    I signed up to UP back in March and finished my transformation back in June. The results were incredible, however I waited until now to post this review as I wanted to see what this process gave me not just in short term results but in terms of longer term change of behaviours. I’m delighted to say that the results on both were incredible. In the short term I lost over 10kg and over 10% body fat - my energy levels were massively increased, I slept better and I felt more confident. But above and beyond that, it made me fall in love with the gym, health and sporting performance again. Since then I have been motivated to keep to a routine - understanding how to eat in order that I can maintain the physique I want while still enjoying my life. I have also kept up with my weightlifting schedule, tracking weights, rest time and progress. All of the above is primarily down to my trainer and how fantastic they are. The gym at UP itself is brilliantly kitted out and the app is a great way of tracking progress effectively. However all of that would be pointless without the incredible drive and knowledge of my trainer. The diet plan, the training schedule and the motivation will get you the results in the short term, but the unbelievable expertise on all things training, diet and body mechanics will what gets you to fall in love with the process and keep your motivation even if not training in the gym together. For those looking to make a true difference to themselves I can’t recommend this gym enough. Thank you!

    The whole UP training experience has been transformative for me, and the result speaks for itself. I initially signed up after being spurred on by a personal misfortune. I had also formed some bad eating habits over the years, and I kept getting injured every time I tried to get back to the gym. I was at the heaviest (>72kg) and unhealthiest stage of my life when I joined the UP branch at London City. The reviews and images of transformations from UP members at London Underground Stations encouraged me to join my local UP and take some action to improve my health. The personalised sessions and overall guidance from a dedicated senior trainer have helped me get down to 59kg to date (reduction of 13 kgs or 28 pounds). I love the whole experience; it has surpassed all expectations that I had for the program and for myself. I feel the strongest I have ever been and full of energy. I am grateful to have one of the best trainers at the gym; his no non-sense and straight-talking approach is honest, direct and result orientated. He has taught me “how to fish” so I can sustain the healthy and active lifestyle, and continue with the progress I have made. He helped me realise the key role played by nutrition and an active daily routine. Although I have been supported by my trainer, the entire gym has been extremely friendly and positive. It has been a pleasure getting to know the other helpful trainers and fellow motivated members. I would strongly recommend to anyone motivated to make positive changes to their health to have a consultation with UP. I personally wish I joined sooner.

    As someone who is not a natural gym bunny and with little experience in weight training, I was intimidated to start working with UP. It's a serious gym and the trainers and clients alike are there to get results. Happily my trainer handled my inexperience and my nerves with compassion, good humor, and patience - and still maintained their very high standards with regards to my effort, output and form. The trainers at UP are incredibly knowledgeable about fitness, diet, and the requisite mindset needed to achieve your goals. While the gym is best known for its "transformation" programs, in my experience the trainers will listen closely to what you as the client are looking to achieve and will tailor your program to meet that, as well as providing as much support as you need beyond your time on the gym floor.

    Working with these guys has transformed the way I think about fitness and the rewards and payback has been measurable and far exceeded any gains I've been able to achieve elsewhere. The team at UP City has changed my life. They strike the perfect balance of knowledge, experience, nutritional guidance and training support. They make you focus, make you laugh and help you achieve your goals with outstanding results. An incredible bunch of people, creating the best atmosphere with all the knowledge and experience you’ll ever need to change your shape and improve your health and well-being.     My time at Ultimate Performance has been an incredible journey so far. My trainer immediately made me feel at ease and really took the time to explain everything thoroughly and understand my goals. Not only have I benefited physically, but the advantages of training at UP have significantly helped me mentally too. I’m so grateful for the constant support, advice and belief.     I have had a wonderful journey at UP, St Paul’s. The training regiment is easy to follow for someone with no prior experience and my trainer has been patient with me and that has resulted in great results. I highly recommend it especially if you have not trained before.

    I would recommend the UP experience to anyone needing to make a drastic change in their physical and emotional health and who wants round the clock holistic support to achieve their goals. The approach to transformation is very comprehensive - exercise, nutrition and supplements are all covered. The resistance training is excellent. The trainers know their stuff and keep you motivated. There is a high degree of self discipline required to achieve the results but they do an excellent job keeping you invested in the end goal. I definitely recommend giving it a go and seeing if you can stick with it. The results are definitely there if you’re willing and able to follow the program. Probably the best training environment I’ve seen.

