I don’t know about shopping, but for sure the picturesque of the locale don’t allow you to get into showrooms, rather it calls to gaze the sea and the horizons beyond. Absolutely stunning views and charms. Regarding the shopping : Expensive if you are poor. Cheap if you are shopaholic. Love sales ? Then u will get the best deals.

Great place to shop in the centre of Southampton. Plenty of good shops on two floors and great selection of eateries on the top floor. Eat at John Lewis's top floor restaurant for a good view over the docks and any cruise ships that may be in. Multi-storey car park is adjacent to West Quay as is the main High Street for further shops and restaurants.

The biggest shopping mall in the South of England! There are plenty different good quality stores where you can buy all you need and don’t have to worry about car park too. The stores are very clean and tidy, good selection of variety restaurants. Highly recommended to visit this place

Very civilised, good choice Pre movie and … has a dinosaur skeleton. Why? Not a clue … maybe a Jurassic park franchise tie in that overcooked it’s welcome, but kept the kids interested so no complaints here

Like most other shopping centres, nothing different. Nice area outside with old walls to walk around, and a good mixture of eating places. Large display of colourful elephants

This shopping centre is top notch with plenty of shops. There are also a good number of eateries and restuarants. The car park is massive to accommodate a good number of cars. For film lovers, there a cinema to make it happened for you guys.

Shopping, food, drink, cinema and bowling. There is something for everyone at Westquay. The only downside is the cost of parking in their multi-storey carpark.

A great shopping mall in Southampton with huge parking. You can actually find every shop and restaurant in the UK here .when you are at the last floor you can have a beautiful view of the harbour

The only place to watch films. A great screen and sound but more importantly you get a leather chair that reclines so you can watch the film in comfort. The ads are shorter than other cinemas which is great as you can get on with enjoying the film. There is also a bar and Costa on site so plenty of drinks options. It's also great having lots of restaurants and bowling next door so you can make a night of it.

I took my kids there for dinner & have never seen so many groups of kids in hoodies & masks hanging around. People dressed up as animals or god knows what they're trying to be. I didn't feel very comfortable at all. Last time I went it was the same & said I'd never go back. Just outside of West quay in the precinct is even worse, you'd never believe you were in Southampton. Make sure you book a table as we got turned away from 2 places as they were fully booked.

Great place to park the car and reasonable for the whole day. As visited the Southampton boat show. Encouraging customers to come and shop. Hoping they can get paying machine repair or reboot whenever it breaks diwn

Great digital fireworks event. Everyone really getting into it and joining in with the signing and dancing. Advise getting there early. We were 30 minutes and seating was limited on the steps. Lasts 20 minutes twice a day until Saturday

Avoid Saturday it is so busy. Shops OK nothing special. Loved Eds for breakfast in the shopping centre, waiter was amazing 👏 he must be psychic cos he said it was going to be heaving by 1130am and was not wrong !! Ended up going to a great traditional pub and then home.

We had a great time yesterday walking around the shopping mall and love that it is dog friendly again in all the shops!!!! 😁 Was a bit disappointed that we couldn't get food in there though no restaurant would allow the dog which we could of sat in a corner away from all food but they still didn't allow it. Not even on the tables outside of the restaurants They had art of Asia doing some of their dances in the centre. The smoothie place was really nice nice a refreshing after our 2 hour journey from Brighton

I love westguay. There is a great range of outlet shops. A good range of restaurants and cafe's as well as bars. Somthing for every taste. Great views across the harbour to Gosport. Sit and watch the ferries going in and out.

West Quay is the place to be if you like up market shopping. All the big names are there under cover in a huge modern environment. Endless eating establishments mainly on the upper levels. There are also outside restaurants of all descriptions on a lower level next to a massive Cinema complex. Once out of West Quay, you are in Southampton High Street with more shops to choose from. Normally with street entertainment. All easily reached by bus and train, or Ocean Liner if you are lucky enough to be on one. The Ship terminal is in walking distance. Highly recommended.

