haven’t even started one day and they keep sending me emails regarding my monthly fees that I have stopped from the bank . Basically they are ignoring my request lol Very bad

    Excellent gym and wonderful facilities, but it’s a shame that the management team is a joke. Update/reply: Got emailed by the club saying I can’t use the Hampton club as my membership doesn’t cover it. Upon me disputing this, the membership team has now re-confirmed that infact i do have access to most clubs inc Hampton, however hampton currently has temporary restrictions ( which is fair enough) The club should think twice about what they’re sending out in emails as the email they initially sent me was completely wrong. They should make clear that the club has temporary restrictions in the email , rather than just saying your membership doesn’t allow access to the club at all and to not use it as this is incorrect. Though have to give them credit for rectifying this quickly this time.

    A lovely welcome from reception on my way in left me feeling positive about my visit to see the club. I was greeted quickly by a very smiley lady called Stacey. She showed me the club and explained the options for membership and I got set up. The tennis facilities are amazing and I am looking forward to learning more in a friendly social place. A very helpful lady called Natalie helped me locate things on my first visit today and couldn't have been a friendlier face which I needed. Very happy I went in to see the club for myself and to be a member of David Lloyd which I have thought about doing for years.

    Amazing gym and facilities, You have plenty of space to work out without anyone getting in your way. Staff always on hand to help & advice when using the equipment. Clean & feels safe to return after a while. Annam is Always so welcoming, and has great energy shes a bubbly girl. Thanks David Lloyd Heston for emoloying such good staff.

    Pleasant visit prior to flying from Heathrow. Staff very polite and helpful, nice swimming pool although the sides of the pool were very slippery under foot and you had to watch your step. Steam room ideal and restaurant served good food, all I. All a nice visit.

    Great facility, friendly staff. Food is not close to the standards expected at the prices they ask. It is mediocre at best. The avacado I had was clearly well past its prime and the pizza a friend had tasted like it was frozen and reheated more than once. Really let's the place down

    Have been going for a few weeks and have not had any issues. I always see cleaning staff around the building but what the actual problem is that club members need to have some common sense and pick up their mess after themselves. You are not children but adults!!! The cleaning staff are only human and can only do so much. I have not used all the facilities but can definitely recommend the classes. The staff have never been rude and are very attentive. In my first week they showed me exactly were the classes were each day as I kept getting lost! The club is due to have a big refubishment hence the 4 starts.

    Getting through customer representatives is a joke. I visited the leisure facility with regards to my membership cancellation giving a month's notice in advance to the manager on shift who informed all noted were updated on the system. I am still getting charged for the service which I do not use. Your leisure facilities are out of use on most of the occasions and you still charge the full price. I need tye refund processed as soon as possible.

    Annam was incredibly helpful, great, and efficient! She assisted in outlining the features and advantages of the gym. She addressed all of my questions and gave me a tour of the gym. I definitely advise getting in touch with Annam in the sales department.

    Had a very thorough tour with Annam - she was excellent in telling us in detail about the facilities and answered all our queries. She is very friendly and full of enthusiasm. It’s a lovely club and we joined in the spot. Can’t wait to start!

    I was looking for a new gym for a very long time and couldn’t make my mind up on where to go. However I was recommended by a friend to check out David Lloyd’s. I was greeted by Annam from the sales team who was very friendly and made me feel extremely welcomed. She gave me a tour of all the facilities and ran me through all of the membership options and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend!!

    To start off with I’ve been looking to join David Lloyd’s, I started an enquiry which Annam picked up immediately and extremely professionally. Annam rang and me and booked me in for the right date, she also mentioned to me that It’d be great to book it for a certain day so it would work out cheaper for me overall. I am extremely pleased with Annam’s response and delivery of professionalism and extensive measures to provide me great customer service and a dedicated walk around of the facilities. I found the experience great and loved the ease walk through that I had with Annam. I would definitely recommend Annam.

    I was given a tour of David Lloyd Heston by Noor from sales on the 23rd January. She has good customer service skills and was friendly throughout. I was impressed with the quality and standard of the gym equipment, classes and spa and ended up joining that day. I'm now a regular there.

    My husband and I have been loyal members of David Lyowd's for over 24 years. We have no intention of changing our membership anytime soon due to the exceptional service provided by the staff and the top-notch facilities. We particularly appreciate Tracy's expertise in body pump, step aerobics, and Pilates classes. She is an invaluable asset to the club, helping to maintain our fitness and well-being.

    If there was a minus 5 star option I would have definitely chosen that. Awful management awful communication and a horrific experience has led me to this review. I am not a person who leaves reviews however I have been forced to with how a paying member of the club has been treated. Wouldn’t suggest anyone joining this gym - if you do encounter problems good luck trying to speak to any staff member. You won’t get hold of any of them and nor do they contact you when required. My membership went up by 50 percent without informing me. Not even worth the price.

    Great experience at David Lloyd! Always enjoy the spa retreat, was signed up by Stacey months ago & I’ve not regretted it since! Also shout out to Mustafa who is always super friendly! If you are looking for a good environment to work out, look no further.