    Fitter, stronger, healthier and enjoying every single session. Joining UP is definitely the best thing I’ve done in helping me towards my fitness goals. My experience has far exceeded the already high expectations I had from the UP brand and without doubt is the best PT experience there is. The energy in the gym, the equipment, the App for tracking workouts, nutrition, sleep and the regular progress check-ins, all make the process enjoyable and easy to follow. The atmosphere at City is great due to such an awesome team, always welcoming. In particular my trainer Klaudia is exceptional! Fun to train with, always pushing for my best, teaching me something new every session and continually goes above and beyond outside the gym with advice on everything from nutrition, sleep, injury prevention and mobility exercises.     Started training with UP City in June and have managed to loose an huge amount of weight and built a lot of muscle. I think this is the healthiest I have ever been or felt. My PT Connor is great at motivating me and getting the best out of me on the gym floor. The results have lead to a massive increase in my confidence. I’d highly recommend the process to anyone who is thinking about giving it a go.

    After years of contemplating signing up, I finally did it. Working with the team at UP City has completely changed my mindset with food, training and improved my confidence overall. The team are fun, knowledgeable and welcoming on every visit. They're always on hand to support whether in the gym or via email. Unlike any other PT I've had, they pay careful attention to every rep, ensuring everything is spot on! The fortnightly checks, photos are what adds to the experience, talking through the highlights of the previous two weeks, updating a range of measurements and taking progress photos - kept in the app. The atmosphere is amazing - great music, everyone gets on - clients and trainers. After my first 12 weeks, I'm continuing the journey!

    Absolutely amazing gym, I've tried numerous expensive and varied pts/gyms and none of them seem to stick like UP city has. Been amazing from day 1 and the results speak for themselves, if you are looking at reviews my biggest regret was not signing up earlier.     I love training at Ultimate Performance London City. The training is focused, and I have seen progress in my strength and technique. It is fantastic to get adjustments (if you need them) on each rep and discuss your health and fitness holistically. I really value the time my trainer takes to talk about the impact my mindset has on training, and his empathy to what is going on in my whole life - not just the 60 mins in the gym. I recommend UP City -it's the best training I've had.

    I have been training at UP city for the last 4 months and honestly by far the best decision I’ve made for my weight loss journey. After 5 years of personal training else were and different diets that never worked for me I have seen huge results in the last 4 months at UP than the 5 years. My Trainer is on point, hands down amazing. My trainer pays attention to my Individual goals and needs, my Plan is tailored to me and I am guided every step of the way not just on the gym floor but also guided with food plan, steps and have the mental and emotional support as well. I feel I can always reach out to my Trainer or anyone on the gym floor as everyone is approachable and supportive. My Trainer checks in with me consistently and always ensures my training sessions are never boring or make me not want to come in. The results I have seen in a short space of time have really motivated me and am super excited to see my end transformation. It has already made a difference in my self confidence, My mood, and general well being. My advice would be trust the process and trust your trainer. Stick to the plan and your results will be big ! Thank you UP city and my amazing trainer for being apart of the start of my 2023 weight loss journey.

    It's been almost two months since I started training with UP, and it's safe to say that it's the best decision I've made in my life. From the welcoming staff to the great equipment, it's been a wonderful experience. What I also love most about UP is the cosy and inviting atmosphere that makes everyone feel comfortable and motivated. Before joining UP, I was nervous about the quality of the trainers due to past experiences, but to say that my trainer is anything less than incredible would be an understatement. Beyond their expertise in physical training, my trainer also provides valuable information about nutrition and other factors contributing to my overall wellness. His great sense of humour makes every session full of laughs and excitement, which makes me work even harder. I wholeheartedly recommend UP to anyone looking to embark on their fitness journey.

    There's no doubt about it - it can be a daunting prospect signing up to UP, not least because of the cost involved but also the commitment required. But by choosing to buy in to that, you get trainers with the same mindset - they are fully focused on getting you where you need to be and will be honest with you from day one about what will be required. These guys walk the walk, which can be the difference where other centres are concerned. I signed up because it was time to make a change. The working from home revolution had led to bad habits and a lack of exercise through being glued to the desk (sometimes for 12+ hour days) and it became far easier to just put off the seemingly difficult task of the physical stuff. Also whatever I've been trying to do on my own gym-wise for the last 20-odd years clearly wasn't having a noticeable effect to the degree I was aiming for. You can spend hours or even weeks in the rabbit-hole of the internet trying to research the best workouts, best nutrition etc. yourself, but sometimes you just need to get an expert in. And if like me you're lucky enough, you can also end up matched with a trainer who can be more than just that. I had support on more fronts than just diet and training; I benefited from a change of mental approach outside the gym and support with refocusing my outlook on certain things. Plus in addition to the visible change comes increased energy and self-confidence and a realisation that this stuff (as with most things) is all possible. Importantly, my trainer built me a foundation, not just an end product. There is that end-of-programme milestone as well, of course, but it's the habits and wider awareness that are laid down that are of most use when the allocated sessions are up. This is knowledge that can be carried forward to enable you to maintain the new self, both nutritionally and technique-wise, inside and outside the gym. My recommendation is without reservation - this is absolutely worth it. If you want to, you'll find a way; if you don't, you'll find an excuse.

