I have been a member of the Gym for over 5 years. During the lockdown period the gym continued taking monies (after expressly requesting for a pause on the membership which was a pay as you go membership with no commitment) out and when I notified they stopped the payments but wouldn't refund the monies already charged. For months they have not been able to provide a response and any time I call the rep says that their manager (Ian Hassett, i believe) would look into this and come back. This has hasn't happened after 3 months and today I cancelled my direct debit and am pursuing with my bank. Most horrible experience to go through especially when I have been a member for such a long time. Shame on the gym management for not sorting this through in a more respectful way.

I have been waiting for a refund from this gym since the November 2020 lockdown. As it was, the payment was overcharged and I paid more than I was supposed to. When I speak to them on the phone, apparently no-one there can process the refund for me. When I email the 'managers' I get no response. I understand that Covid-19 will have bought difficulties but I find this customer service (or lack of) absolutely disgusting. I wonder if I will ever get my refund...

Close to our office, doesn’t get very busy, has sauna & steam room. Also, we get discount for our subscription, I guess it doesn’t get any better than this 👍

Due to covid 19, I have been unable to train at the gym or go into London (I have had to move away for personal reasons). I have sent about 10 emails, Facebook messages and contact forms over the past 3 months to ask them to cancel my membership and have politely asked for a refund (I paid for a full year in advance in January before all this happened). They have ignored every single message I have sent, and there is no phone number for head office anywhere on the Internet. I don't really want to call reception because I know how busy they can get, but I now have no choice as they aren't replying to my queries. So now I am paying for 10 months of a gym membership that I cannot use. Professionalism is all I'm asking for.

My contract with this gym ended on 2017 and 4 years After, they took Money from me (about 300 pounds ). I sent severals emails to Ask a refund ,they just Reply " send us thé proof that you had cancel your Membership and After that we will discuss about a refund " and didn't even Reply After . So i will advice you first to run away from this gym and for all people who had the same problem as me , to take action.

Was a member for 5 months so let’s start with the good stuff: -Super friendly staff at the front desk -Decent selection of weights and equipments including Olympic bars and squat rack -Clean changing room and showers Not so good stuff (constructive feedback): - One of the staff/trainers (one with the dreads) has very poor gym etiquette. Hogs the weights and machine on several occasions during peak hours (bear in mind he’s not personal training anyone) - emailed them prior to writing this review but fell in deaf ears.

Management don't respond. They overcharge, don't refund and pester for money that isn't owed. Facilities very basic anyway, don't waste your time or money, it will be a nightmare cancelling. Terrible communication and massively unprofessional. They also lie.

Shocking, read the below reviews, terrible senior management and lack of communication, they don't respond, they don't refund or cancel when they are supposed to, they overcharge you. Avoid! Would give it zero stars if it was an option.

Been visiting this gym for the last 6 months and love the quality and variety of the classes on offer. Given it largely targets clientele who work in the area, there are very few late evening (post 7pm) classes, which is my only crib.. the trainers are top notch and friendly, and the front office team are friendly and helpful too. The changing rooms do tend to get crowded around peak hours (7-8am, 12-2pm, 5-6pm) but it's never impacted me/ held me up. I've never found the sauna/ steam room too crowded either. Lastly, the pricing is above that of budget gyms but very good value for money given the facilities and classes on offer. Definitely recommend it!

This is my regular gym, as I work nearby I go most lunchtimes. They have a good selection of different classes during popular times (morning, lunchtime, after work) and a good online system which allows you to book up to 5 days in advance. A rolling contract means if I move jobs I can cancel my membership easily and am not locked in. There is a good selection of machines & equipment (not that I use them unless in class) and PTs are always on the floor if you need help. The changing rooms are adequate, could be cleaner but it depends on what time you go - it'll be messy during peak hours. Plenty of lockers and showers as well. For the price, I'm very happy with the gym.

Great space, especially since the refurbishment. I could see why some of the reviewers were unhappy over a hear ago etc. but it really is a great gym since the refurb. Many classes with enthusiastic instructors, plenty of showers, at least 15 in the women’s room. The gym is very well priced, but even better are the prices for the personal training. Overall, friendly and attentive staff, and a great space.

Getting hold of anyone when you want to cancel your membership seems impossible. The contact form on their website does not get responded to - or maybe just in the instances when it suits them. Overall not enough classes in the gym.

Prior to covid-19 Inkust say the gym was 4 starts +. Now it for sure a 1 star. Opening hours have changed dramatically and membership terms and the actual package we signed for also changed. Getting in touch with the management team is near impossible and emails go answered. I sent an email asking for my membership to be cancelled on May 3rd and no one as replied to me yet.

Excellent gym, lovely staff, very accommodating. Reasonable membership rates for the quality of the classes and convenient location. The yoga with Jake is excellent and the place generally has a supportive and friendly vibe.

Really good local gym and competitively priced for the area. The staff are always incredibly friendly, good facilities, and usually very clean. It can get busy at lunchtimes and you do sometimes have to wait a while for equipment which can get a bit annoying. The aircon is also pretty poor and during summer the changing room and gym floors usually very warm. But otherwise a good recommended local gym.

Great service from the admin at the front desk when I had difficulty in getting my day pass. Great facility to work out. Shame I cannot join the gym on a monthly basis due to my location but it is a great gym to workout after work. Will be back soon for a session in the future!

This company have basically stolen roughly £300 from me in roughly a year's worth of membership fees that I paid in advance before covid, and they haven't refunded or responded to any messages for the past 9 months or more! They have left my membership running even when the gym has been closed, so even if I wanted to, I wouldn't have been able to use it! Nothing short of scam artists. Trading Standards are very interested in what I have to say about it.

Complete dump. 1. The equipment is old and used up. 2. There are exposed wires hanging from the ceiling. 3. Nothing is ever arranged. Also, they send debt collectors after you if you DARE cancel your direct debit... Imagine getting harassed over the spectacular sum of £38 that you SUPPOSEDLY own them. The management is clearly disabled.
