I
first
visited
Horizons
in
2013,
and
then
was
a
member
in
2017.
I
rejoined
as
a
member
several
months
ago.
In
that
time,
I
have
seen
the
facilities
decline
in
quality.
Visiting
recently,
I
was
met
with
a
sign
saying
that
the
boiler
had
broken
and
the
water
would
be
cold
/
the
jacuzzi
would
not
be
in
operation.
Although
this
is
the
first
time
it
has
happened,
what
was
challenging
was
that
I
brought
a
guest
and
they
were
not
informed
of
this
until
after
they
had
paid
£15.
In
the
changing
room,
the
changing
cubicle
was
out
of
order,
the
shower
floor
remains
smashed
after
several
weeks
and
the
hairdryer
hasn't
been
replaced
after
it
explored
in
my
hands
a
fortnight
ago.
It
doesn't
even
have
an
out
of
order
sign
on
it.
This
is
in
a
context
of
a
changing
room
that
often
smells
of
human
waste,
I
assume
as
a
result
of
bad
drainage,
and
has
approximately
half
of
the
lockers
out
of
order
at
any
one
time.
Every
time
you
open
the
changing
room
door,
you
are
hit
by
a
smell
of
dirty
toilets.
When
I
rejoined,
I
was
surprised
that
the
membership
remained
at
£69
since
the
classes
have
all
been
cancelled.
I
am
even
more
surprised
that
Horizons
continues
to
market
itself
as
a
high
end
gym,
and
charges
customers,
accordingly,
when
the
facilities
are
worse
than
public
baths.
I
enjoy
the
quietness
of
the
pool,
the
friendliness
of
the
staff
and
the
convenience
of
the
location.
However,
I
can't
justify
paying
£69
a
month
for
the
quality
that
is
on
offer.
When
I
emailed
the
management
with
my
complaints
asking
them
to
address
them,
the
email
was
ignored.