    I was sceptical about whether it would be possible to get the results I wanted in such a short period, especially as I work long and unpredictable hours. But the program has been amazing, and my trainer has been incredible throughout. It makes such a difference to be able to turn up to training, with an individual plan designed by a professional trainer, and be able to see the great results so quickly. Everyone at UP City wants to see you succeed – it is a genuinely friendly and supportive place, where the trainers work hard, and clients get out what they put in. The help with both training and nutrition has really paid off, and being able to keep in touch outside of training sessions through the UP App has been really useful. Most importantly, it has made my training fun! I cannot recommend UP City enough – my only regret is that I did not sign up sooner!

    My experience with UP has been amazing. It took me awhile to finally sign up with them but I genuinely wish I had done it sooner. The time my trainer took to challenge and educate me and keep me accountable (especially during weeks where I had a lot of social events happening) was what I needed for a long time. I’ve lost some weight and gained my confidence back in 8 weeks all thanks to my trainer and UP!

    I had a really great time at UP City! I had a specific goal and my trainer was very professional and helped me execute my plan extremely well. I very quickly learnt the discipline that was required in order to get to where I personally wanted to be, physically and mentally.     After many years trying to achieve a healthier lifestyle, and ultimately failing, I needed help. I knew my nutrition was a major factor so after a lot of research,I came across Ultimate Performance. A visit to the London City branch was more than enough to convince me to sign up there and then! On day one, my personal trainer went through everything with me: from what I’d been eating to the dreaded measurements. She also showed me how to use the correct forms while performing each exercise while also testing my limits. I pushed myself hard on that first day and am not embarrassed to say that I nearly passed out! This was going to be a real challenge. Not only did I receive a meal plan but tons of encouragement shortly after staggering my way home. I’ve been training with Ultimate Performance for just over 4 months now and have dropped from 78kg all the way down to 63kg, increased my strength and watched my body finally take shape. I mean, I can actually see my abs appearing slowly but surely…..something I’ve never been able to achieve before. I’m so much happier and more confident in myself. My trainer has been with me every step of the way and I appreciate everything that she’s done to help me on this journey…..even being flexible enough to start training at 6:30am! The site itself has everything you need and because it’s use is for their personal trainers, you’ll not have any trouble moving from set to set. The team are very friendly and welcoming, often asking how I’m doing and commenting on noticeable changes in me. I don’t have the easiest name to pronounce, but they all know it without me introducing myself…and pronouncing it correctly which has never happened before. If you’ve managed to get this far, then you should arrange to meet the team and see it for yourself! Everyone is different and you do need to put the work in but you’re measured every couple of weeks (including photos) so you can see your progress and keep you motivated. You’ll have access to their app where you can log your meals, message your trainer and all of your progress and photos will appear there too! I can’t thank my trainer enough for everything she’s done to help me achieve my goals. My entire lifestyle has changed for the better! I highly recommend Ultimate Performance! See for yourself! Also, try their chocolate protein shake! It really does taste amazing!

    Excellent and methodical training that can flexibly accommodate body composition or performance goals. I’ve trained consistently for around 10 years and my trainer has still managed to find ways to help me push beyond previous limitations by focusing and re-training very technical aspects of my movement patterns. If you’re serious about results and measured performance you’ll enjoy training here, but objectively not a service for everyone.

    I joined in October this year and can honestly say it was the best investment I have made in myself ever, I have been a member of various gyms in the past but none come close to the level of professionalism and quality of the trainers at U.P. My coach has been extremely helpful in preparing me for the road ahead both mentally and physically. He was honest from day one with my current physical ability and has put in place a very structured approach for me to hit my goal. I am almost at the end of my first phase into the transformation, I have lost over 12kg and have noticed a huge difference in both my appearance and confidence.     I’ve been training at UP City for a few months now and it’s been an incredibly positive experience. I’ve lost 11kg so far (including a few weeks of slip ups and Christmas), am stronger and feel so much more confident in the gym. With the programming, attention to detail and support I’ve got, I know it could’ve been so much more, if hadn’t taken the timeouts I have. But the real change in me has been outside the gym. I feel happier, more energetic and better able to deal with stress. I don’t rely on food or booze to keep balance, I genuinely feel my training does that for me now. All of the trainers are incredibly nice, funny and welcoming, as well as clearly very good at what they do. My trainer makes it though - as well as being clearly very knowledgable, he is supportive, very funny and I feel he really understands me. On the occasions where I have slipped up, he has trodden the line between pushing and supporting perfectly. I’m very glad I’ve met and trained with him and look forward to continuing my UP journey.

