Amazing!! One of the best places I've ever been in UK 🇬🇧. Great trails, views! It was sunny and windy, and it was perfect weather! Highly recommend for travelers. Must to come and see. Photos and videos cannot capture this place enough.

Absolutely charming scenic spot! I enjoyed walking from the parking lot to the sea along the river. The meanders are sinuous and beautiful, impressive! I definitely recommend.

Stunning place. Great for a walk of any length - don’t forget the cliffs are hilly so it feels like a good workout. Great for dogs although if your pet is a bit unruly you may have to have them on the lead as there are electric fences along the walk on the cliff part.

What a beautiful place. I was not sure how to get there but it was super easy! I took the 12 bus from Brighton to Eastbourne and it takes around 50min to get there. You have a nice view of the seaside. When you are at the Seven Sisters stop, there are signs pointing the trails and where to go. It's a really nice walk until the beach. You have the Cliffs at your side and the views are magnificent. It worths to spend time there and even have a picnic.

Beautiful place and amazing views. If you want to relax and forget about your worries, this is a great place. We liked it very much and we will definitely go back there again, we just need to plan more time, preferably a whole day 🙂

Love this place so much! I was so happy to finally visit and I will def come back here! It is almost surreal how beautiful the rocks and the river are and there are a bunch of hikes that you can do in the area! Iconic to see the least. We also went for a swim which wasn't great bc the stones on the beach hurt quite a bit and it was very shallow.

Fabulous place for days out as a family, with the kids or just enjoying a walk. Totally accessible concrete path down to the beach. Longer walks over the cliffs and downs to seafood or Eastbourne. Two cafes on site by visitor centre, one a grab and go the other with seating and lovely vegan and vegetarian snacks. All dog friendly. Lovely clean toilets and plenty of them. Ample parking £4 all day.

Fantastic view. I took a bus from Brighton and got off at the park entrance. It took 40min to get to the actual cliff but the way to the cliff is also beautiful. I walked end-to-end of the park and it wasn’t that easy, so be aware! It took me 2-3 hours to finish the walk. It is quite hilly, a lot of ups and downs. Be careful because there are no fences. It takes another 3-40 min to get to the bus stop frok the other end. It was a week day.

Consisting of estuaries, lakes, beach, cliffs, and sea, Seven Sisters Country Park technically has it all. However, the lakes and estuaries have dried up. I'm not sure the underlying reason for this. If I hear climate change, I will go mad! Downstream towards the sea, we see man-made structures that limit the flow of the water/ tide into the estuary to stop erosion. Maybe that is the real reason for the drying up! The 360-degree views up the cliffs were stunning, which made up for the walk. On a clear sunny day like today, nothing beats the fresh crisp air and the soothing warm of the sun with views to die to for.

The scenery is spectacular. It was a wonderfully sunny day, however the wind was relentless. Make sure to have glasses for sun but also the wind. I recommend taking the inland walk and doing the circuit with a stop off at the pub for lunch. Perfect day!

Best place for a picture is near a cliff edge before you descend into cuckmere haven. The path is a bit steep but well trodden. Also an amazing place for a lunch break. Wait for darkness on an evening with a full moon and it's pretty magical. You won't get lost walking back to Seaford with your phone's light.

Amazing landscapes! The hike can be a bit tiring, in a moderate level, but it’s definitely well worth it. I recommend bringing water, some snacks for a picnic, cap and sunscreen! Definitely choose comfortable shoes as well.

it's a longish walk from the car park to the beach and cliffs. There is a concrete path for you to take but it's a shorter trek over the grass tracks. Once you get to the beach, the view of the cliffs makes it all worth while. The river and lagoons are very interesting and depending on how energetic you are, there are a lot of paths up over the downs.

Beautiful area and dog friendly (though people need to pay attention to the signs advising to keep dogs on lead). Quiet tranquility was broken somewhat by a group of young men who had carrier bags full of lager and were playing music through a loudspeaker. Good cafe and clean toilets.

I had an incredible one-day trip to Seven Sisters Cliff! The breathtaking views of the chalk cliffs and the English Channel were simply mesmerizing. The hike along the cliff edge offered a perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty. The accessibility of the site was convenient, and the well-maintained trails made the trek enjoyable. I highly recommend starting early to beat the crowds and catch the sunrise—it's a memory I'll cherish forever. The coastal breeze was refreshing, and I spotted diverse wildlife along the way. Be sure to bring a camera; the photo opportunities are endless! My only advice: pack some snacks and water, as amenities are limited. But the overall experience was unforgettable, and I can't wait to return. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers!

One of my happy places. A lovely stroll to the beach or up the cliffs. Very calming and peaceful. The road is, however, very dangerous. No crossing, you feel like you are taking your life in your hands!

Beautiful and quiet seaside. The cliffs look amazing. The view from the top of the cliff is unforgettable. Make sure you walk up the cliffs from a safety route that you can easily find it on map or ask people over there. The way climb up to the top from the beach is way too dangerous. We tried but would not do it again as there are too many small stones on the way.

Beautiful walk down to the sea following the well established and cared for path. Nice cafe with all you would expect. Reasonable parking for the area.

