Guys - the gym is too warm. In the summer it’s unbearable and now in the winter it’s similar - and stuffy! I have addressed this issue numerous times to management and keep getting the same reply “we’re aware and are fixing the AC units”. It’s simply not good enough - especially for the monthly cost. Bring in some fans and open some windows? Sadly, when my membership is up I’ll be leaving and joining another gym which is a fraction of the price, cooler and better equipment.

At peak times, this place is horrendous. For such a massive gym, there actually not that much kit or that many benches. I've given up and gone home a few times... Which is pretty poor considering this is £100+/month. Edit: had enough. Classes impossible to book. There's nowhere near enough kit for peak times - you'll spend most of your workout waiting around. The place is filthy, it's not worth the money. Staff are clearly having a great time messing about and chatting behind reception while the gyms a tip. The Covent garden branch is slightly better, but still not worth the money. Quit my membership.

This would have been a good gym if only it wasn't so crazy overcrowded. You pay £70 a month, sign up for a class and actually manage to get in? Classes are packed to the point where there are no weights, matts or steps left. You paid for a towel? Too bad, because you're not getting one. Wanted to use the treadmill. Nope, there is none available. Don't even think of going in the morning before work because the 'ladies' in the changing rooms will push and shove you out of their way as 5 women at a time try getting ready in the same mirror. Every other shower is broken (and smells weird) and don't even venture to the toilets. I was one of the first people to sign up to the gym, long before the Elephant Park development, and I was promised that they would limit the number of members to make sure that the gyms are not too packed. It is now unreasonably packed in the mornings until 9am and the same until about 8pm in the evening (until all the classes finish).

AVOID AVOID AVOID! The gym is so full that you CAN'T BOOK ANY TIME IN, you'd have to book a week in advance to be able to go. In 4 months if I visited it 5 times it was too much. The staff is not helpful, they don't pick the phone when you need them, they don't answer emails. When they're trying to sell a package they'd do anything but once you're a member FORGET IT. I knew I would move out of the area in 3 months so I've done a 3 month contract and guess what? They told me I had to stay a minimum of 4 months because my 1st month hasn’t started on the 1st day of the month (ALTHOUGH IT HAS STARTED ON THE 3RD!!!! THIS IS ABSURD!!!!) Not to mention when you are finally able to book it, there's still no equipments available cuz it's just packed. Honestly the worst gym I've ever been to. Very disappointed as I was a member in Victoria and the club there is completely different. I'm starting to think it's this specific club that's like that. Just avoid!

I was excited to visit a different gymbox especially as I was told by the front desk that it was a similar size to farringdon, so I definitely expected something amazing. Sadly this branch fell short for me. I found the gym to be very cramped especially the machine/ free weights area. On top of this the gym was extremely busy and despite the responsibility for weights to be put back by the members, there was not one member of staff visible let alone tidying throughout the time I was there. Zero organisation in relation to the cable attachments, just scattered around the area. Female changing rooms were overall okay, besides discarded hair all over the floor and one toilet full of poo 😑. When departing, zero acknowledgement from the reception staff which is a shame as their other branches have improved on this. Probably would not return when considering the other great branches around.

Ive been with gymbox for 3 years and this is the first time Ive been disappointed with the place. There is so much broken equipment, with essential equipment e.g. Bench press/cables taking a week to repair, which seems too long considering this is one of your busiest gyms. It also feels like the place is a mess a lot of the time, showers being increasingly dirty etc. I get the feeling the brand is prioritising edgy marketing and bringing in new members instead of focussing on the fundamentals - equipment, cleanliness, functioning AC - which budget gyms down the road have managed to workout. I'd rather have a gym with working AC than one with a DJ (although not shading the DJs they are all awesome).

