Vast shopping centre with all the usual stores. Food, cinema and parking. Only grumble is that after 10pm they close return routes to car park making things difficult for no obvious reason.

Enjoyed alot during shopping. It's really fun and quite near to my home. Restaurants are also really good in it. We used to go there many times in a week

Decent shopping centre with plenty of parking and a good range of shops. Lots of covid measures in place such as one way systems, touch free access to car park, seating taped off so people can't sit too close. Always clean and tidy. Car park not too expensive either.

Although bright, modern and clean, the centre is bitter cold in the winter. The lack of shops on the upper floor is depressing and spoils the overall shopping experience. I can't believe the wasted area previously occupied by Debenhams. Surly, this area could be re-purposed in support of the local community.

Beautiful shopping centre, we particularly loved the Waterstones store, impressive and large plus it has its own café upstairs...It was closed because it was on a Sunday evening but we made a promise to come back soon.

I visited Basingstoke to go shopping with friends a Saturday in February and was pleasantly surprised. The place was absolutely buzzing. I live in Woking and our shopping centre is like a ghost town. Loads of shops, restaurants, and pubs to choose from. Loads of parking at a reasonable rate. I will definitely be visiting again.

Met up with a friend here as it is right next to the train station and what a great place it is. We didn't get round all of it so will make a return visit. The selection of shops we did get round to was brilliant as was the places to eat. We chose to eat at Kokoro, a Japanese restaurant that we both love. After lunch we finished walking round a came across Wimpey so our next visit, we will be having lunch there. All in all, we loved our visit to Festival Place.

Large shopping mall huge multi storey car park. Lots of shops street food vendors and eateries something for everyone. The public toilets are the best we have visited especially for familes needing a changing room for infants small children all other malls should see how good these are and copy them they are a game changer.

Great shopping centre in Basingstoke, just off M3 motorway. Lots of good shops and restaurants all under cover. Lots of parking although car park seems a little disjointed but it is colour coded, so look out for signage when you park. i.e blue sign 417 = blue zone. Level 4 area 17. Then pick stairs or lift to the correct colour. Festival Place staff are always very friendly and helpful if you can't find a certain shop or need assistance, just ask, they will always help.

Wow - this place is dog friendly! We haven't been into a shopping mall for years as we only go where our dog can go. What a surprise to find we could take her in. Brilliant.

Great shopping mall featuring loads of top brands and almost all store categories. Homes well over 165 separate brands! Opened in Oct 2002 so quite a new mall, and definitely kept up-to-date. Meets modern requirements and is a clean space. Parking is never a problem - plenty of parking spaces with an overflow area. Stores also charge at an acceptable rate. Great place to go if you're in the area! Fun fact: Top Gear filmed their high-speed chase (S12, E6) in Festival Place! The skid marks are still there!

Festival place used to benefit from Debenhams and previously from Alders and other large department stores which made shopping interesting and one could find most items. Unfortunately, missing such a store has declined my interest in going shopping in the town centre.

Good sized shopping centre with all the usual brands. Convenient parking and always plenty of spaces.

  • 5/5 Andy G. 3 months ago on Google New
Nice shopping centre. Easy to get too and all the shops you could need!

  • 2/5 Martin 11 months ago on Google
I don't like to go there anymore parking is expensive, if you need help it is hard to find any staff. There are not many rubbish bins on the shop floor. Place used to be much clearer, busier and more customer friendly. A few years ago there was a housekeeping and security member on every corner. I remember to see them on roof cleaning windows 😀. I guess it is hard times after the pandemic.

Excellent shopping mall. I highly recommend a visit. Far superior to 2est Quay in Southampton. Still not to Colombias standards of malls but an excellent shopping experience. Highly recommended.

Large modern shopping mall with a wide range of stores. We went to the Wetherspoons for breakfast but can't comment on the shops as they weren't open on Sunday that early.

A very nice mall in Basingstoke with a variety of stores and amenities. Whether it's shopping, swimming, gym, library, food etc. You can literally find all in one place and the parking charges are not so bad.

Simply beautiful. Nice place if you want to have an idea of what night life is like in Basingstoke. Busy place from morning to night.

Despite the fact that many shops are closing, there are still enough to make shopping a pleasant experience. Mainly ' national' chain stores, I've never had problems buying goods I've specifically needed. It's warm & clean, & admittedly I'm able to go mid-week, so it's not crowded. Parking facilities are good & if going by bus, I can choose which entry point I want. I sometimes combine the visit to watch a film to complete the trip. I know my way around these days, but on my earlier visits, I appreciated the fact that the overhead signs pointing to various places, e.g. Library, cinema, bus station, sports centre are extremely clear. If needed though, the information centre is has very knowledgable staff who are able to help. Finally, and importantly, there are two public conveniences, also well signposted. I didn't intend this to turn out like a visitors guide, but they're all the reasons why I like the place & why it's always enjoyable for me.