    A nice gym with pleasant staff however the management team behind the scenes have a tendency for delayed responses and sometimes come across negligent. Currently, my cancellation process has been delayed on two different counts. In the latest correspondence , I received an email that thanks me by increasing my monthly membership fee. I hope we successfully reach a conclusion where we part ways amicably or agree on a just conclusion.

    As a member, this place is fantastic - well organised, clean and tidy. Swimming pool is excellent for the family or individuals. Gym equipment is managed and sanitised frequently. Staff are friendly too.

    It is one of the best places to revive and relax! The new spa for Platinum Members in Heston Branch is my second home. I can sit there for the whole day. The staff is very friendly and every step has been taken to ensure safety and hygiene.

    I've been going to the club for over 20 years now. Just showed up the first time for a review on my google. I have enjoyed every part of this club. I love the women's changing room. I have used the pool and jacuzzi, like forever here. Coffee shop as well has lovely staff, always. I've had a personal trainer years ago at the gym(for my own personal reasons). It was cool. Used the mini golf range and the curly fries in their cafe is great. Don't eat it! You are going to regret as you will gain weight eating it but if you work out then have it once in a while. Warning! They are way too tasty. No issues with parking ever. I haven't been to any other David Lloyd except this one. Due to covid things have changed a bit but it's still as much fun.

    It's not a gym. It's a vaccination place. Loved the sauna steam jacuzzi and the swim. I come here here every week and have used all facilities.

    Generally a bad gym. Outdated equipment, dirty jacuzzi, understaffed and in serious need of a renovation. Compared to other David lloyds clubs this one is very run down and due to lack of maintenance and has deteriorated in quality over time. I’ve been going here for a while and the lockers have never been cleaned (always a smell coming from them) furthermore the gym is simply too small to accommodate the amount of members. During peak timings things get quite hectic with people having to wait for others to finish too often. For a *premium* club that charges so highly my experience over the past year has been extremely disappointing. It will get the job done but I would recommend looking into the Hampton one or any others nearby as they are much better managed and maintained. The worst David lloyds club by a mile.

    Far less blue paper to clean machines today. Also catering needs to be stepped up. No peanut butter no jugs to make shakes. Had a good really workout though!

    Lots of exercise equipment all in very good condition. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Lots of racket sports facilities. Steam room and sauna. Lots of daily group sessions for adults and kids to join. Changing rooms with showers. Restaurant area. Everything is very clean and staff are very friendly and very helpful.

    Fantastic centre, loads of facilities. Large variety of tennis court surfaces, lovely to play on as it was recently renovated. Staff are extremely helpful across the centre, met some amazing people there. The food and coffee in the café restaurant is delicious, however one small issue is that service takes long - my friend waited 45 mins for his burger to arrive, and it was pre-ordered on the app. 10/10 would recommend, this centre is fab.

    The place is neat and clean Staff friendly and helpful Only one drawback I can think of is too many kids in the ladies changing room mothers and kids must really have a separate room it’s quite uncomfortable to have kids around when you need to change your clothes !! Kids in the jacuzzi 😒that’s another point.

    I went to a blaze taster class and I had a great time with Jade. The rooms are spacious and equipments are new. I tried their three eggs omelette and honestly it was one of the best omelettes I ever had. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful.

    My friend took me to visit on her guest pass and I enjoyed swimming and aqua aerobics. I then used the sauna and steam room. It was very relaxing, not too crowded and there was very spacious changing facilities. Very impressed 😊👍

    I've signed it with the help of Stacey and haven't regretted it since. She showed me around explained my options clearly and I've chosen accordingly. A great experience.     A great spa and gym place for me and my family (2 young children). Being a member for a year now I highly recommend it, facilities are great, lots of parking, classes for adults and children- tennis, swimming. Always clean. The children love the food, I think the portions are generous, tasty and has a good selection of food. There is a great soft play there for the kids while we eat, work or chill out all included in our membership. I dealt with Stacey from the start and she has always been so helpful, informative, professional and patient with all my requests!

    Great experience today. The duo Hashmeet and Mustafa were fantastic. Great host. Very professional. Treated our family and kids very well. Swimming facilities were great. My mum and kids enjoyed it.

    Annam made my experience at the club so enjoyable. She was so informative and very helpful. She gave me a great tour of the facilities and spoke with me in detail about which membership would best suit me. Would highly recommend to go see Annam if you’re planning to sign up at Heston!!!

    Great Experience!! I was very kindly greeted by Annam who provided me an in depth tour of the facilities available at David Lloyds. Her enthusiasm and confidence persuaded me to create a membership as soon as I could! Such a great individual with such an amazing charisma.     Noor was exceptional, she is very professional and a real asset to David Lloyd. I would highly recommend everyone to book a tour with her. I doubt anyone comes close to her customer service skills

    We had a fantastic experience at David Lloyd's; it's the best gym I've ever been to. The customer service is exceptional, particularly thanks to Tom, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. My partner and I initially went just to take a look around, but we were so impressed that we decided to become members on the spot. The facility is very clean and provides a relaxing atmosphere.