AVOID!!! Not worth the money. Didn’t like my experience at all. Lacks what I need. When I joined, they had a lot of classes, easy access etc. Now it’s simply A SHAME. You can’t even go there any time you want, you’ll have to book two days in advance. I understand the situation etc, but it is you who sells all the memberships. If you don’t have enough capacity, limit your sells. There’s Castle fitness across the road which is 3 (!!!) times cheaper and has a pool! I feel ripped off. The staff is not helpful at all. And my pet hate is that staff NEVER wears masks, didn’t even wear them at the worst coronavirus times. I honestly wish I made another choice in the beginning and went to Castle fitness. Once Idk why but the payment didn’t go through, I didn’t even notice that, because I haven’t been visiting the club for a long time. And the first time they reached out they started THREATENING ME that they will hand my debt to the collectors!!!! Me, who’s been paying £80 every bloody month despite of not going there at all! Genuinely terrible attitude towards clients. I WAS SHOCKED!!!!! Oh I forgot to mention the worst cancellation policy ever!! They’ll try to take from you as much as they can!!! Even if you haven’t visited the club for 4 month in a row and kindly ask to terminate your membership several days before the next period, they’ll make you stay and pay for another month! Because they don’t care about you, they only care about money!

The gym itself is amazing, in terms of equipment, hygiene and classes. It is also very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The only issue I had as being a straight male is that the gym itself is quite gay based and some members are quite predatory, and therefore I experienced a couple of uncomfortable moments. I decided to cancel my membership because of this ,even though I had already signed a contract for a few months in advance. I sought help from a member of staff as I knew it would be difficult to get a refund, a big thank you to Peter who went out of his own way to help when it came to this situation, he was very professional and friendly, took the matter seriously and dealt with it as soon as possible in order to help me. Big thanks to Peter!

This is the closest gym to my house, so it was a natural choice for me to join, but here's why I didn't (this is my experience, and my opinion): You're expected to join without trying the gym first, if you want to try it, you can pay for a £20 day pass which they will take off your joining fee. To get the day pass online you need to fill in all your personal details. When I arrived, I then had to fill in all those details again on a sheet of paper. That was mildly irking. Then I was sent in, no mention of anywhere I couldn't use, or if towels were included or not (as a result I didn't take a towel). I was then trying different machines, and while on the treadmill, I was told by a trainer that was being used by a class and I had to get off. There was no sign or anything to say this before I got on, and it was not inside the studio. In the defence of the trainer, he was very polite, and as soon as the class was over, he came and found me to say I could use it now. What bothers me is how was I to know it was being used by a class in the next room? I was then phoned a week later to ask if I'd like to join. I expected more from a Gymbox, and so did not join.

So much crowded at times. Apparently the whole South London has only one gym 🙈 It's always so hard to find a vacant class slot and equipment. It's over crowded

Visited today on a guest pass. The space is lovely, but I will never come back for 3 reasons: 1) tiny dumbbell area and general dearth of upper body machines (esp cable machines); 2) no mirrors in the barbell area, probably a personal preference, but they do help; 3) weird machine selection. Disappointed, considering the price.

It’s a great space with some fantastic PT’s and the atmosphere is unreal. However they need MUCH more ‘traditional equipment, from machines to benches and in particular the pulley machines. Wait times have ruined several works outs. There’s an abundance of space for more equipment. Sadly if this doesn’t happen very soon I and many others will be leaving

Staff was confused if Gympass members could access the gym or not, after a lot of back and fourth they let me in. Hope management informs the staff adequately about the various partnerships and memberships the Gym has to avoid such issues. Also lost my shoes while visiting this gym, could not get a locker key from the reception as well. So clearly not a safe gym for your belongings.

Beautiful gym, shame about some of the PTs. Not sure the air conditioning works? The air always feels stagnant. Positives: Always clean. Good overall equipment (When you can use it) Attentive to the use of space (they changed the layout, decreasing the number of punching bags) Negatives: Music is always too loud... we have headphones for a reason. Classes spilling into the gym (the track) this isn’t f45 One PT in particular always take the whole track doing meme exercises. This stops people using the sleigh, tyre flips and farmers walks. A lot of machine accessories need renewing/replacing .. i.e. the ropes for the cables machine. For such a big gym you’d expect them to have a safety bar squat.