Nice shopping centre but as people want to shop face to face not shop on line it's great but instead of being free car parking to be able to shop in places like this you have to think twice always how much money per hour or per day to be able to go shopping in general plus the premises for the shops whether in the high street or in shopping centres are charged so much rent per month it's a shame as in years to come we will not have any shops or shopping centres as it's alround expensive just to stay in the business and to stay afloat in these very expensive times of ours yes the future looks very grim and looks like on line shopping will become the future shopping high street a big shame as to actually go to the shops and shopping centres are more exciting John

As shopping centres go, during weekdays it never seems very busy. All the usual suspects are there, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Levi, Victoria's Secret, Hollister etc etc. Plenty of fast food outlets as well. Bus stop for many routes just outside the entrance

  • 4/5 David C. 3 months ago on Google New
A particularly useful shopping centre, especially on the lead up to the festive season. Decent range of shops that'll meet most requirements. In the event it doesn't have the items you're looking for, the high street is within walking distance. Loads of food options and a decent cinema too.

West Quay is a really great hub in the centre if Southampton for shopping and entertainment. There's plenty of parking with easy access to the shops, restaurants and entertainment. Within easy reach there's bowling and cinema, fast food and more comfortable dining, a broad range of shops including jewellery, clothing, gifts, sports, and larger M&S and John Lewis department stores.

  • 5/5 Andy M. 9 months ago on Google
Wow, what a shopping centre, its huge and so many floors. Parking is in abundance and not overly expensive. They have a great food hall on the top floor. This was my first visit, but not m my last. It was worth the 1hr 45 minute drive.

  • 4/5 Philip M. 5 months ago on Google
Best shopping area for quite a long way. Parking is good and the access easy. M&S has a good food hall so don't waste money on the many food outlets - all chains with the associated blandness.

Good range of shops, big food court up top, though place is showing its age in places, also the add on with the cinema and bowling etc with more places to eat is a good. Very busy so try and avoid at weekends. Parking is very good but the prices are creeping up.

Great place to go..can get very busy as there are a great many shops..only actually been once but its amazing..they have a lot of sign posts that tell you where you can find restaurants, cafe's, fast food shops, clothes shops, parking, toilets everything..there are plenty of lifts and elevators..they have thought of practically everything..also close to the train station which is only about 15min away..give it a go you won't be disappointed 😀

West Quay is a fantastic centre, except for the fact that the shops being put into the centre are becoming more and more upmarket. Many units are turning into yet more jewellery stores, and I can only imagine that the rent is so high that only these high end brands can afford them. I don't feel like Southampton is quite at that level where the constant demand for this is there. The food court is good, especially Kwackers which is a hidden gem, and locally owned

  • 3/5 Catherine P. 9 months ago on Google
It is what is is: a large shopping centre with too many empty units. Shops say that the rent is too high. It's not as clean as it used to be, and the overpowering smell coming from the counter in the middle of the slope (joss sticks?) is cheap and detracts from the 'luxury' feel that West Quay used to have. It's good to see live performance or events downstairs: gives the shopping centre a good vibe; but the lack of cafe area negates this.

Amazing area , good place to find lunch!! Shop for some weird accessories !!! And find a new spider-man jersey!

  • 5/5 Oren H. 7 months ago on Google
So many shops to look around here, with multiple shopping levels and an entire food court also - many different options to eat for all the picky eaters in your group. Security guards wandering around also very helpful and seemingly happy to answer any queries. Accessible toilet facilities, travelators and elevations. A joyous place to lose yourself in for a while.

Excellent range of stores and other businesses. Food from all over the world, cinema and many many wonderful and different shops to browse around. Found the map outside to be a little confusing and the entrances were not easy to locate. As a disabled driver/person I found it incredibly difficult to navigate to the shop I required and a member of the public was more than helpful. No sign of any Mall security or hospitality for strangers to the mall. Overall very good 5 star's but a tweak here or there would be very useful.

Having lived in or around Southampton for many years, I can say that West key has always been one of my favourite shopping trips. it has a fantastic John Lewis, lots of great eateries and a lovely clean safe shopping centre.

Nice shopping centre close to Town centre. A variety of restaurants to choose from. Most of them offer takeaway and collaboration with delivery services. Perfect place to have a drink with your friend or after work.

A 'shopping centre' just like any other, in any city, anywhere. The same high street names selling the same highly advertised products. Other than being by an interest expanse of water, it could be anhywhed

Best shopping mall I visited outside London. Can't say anything bad, even the toilet have an amazing system to save water and co2 emissions, and 100% clean. I would put only more seats for people who don't want to buy anything (if you go for eat or have a coffee of course, but in the middle of the journey I saw only 3 sofas in the middle of 1st floor) or simply want to relax between one shop or another👍

I hate being here if I am honest. It is a modern shopping mall with a wide range of shops, but it is also an enclosed space with lots of people around. Didn't feel safe. Not where I want to be, post Covid.