"A Natural Wonderland - Seven Sisters Country Park" My visit to Seven Sisters Country Park was nothing short of awe-inspiring. The park is truly one of Brighton's crown jewels, boasting a wealth of natural beauty and outdoor activities that cater to every nature enthusiast. The iconic chalk cliffs of Seven Sisters are a sight to behold, with their striking white faces beautifully contrasting against the emerald-green grass and the deep blue of the English Channel. The panoramas from the cliff tops are truly breathtaking, offering an unspoilt view of Sussex's coastline. Remember to bring a camera - the photo opportunities are endless! The park's abundant walking trails range from gentle strolls along the river to more challenging hikes up the cliffs, catering to all fitness levels. My personal favorite was the walk to Beachy Head, where you can enjoy an expansive view of the sea and the lighthouse. Wildlife is plentiful in the park. Look out for the various bird species and, if you're lucky, you might spot a herd of wild ponies. It's a real treat for any nature lover. The visitor center offers valuable information about the park's flora, fauna, and walking routes. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, ready to assist with any queries. Accessibility is another plus point, with ample parking available and regular buses from Brighton making it a perfect day trip destination. Do note to carry your own food and water, as options within the park are limited. Seven Sisters Country Park is a haven of natural beauty, a place where you can truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in nature's grandeur. It's a must-visit for anyone in or around Brighton! A clear 5-star rating for this magnificent natural sanctuary.

Oh boy, let me tell you about the Seven Sisters park in England - it's an absolute gem! I had the pleasure of visiting this place and boy, was I blown away! First off, let's talk about the views. Holy cow, they are breathtaking! The Seven Sisters cliffs are a sight to behold, with their towering height and majestic beauty. And the best part? You get to see them up close and personal! It's like Mother Nature put on her fanciest dress and invited us all to the party. But the views aren't the only thing that make this park amazing. The hiking trails are top-notch! Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just an adventurer like me, there's a trail for everyone. And let me tell you, the feeling of accomplishment when you reach the top of a hill is worth every step. Now, let's talk about the beach. Oh my goodness, the beach! The pebble beach at the bottom of the cliffs is a hidden gem. It's the perfect spot for a picnic, a game of frisbee, or just lounging around while surrounded with epic views.

I travelled their with my fiancée and it was a sunny and beautiful day. Make sure you go while it is sunny to enjoy the view. The hiking track is pretty easy, of course there are some parts you need to ascend and other to descent but are not difficult. Take water and food in addition to something to sit on as the grass is generally wet. The verge of the see into the hills is spectacular.

Chose a lovely day to go for a walk across Seven Sisters. Views breath- taking .Good for heart rate too! Good luck to all the youngsters that were doing their Duke of Edinburgh award, I didn't envy them having to carry all the kit !

Highlight of the Sussex coast, with stunning views of the Seven Sisters cliffs, a large stony beach and scenic countryside. Multiple walking trails range from the easy, level path running alongside the river between the visitor centre and beach, up to more challenging walks up and along the cliffs to Seaford or Eastbourne. All are well signposted, and enjoy expansive views over the sea or the South Downs. The Visitor Centre itself is well maintained and has a café, gift shop, toilets, bus stop and ample parking (though the parking area isn't ideal for low vehicles and some of the machines were reluctant to accept payment).

This is a beautiful spot, it was pretty windy today but that didn't stop us. My only gripe is that the parking charge is a little steep at £3 for 2 hours. I feel that £2.50 would be a better price really. I highly recommend a visit here though as it's sooooo beautiful, look at the pics (and this is when it was a little rainy)

Wow, what a stunning place. It was a pleasant walk right up to the beach and from there to the top of the cliff. The walk just carried on and on to Burley gap and the lighthouse. Great for all ages as you can stroll along without climbing hills or challenge yourself by hiking up some pretty steep hills. Dog walkers love it and a rest on the beautiful beach is a nice welcome. Cafes are at the visitor centre, as are toilets. Don't come too late or parking could become difficult.

Wonderful experience. Recommended if planning a visit/ stay nearby. Walking paths are labelled and they also include walking time which is very helpful when choosing which paths to take. Parking also available but do note that it can get busy on a lovely day. It is park and display. Cark Park is around 40mins walk from the beach.

After driving past this place for years finally visited. Great walk from the Country Park car park to Birling Gap, 8 1/4 mile round trip. Fantastic views of the end of the South Downs where they meet the sea. Loose stones on sloping paths need to be watched for.

Was a really nice walk, took us about 6 hours as we had a BBQ on us and all the essential bits needed for a BBQ. If you stick around to watch the sun set.... it really is beautiful. The scenery is breath taking!

Absolutely stunning walks. Dogs welcome. Walk to sea or take Beachy Head trails. They have a visitors centre & kiosks in car park for drinks. You can also do paddle boarding or kayaking.

  • 5/5 Mani N. 2 years ago on Google
Wow what an amazing place. Great landscapes. And a river flowing ...quite shallow at the low tide when it meets the sea. Lots of people and families playing in the water. From main road there is a scenic walk to the river and sea..

Park at the barn car park and take the middle path down to the cottages. You will get a great view of the Cukmere valley to your left as gradually the iconic cottage view overlooking the Seven Sisters unfolds before your eyes. You can choose to wander down to Cuckmere beach or take a right at the cottages and continue your walk along the downs.