Cool gym and well located, but be aware of the following: 1. floor space is poorly utilised - weights area feels cramped and could be expanded given how busy it gets. Lots of "dead" or underutilised space that could be used to alleviate congestion. 2. Equipment quality is pretty average. But bigger issue is that they take forever to fix things when broken - in some cases things will be out of order for months. 3. Sometimes there are random "classes" that aren't on the timetable that are highly disruptive to the rest of the club - eg dance classes (not open to members) in the studio where music is played at hazardous volumes (so loud that the ground shakes). 4. Staff is overall great but some generally don't seem bothered when you report issues or try to make them aware of things. 5. The AC is inconsistent. The club sometimes feels like a sauna - not sure if its an "energy saving" setting or faulty control, but there are times when the AC works and times when it just feels like you're in a funky, tropical marsh

The gym is amazing but it doesn’t matter because is always packed and there is no space neither enough equipment. The staff at the reception are not at all helpful and the membership terms are not customer friendly. I would expect more for what it cost, it’s just a fancier pure gym

This gym is hugely overcrowded and under-equipped. The weight areas are often packed to the point where it's impossible to properly work out. There's very limited leg equipment and not enough pin or plate-loaded machines for other body parts. The endless functional training spaces frequently sit empty while people desperately wait turns for the traditional workout equipment. The gym is large enough to install much more kit, which at least would bring this branch in line with other Gymbox branches such as Bank or Farringdon which have almost double the amount. Classes are impossible to book with such high demand. The loud, blaring music adds to the chaos, especially at peak hour when they often have an DJ, even though most of the membership is wearing AirPods and trying to listen to their own music. For the premium price, facilities and equipment are sorely lacking. Management is well aware of these significant issues from endless member complaints and reviews, yet does nothing to rectify the problems. An endless frustration rather than a place to productively train.

Great gym, I usually spend 2+hrs here as it is so easy to just lose track of time training there! The classes are really good also and shower/sauna facilities are cleaned regularly

Lovely gym but I begin to feel that it doesn't take long for the excitement of the place to fade. It's the nicest club out of the bunch but lacks certain machines that other competition have. Definitely not worth the higher membership cost

Trying to leave this gym is an absolute joke. I left in the correct time period and was told I didn’t cancel it. I cancelled again and they have told me I now owe more money. I spoke to various people and was told they would look into the situation, but haven’t had a call for weeks. Do not cancel your membership online because they will claim they haven’t got it and scam you out of money. No consideration at all.

Not sure how to feel... I recently joined Gymbox as it offers lots of different clases and it has great equipment. The gym is great and very clean, however the classes are supposed to be booked at 7am the day before (you can login after 7am but all the clases will be fully booked) you need to be very fast. Yesterday I was meant to attend the 7am spinning class I was right on time but I didn't worry as I had a booking. When I went to the room at 7:00 there were no bikes available, someone had checked me in and used my spot. I mentioned it to the instructor (who I then found out is the studio manager) and he just said to me, 'sorry no bikes available'. I went to reception to make a complain and they mentioned this is a recurrent issue. My question is, if this is a recurrent issue, why don't they check the list everytime before the class, that way they avoid people taking someone else's spot. As a member of the gym, you get a strike if you don't a attend one class and you get banned from classes for 2 weeks if you do it twice (I think it's fair). My question is, what do I get from Gymbox if they are the one unable to guarantee me my place? After all I did book it. I don't think it's too difficult to fix this issue, make sure you call people on the list! I really hope they improve this situation because it's not a cheap gym and it has to be more organised. Blaming new members for not knowing the rules is silly, Gymbox must control it. I'm a new member and I'd never take someone else's place. They should ban people who do that.

Predatory and dishonest scam pricing. I was told I could sign up for a student pricing for 60£ a month no introductory fee or anything after a first month free. When the first bill comes around it is 75£. With cost of living increasing as a student I could no longer afford a membership so I tried to cancel. When I ask to cancel on the 3rd month they said I could early terminate but for 180£ upfront. While crying inside, I paid it and was assured by staff 3 times before leaving I would never have to pay another pence going forward. Today I have gotten another bill for another 75£ and the threat of debt collectors calling.