  • 3/5 James M. 2 years ago on Google
I understand that I visited this place on a weekend, but still. There was no social distancing and hardly anyone wore a mask. The mall itself was clean and the facilities were spotless, but I didn't feel very COVID safe here.

Omg! I love this place! So big. Such a wide variety of places to visit. I'm obsessed! Go to Victoria Secret, Yo! Sushi, Warren James, Yankee Candle, Hotel Chocolate! So worth it.

Great central location, close to the station, coach station and bus stop. Shops are plenty and there’s a real mix of what’s there. The main attraction is John Lewis but there are many other places too. The food court up the top and west quay south with the Showcase cinema make this a whole day out trip.

Large indoor shopping centre over 3 floors. Can be more expensive than some other places in town. It very good for slightly more luxury brands. Food court on the upper floor. Plenty of clean public toilets

Cinema, restaurants, lovely spot for some photos. What more can you ask for 😍

  • 3/5 Aurora F. 2 years ago on Google
A nightmare accessibility-wise. Can be waiting up to 10 minutes for lifts because they only have 3-4 for the main shopping area. Lack of maps so you can't even tell what floor you need to be on before inevitably having to go wait for the lift again. Most shops not laid out for wheelchair or scooter users with gondolas and stands in the way of paths. Choice in food court is excellent. Clean and bright shopping centre.

What a place 👏. Everything you can think of and more. Want to go shopping go here. Very busy place at times. Parking is easy but watch out for lifts not working. Note what far part you in amd level. Or you may not find your car again 🙄

Costa coffee needs looking into for hygiene!! Absolutely disgusting. All the tables were looking like this photo below, you can feel the dirt on the table. Definitely will not use again and will never recomend

Big place, with lots of food restaurants and stalls to choose from. Lots of seating place inside. Plenty of Outside seating as well. Quite close to the Southampton central train station and an entrance on the main Street. Impressive design. Best section the below ground outside restaurant area and court heard.

Massive shopping experience, modern in every way, including an automatic cleaning machine that fascinates most people visiting this shopping mall, it knows where people are and stops and starts a perfect robot, doing a great job. Loads of shops for all ages and good prices to be had on items if you shop around. large multi story car park, with lifts.

  • 5/5 David W. 2 years ago on Google
A really great indoor place to shop. Large range of shops with a wide range of items. Huge multi level car park with direct access to West Quay. If you havent been to West Quay make it a trip to do and you wont be dissapointed

Very big clean and modern shopping centre. Nice modern clean toilets. Seems like a good mix of shops. Chucking it down with rain so ended up in there. Quite enjoyed a wander around even though shopping centres aren't our cup of tea normally.

Went to pizza express within West Quay. The food was okish, I'd rate it 6 out of 10. My main issue was the glass water tumbler, what's seen better days.

  • 4/5 Fiona D. 1 year ago on Google
Easy parking, well lit car park. Access to all floors with escalators, lifts. Clean. Bright. Information boards signposting stores. Info desk available for guidance. Good range of high street stores and smaller stores. John Lewis and M&S have big stores with extensive range plus food halls.

  • 5/5 John J. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best shopping malls I have visited. The two main stores are John Lewis and Marks & Spencer, but also many of the other famous and popular names are there. There is a wide variety of " eateries" in there, so it's a good place to have a meal or snack. Parking is usually plentiful, but not free. Adjacent to the Mall is a cinema complex with, I think, 10 screens and again, a variety of restaurants. Well worth a visit.

  • 5/5 Debbie H. 2 years ago on Google
Cosmos! Incredible meal.we went here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it was fantastic! The staff were so friendly got us in without booking .....so much food to choose from!!

  • 5/5 Tonya S. 1 year ago on Google
I love visiting Westquay Shopping Centre. It is a great place to do all of your shopping needs. It has plenty of shops to explore, so shoppers have different products to choose from and according to their needs. They also have plenty of restaurants located in and outside the mall to cater to their customers' different palates or menu choices. There are plenty of parking spaces in the car parks and available public buses. Therefore, travelling is not a problem.