    If you are hesitating, deliberating, mulling-it over- don't. Just sign up to UP now. I really regret not doing it sooner. It is THE best place to take your health and fitness seriously. The trainers are professional, knowledgeable and understanding. You WILL achieve the result you want (even if you don't fully believe it yourself). I was recommended UP by a work colleague three years ago and lament the fact I didn't sign up then. One colleague transformed herself after having children- from being obese to super slim and fit. Another colleague who was already very slim and sporty went to UP to discover the full potential of her body. I am half way through my transformation and am noticeably slimmer, fitter, and healthier (and stronger at 43 than at 23!) I have been to many gyms and many trainers in the past two decades. UP stands out. I train with one trainer at UP who has a very positive impact on my life- physical and mental. I have had the pleasure of training with three other trainers so can attest to the high quality of other trainers. It is very pricey but it is an investment in your self and worth every penny. Nothing is more important than your health and wellbeing. It is also a lot of fun and the atmosphere in the gym is just great. I look forward to every session.

    UP is the best investment in myself I've made in my whole life - and I say this having worked out with many PTs and in many gyms in the past. I initially chose UP because it was easy for commuting purposes, but knowing what I know now, I would travel here from afar! The atmosphere in the gym is hugely supportive, friendly, and it's plentifully evident every trainer is determined to deliver progression and success for their clients. Looking at the clients with their rapidly shrinking waistlines, increasingly toned muscles, and smiles (sometimes grimaces!) of achievement, it's clear that the hard workouts UP trainers design help each client to break through their perceived barriers in every session. It's difficult to describe just how utterly fantastic my trainer has been. She genuinely cares about my progression and success, stays in constant contact with me, and most importantly she's a highly qualified expert at her job. I could not praise her laser focus on form or the nutrition help she provides highly enough. It doesn't take a village to get the results when you've got a trainer like her in your corner. While each workout is hard (some of them really very hard indeed), I've never left the gym feeling like I could not do that again; that's what makes her so skilled at her job, imparting a feeling like I can totally do all this again even though I'm going to struggle to make it out of the gym. The UP programme requires commitment and hard work, but the investment will reap rewards you didn't think possible. Highly recommend!

    I can't say enough good things about my experience at Ultimate Performance. I've been to other personal trainers in commercial gyms, and also private personal training studios. Nothing compares to my experience at Ultimate Performance. My results have been nothing short of incredible and truly transformational. I have never had a trainer so invested in my personal success - they are with you every step of the way, both inside and outside of the gym. The facilities are great. The technology, in particular the UP app, is super impressive. It took me a while to sign up but it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

    I've been a member of UP for almost two months now and it's the fittest and strongest I've ever been. I was previously very intimidated by gyms and had no idea how to use any of the equipment but the atmosphere at UP has been so welcoming and supportive, all of the trainers are super friendly and absolute experts. The sessions are amazing, I never thought I'd look forward to exercise or going to the gym but I find myself counting down the days until my next training session. The plans are created perfectly for you to achieve your own goal and they really make sure they understand you, your priorities and lifestyle to achieve the best results. If anyone is looking to lose weight, get stronger, fitter or healthier and make sustainable lifestyle changes this really is something I would really recommend.

    Ultimate Performance is the real deal, and worth the money. My experience with UP City was life changing, and I don't say that flippantly. My UP trainer was my biggest cheerleader, teaching the me concepts of positive failure when lifting (the point IS to fail, safely) so that I could keep going when I got tired. He also taught me the underlying philosophy behind how small actions can compound over time to reveal real results, all it takes is patience and persistence. Perhaps most importantly, he took the time to explain the *why* behind each exercise, and went to great lengths to teach me "how to fish for myself" so I can continue along this lifestyle on my own now that my UP journey has come to an end. All in all, if you're serious about getting results and changing your habits to reflect a new lifestyle and a new identity, then UP is definitely a great partner and support system for that.

I have seen a massive improvement in the intensity and technique of my training - a result of the UP Trainers and how they structure the sessions.     I came into the gym low on body confidence and skinny fat. That problem was irradiated fast! My trainer helped me to gain confidence to be able to lift weights correctly and learn how to manage my diet correctly. If you follow the nutritional plan and put the effort in on the sessions, the results will come. The gym is extremely friendly and every other person I have spoken to who trains there has had the exact same great experience.