Please note: the 3 stars are related ONLY to the floor set-up (machines/weights etc.). I am massively enjoying the other aspects of the gym, such as the broad range of Aerial/Pole classes. The free weights/benches/weighted machines area is a mess. It does really needs to be re-arranged, as there is no space, you need to keep moving around for people passing through. It is just too cramped to be safe. Also: other members keep leaving weights around. This isn't only a safety issue; I personally really struggle to move around heavy weights and to unload equipment that was previously used by a far more advanced/strong user than me. It would be good to see staff members going around checking on the situation and reminding people not to leave their equipment around. Also, the Kneeling leg curl machine is literally in front of what I can remember being a Chest Press machine. This can make female users feel on the spot.

I was paying a pretty high price and the quality doesn’t compare to cheaper gyms. The equipment and facilities just aren't what I expected for the price. I'd like to point out however, this issue is more specific to the Elephant and Castle branch. - The issue starts with the gym opening late, the correct time is 6:00 and it ends up opening later. It might not seem like a big deal, but it's annoying, especially when it's cold or raining outside. - Then the air conditioning isn't great. It often feels too hot, almost like a sauna. A more consistent temperature would be nice. - The music is always extremely loud, which doesn't make sense because most of us have our earphones in trying to listen to our own stuff. It just adds to the noise (and chaos). - For a few days we even got the great sewage aroma. By then, the workout hasn’t even started and it’s already a bad experience. - In terms of the workout, the gym feels too crowded most of the time, and there's never enough equipment, especially for leg workouts, and the area for weights is really cramped. It's frustrating not to have what you need and even when it's not super busy, I find myself waiting for machines or weights. - If the gym didn’t have space it would be fine, but there's a lot of empty space that's not being used well. It could be organised way better. Honestly, the only reason I continued going for as long as I did was the PTs and the quality of the showers/towels. Though the price x quality wasn’t there and I felt scammed. The gym has this upscale look but the actual experience doesn't match up. It feels like I'm paying for the look rather than the quality. It's clearly the owner(s) being stingy and not wanting to elevate the quality to obtain a significant profit.

Always overcrowded and overpriced! Classes are ok but always packed with people. During some classes they take over part of the gym area in order to accommodate everyone, so you end up in the way of people not taking part in the class. Class instructors play EXTREMELY loud music in the middle of the gym floor, that added to the gym floor already loud music is just nerve wrecking, it feels like a sound system competition. I've seen instructors shouting at people to move out of the way because they didn't realise there was a class happening. The weight area is ridiculously small for the size of the gym, only one of each equipment, so expect a lot of sharing during peak times. No one bothers to put weights back, even the personal trainers and instructors that work at the gym. The whole gym floor is always a complete mess, weights and bars everywhere. No swimming pool. The whole thing just looks like an expensive designer gym but in reality is just a rip off for what you actually get. The one good thing is that they have good quality equipments, cardio machines e etc. but that's about it really. Definitely not worth the price! I've been a member for 2 years just because is right next to my house but I think is time to go somewhere else.

Great gym. It can get really busy at peak hours, but so can any gym really. The best part of it are the staff, they are really easy going and welcoming. One of the staffs who’s now a friend of mine Dylan GG always makes sure everyone’s in a good mood before their workout and constantly spreads laughter and joy.

I would not recommend this gym to anyone. Not only are the facilities limited and over crowded, the staff can be rude and unwelcoming to say the least. I attended a class 2 minutes late after experiencing the worse day at work and was ORDERED to leave the class immediately. I asked why i was told to LEAVE IMMEDIATELY in the rudest and most embarrassing way 4 times before i finally walked out When i asked to cancel my membership i was told i had to pay to do this! DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM

Weightlifting area far too small and has a lack of equipment which is also poorly maintained. It is always really crowded and impossible to train. Sauna was broken for over a month at one point. Tried to cancel membership wouldn’t let me was contacting my bank trying to forcibly take my money. Eventually I was able to cancel after about a dozen emails and multiple phone calls. Have since signed up to TheGym which is much better.

Gyms are quite intimidating especially for someone who has social anxiety or just the fear of people watching them. I recently started going to the Gymbox and I’ve never felt so confident in myself, I had the best experience and was advised plus informed on what’s best for me. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, I wanted to say a big thank you to the lovely Louise for making me so comfortable and confident, she was so friendly and wholesome. I advise anyone who’s just starting gym to come gym box and find the lovely Louise to help you :) <3

READ CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING - THE RYANAIR OF LONDON GYMS CUSTOMER SERVICE | Membership did not highlight when I signed a 3 month contact that you had to give one months notice to cancel otherwise you are charged an extra month until you do cancel. Customer service response at Head Office was you should have read the contract in detail before signing. When I replied to their email, they just sent a sorry to see you go email. Gymbox is one of the most expensive gym brands in London but this customer service and attitude reflects a bargain basement approach to customer service. Their own reception admit freely the way they extend customers contracts is unprofessional and often not highlighted when customers join.

Friendly reception staff and mostly clean space. However, if you want to have a membership that gives you access to classes this is not it. Unless you book a week in advance there is no way you can get a booking. Even if you go on the waitlist, it is NOT happening. Was looking forward to trying different classes but impossible to book unless you have reminders etc etc which is extremely boring.

Excellent value for the gym. Really great facility with fantastic equipment, while the initial price may put you off, the gym offers such a varied and excellent amount of facilities and classes. If you're not really into classes or prefer simple workouts, it may not be for you. However, if you're a fanatic or just like a challenge it's something people should take advantage of as the trainers are all excellent and the gym offers you combat sport training at the fraction of the price you would be paying at a specialist gym. The one negative I would say is it's often quite hard to hear the instructors during classes as the music is so loud. This is especially problematic with the combat sports where instructions can be pretty important. It would be helpful for the facility managers to turn the sound down just around the boxing and dojo areas while classes are in session.

I’m from the USA. I played American football in college. I still do similar athletic training - cleans, squat, bench and deadlifts. It’s the best gym I’m ever been to for serious no bs training. Fast bars, platforms, agility area, stuff to throw etc. Surprised there is nothing like this in the USA - it would do awesome. Kudos for it not being a cross fit gym also. For those visiting London it’s 20lbs a session. Easily the best place to train. Lockers seem solid although I don’t use much.

Signed up for their Hardcore class yesterday. Turned up on time only to find out that there were so many people in the class there were no mats left (pretty essential for an abs class if you ask me). PEOPLE HAD TO USE THEIR TOWELS AS MATS. Actually saw him turn away 2 people, and I can bet you they had registered for the class. The instructor announced that he let some extra people in because they were *considering* signing up with the gym. Thanks for prioritising your current members Gymbox! The instructor didn't even have any space to show the exercises because the class was SO CRAMMED. Once everyone started the exercises it was chaos. Strangers' feet coming as you from all directions...and to think that I have to pay for this... This started happening way too often Gymbox really need to sort their sh*t out.

Overcrowded Gym, There is no space at the classes and very difficult to book a class and to get to the studio 1 as this is at the end of the gym floor. Please go there in busy time and see how all this look before you sign in. I have lost so much many because I couldn't book a class. The weight floor looks busy too. I do not recommended really over price for the service.

Love this gym! Great space, excellent equipment and wonderful classes! Only downfall is that you really have to set your alarm the morning before a class you want to join so you can sign up to it - otherwise it will be fully booked in literally 4 minutes. Other than that, would totally recommend!

Great gym in terms of equipment, everything you could want for strength and conditioning training. Only criticism would a shortage of benches for bench press. It's a real struggle to get a bench in the mornings. The free weights area also is slightly too small relative to the large size of the gym. Relatively very expensive, but you pay for what you get.

Really fun gym, Amazing classes and amazing instructors. Expensive, joining fee isn't explained and can only book classes 1 day in advance.

We were just introduced to the gym by Rory. He is amazing at getting you to set up quick. I really had a good time as my first session with him. I would definitely recommend to my friends. Five stars. :)

A great place to train. Lot's of equipment, excellent classes and instructors with friendly approachable staff with excellent customer service skills. Highly recommended E&C gymbox

GYMBOX E&C is the biggest club they have. It’s like a hive when you walk in, so many people doing their workouts. Don’t be intimidated, most people are just in their own lane. They have a DJ on hand most evenings. The classes are really well done, and the teachers are great. They are often difficult to get a spot in, so book early. The locker rooms are large, have good showers, and the women’s has a sauna .

Been here a few months and absolutely love it! Great energy, friendly PT’s and front desk team. As most gyms, the 6-9pm hours are busy but that’s the norm with every gym. The only feedback would be to have better control on the volume of music at the gym. Noice cancelling headphones are kinda pointless and not everyone enjoys working out with music as loud as the clubs in Ibiza or Madrid

Specifically on the Bike and Beats class. Historically Power Battle used to run which was amazing to actually focus on performance and the classes were incredibly coached, as a keen cyclist I was really disappointed to see them pulled from the timetable. Bike and Beats remains which is fine, quite gimmicky and so much ridiculous up/down/side to side. Some brilliant instructors can make it good but I can only think of a few and clearly most feel the same as their classes are hard to get onto! However, Florin in particular seems incredibly inexperienced and erratic, no experience and rarely on the bike himself so keeps telling you to keep going and you feel like you will pass out (I workout or spin a lot so I'm fit and even I find it unbearable, let alone new members!) And Sebastian also doesn't make you feel particularly comfortable. Highly recommend Jenny and Lois (victoria branch!) .

Best gym in London that I've been to! The equipment is great (loads of it which is good for peak times), the space is really unique (nice views from the upstairs studio), and the classes are also really unique and fun. I especially like the aerial classes Gymbox offers - as well as being fun and effective they're also excellent value compared to other aerial studios in London. The gym is never too busy, and most of the time I'm able to book into classes that I want to go to (even if it's through the waitlist). The changing rooms are nice and clean.

Amazing settings!! Great staff!! Peter has been so helpful from start to finish. He explained everything and made me feel welcome before I’d even completed my sign up. Having come from a tiny gym I was quite nervous about stepping into such a huge gym but the blonde guy with glasses at the reception was extremely helpful. Genuinely think I’ve found my second home :)

Great gym. I’ve tried a few before, but haven’t found one as motivating and great energy as Gymbox Elephant and Castle. Staff are exceptionally chill, and the VPT expertise incredible. The gym gets quite busy but always somewhere to work a sweat!

Partner cancelled membership and confirmed if anything was outstanding. They advised they don’t know. Next thing we get is a legal letter from a debt collector for over £200 for a months membership. Gymbox have made no attempt to contact us nor told us anything was outstanding. Horrendous way to treat a customer. My guess is they just sell off the debt cheaply and don’t care about the customer as they are leaving. Have cancelled my membership as a result too now. Be careful.

Pro: Large area, great classes, boxing facilities, sauna, very clean, lots of racks and friendly people. Downsides: classes are difficult to book due to high-demand & (overly) busy during peak-hours

One of the best gym that I have ever been to. Fantastic facilities and very helpful staff. They even have a sauna in here! I would really recommend the endurance classes here, they are an absolute hard work!

Great gym! The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Peter has been attentive ever since I signed up, in order to make sure I feel comfortable in this place. The classes are amazing, and there’s an atmosphere of motivation as soon as you step into the gym. It’s worth it for the price you have to pay! : )

This is one of the best Gymbox studios. So much space and never feels too busy. Some of the best instructors and PTs are at this gym and the atmosphere when the DJs play is great. Loads of great classes.

Decent gym with excellent facilities. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Gets EXTREMELY busy at peak times (5pm-8pm week nights). Major downside - lack of decent air conditioning / airflow, which for a gym is pretty poor. Vents don’t appear to be on a lot of the time or merely pumping out very light air. In the summer months this doesn’t appear to be turned up to compensate for the hotter weather.

Decent gym, as always, there are a few dumb members and PT's who never put the weights back. But, there are some amazing teachers. Boris the spin instructor is out of this world, but trying to get in to his class is tougher then Berghain in berlin.

Its a big thanks to the GYMBOX team that I have transformed by mind and body! Special mention to Andrew, Rommell, Ryan and Will Millar!

Best gym in London! Huge and cavernous so there’s always space to workout. Desk staff are friendly and helpful. Classes are top tier (shout out to Sharol for the Commercial dance class!!) Live DJs are awesome and the whole space is just very welcoming and empowering. I paid £79 a month with corporate discount and it’s 100% worth the money! Best gym experience around

I love this gym - they have all the equipment I need, and more, and classes and trainers are amazing. BUT I'm speaking as someone who can visit any time of the day - might be a different story for those visiting in peak times. Over the past few years I've been able to book on all the classes I wanted, bar one or two, but you have to be ready on the app when the new dates get released. Failing that, going on waitlist will nearly always get you in. They lose their final star as although the place is always very clean and staff are lovely, it's a mess all throughout the day. Weights and equipment are often strewn everywhere, there's a cracked mirror in the studio, towels are often left abandoned on the gym floor, and dumbbells are rarely in the right racking. Granted this is the members' fault, but for nearly £90 a month you expect someone making sure the environment isn't a shambles. If these were sorted it would be amazing.

As a new member the space and the classes I’ve been to so far are really good. The team (especially Maya) were really helpful and friendly making the whole joining process simple and easy.

Gyms have decent kit out but the customer service is appalling. They seem to operate on a high volume budget provider business model so will not help you at all if you have an issue with your membership or contract. Gym is overpriced for what it is, despite the heavy investment in marketing. Reception team rude and uninterested. Sometimes literally making out at the desk. I left gymbox early and now going through dispute. Gymbox is only concerned how to take more money of you. I was planning to return to Gymbox once I had a little more time but I due to this bitter experience it is safe to say that I will not step foot in Gymbox again.

Amazing gym with new and various equipment, big spaces for all kind of classes and finally not a gym in the basement with big windows and natural light! Staff is alas great, smiley and friendly.

Had a fantastic experience at this gym during my visit to London. The place is beautiful, shiny, and new with a lot of large windows and natural light. Great equipment and free weights complimented by a lot of open space, rigs, squat racks, and cardio machines. A special thanks to Jessica, Ethan, and Amy for being so friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this gym to our friends.

Been a member get for a few years now. The gym is always clean and anything that is old or breaks is fixed or replaced quickly. The staff and members are really friendly and the classes are amazing and even if I forgot to book early and go on the waitlist. I get into the class 99% of the time.

I’ve been a member for over a year and the gyms are really decent, kitted out well with professional equipment. I choose to have the option to attend all gyms across the city - the Bank site i particularly like and it gives a more old school spit and sawdust vibe.

A really excellent gym. Great environment and fantastic array of classes to cater for all needs.

  • 2/5 DAVID R. 2 years ago on Google
The main business of the gym seems to be the classes that you book trough the app but how can I book a class if they are always busy ? I don’t understand. I think they just register more people that they can afford to host so many people ofc end up just not going because is impossible to book a class so there is no quality training at the end of the day because will be too much people or just you will not train at all . You can join a waiting list ? Like I have no otter plans to be waiting for something to happen or not like a lottery to train when I’m paying 70£ for it 😂😂. And then if you want to train as a solo the area for weight lifting is just really small (because the rest of the gym is meant to classes that you cannot never book) Two stars because the facilities are super fancy. 😎

I haven’t used Gymbox before I tried this one and so didn’t know what to expect. Adam was very welcoming and showed me around. Seriously impressed with some of the equipment which I haven’t seen at regular gyms before.. staff were very friendly and Adam took his time with showing me around. Changed my view on Gymbox .. one to watch…

Had a few pals recommend this gym, the location is very ideal for me. Met Adam the GM. Sound bloke. Very relatable. Spoke about our England experiences and how he’s on track for the golden boot on the 5s, great achievement at any level. Gave me some great techniques to improve muscle mass. Cheers Adam.

After having no gym at my hotel for the weekend, I saw Gymbox online and purchased a day pass. The gym was really clean, with friendly staff and a wide range of equipment. As it was my first time at Gymbox I felt apprehensive but the receptionist Amma made the whole experience smooth sailing and without issues, making me feeling like I was back at home using the gym I use daily. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area looking for a day pass/membership. Thank you for your help. 😊

The staff are also really friendly - Dylan gave me a very helpful tour with lots of info, and the staff at reception were welcoming and chatty.