If shopping is your thing then this is a decent place, a lot of the stores have closed or moved I noticed on my most recent visit the upstairs section was quite empty! On site parking and also a trampoline park just outside. Plenty of places to eat

No open toilet after 6pm. Arrived from London and desperately needed the toilet, was impossible to find it. Had to go to burger king and ask if I can use the toilet. It's just ridiculous that on Saturday night after 6pm and public toilets in the shopping centre.

It's a pretty nice place to be. So many free games, shops, eateries and so on. The signs are conspicuous and straightforward, you can get around on your own. The fire instructions are also well laid out. There are lifts, escalators and stairs, even broken down escalators are labelled as such. Prices of goods are on the high side though. Overall, it's a great place to be.

Good to go for food and any destination shops you already know you need to visit. But Reading and Bracknells shopping centres are far better to browse due to them having nicer shops that are also less spread out. The other places also have reseraunts a plenty too and cinemas.

  • 3/5 George W. 8 months ago on Google
Unfortunately the centre seems to be affected by the same malaise as other retail areas in that there's a relatively high number of empty shops. It's predominantly the upper level that's empty down one side. I am surprised they haven't tried to work laterally and brought in a soft play or something for kids to do (as opposed to shop). The restaurants just outside were nice and quiet on an early Friday lunchtime so service was very quick. Parking is excellent with reasonable ish rates although the machines don't seem to have been upgraded to ANPR and the car finder app near the lifts crashed when we tried to use it.

A perfect shopping centre with all the major chains virtually under one roof. You have to leave the mall and take a few steps to get to Primark, Wilko and Sainsbury's. Nice and compact with lots of places to eat lunch - also benches to eat your own.

Festival Place has a real happening vibe, and there are plenty of shops/cafés (as you would hope from a shopping centre). I don't recall seeing any vacant lots, which is always a good sign. Also, it's directly opposite the train station, so very easy to get to!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Festive Place Mall in Basingstoke recently, and it exceeded my expectations! The holiday decorations were beautifully done, creating a magical atmosphere. The selection of stores was impressive, offering a wide range of options for gifts and treats. The cheerful staff were helpful and really added to the festive spirit. It was a delightful shopping experience, and I'll be sure to return for my future holiday shopping! The toilets were hygienic and maintained well.

I like Festival Place, it is spacious, plenty of cafes ..and shops. Even when busy it never feels crowded. Obviously with the COVID issues, a few premises are vacant, but even these are made to look good. 'Eat Street' is always a good place to find a variety of cuisines.

Festival Place is a shopping centre situated in the centre of Basingstoke, housing over 140 big brand stores including Next, Marks & Spencer, Apple, H&M, and Jack Wills. It is home to over 20 mouthwatering eateries including Côte Brasserie, Las Iguanas, Ask Italian, Pizza Express, Wagamama, Pret, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, and Nando’s and a 10 screen Vue multiplex cinema. Festival Place is Basingstoke's Premier Shopping Destination

Cinema visit. The centre was fairly busy but not too overcrowded. Shame that some traders are missing but good to see that there some new stores coming on line.

This is a great shopping mall with just about everything you could wish for including great eateries for foodies like me. Slight downside is that the outlets seem very warm inside and uncomfortable. That apart it's well worth travelling there as it is a very clean and tidy centre.

Shopping Centre fine, plenty of shops and some you won't find locally like a soap shop. There is also a German kebab shop to be opened which is worth visiting if your a kebab nut. Picture of burger King about to hit a triple whopper full force.

Fairly large mall in close proximity to Basingstoke train station which makes it convenient for a day trip. Lots going on at this time of year, performers playing instruments and dancing which is good for kids. Usual standard of shops, nothing too high end which is nice, would be nice to have something to do for entertainment such as a cinema or an amusement arcade etc.

Love Festival Place but sad that so many stores have gone since the pandemic began, hopefully stores plus new stores will return. Shame to waste good spots.

Love coming here, still a teenager but I've been coming here my entire life. Still an enjoyable experience although not as much as it used to be. Through no fault of their own, some of my favourite Festival Place stores have closed, but even then I still have a great time coming here. Hard to recommend to people because everybody I know in the area comes here! Very excited because I'm actually going this coming weekend! :)

The Christmas decorations in Festival Place are looking good again this year. It certainly gets you into the Christmas spirit and makes shopping more fun and enjoyable. There is even a talking Reindeer called Festa, that the children love.

  • 5/5 Paul H. 1 year ago on Google
Possibly the best thing Basingstoke has going for it. A great range of shops, especially Slaters. Car park is huge, but you can drive a mile from your parking space to get out of it sometimes.

  • 5/5 Chan S. 2 years ago on Google
Quite a shopping centre! Huge, excellent facilities, plenty of parking and overall nice experience shopping here. A lot of the high street shops are even bigger here and have more stuff than elsewhere. Definitely worth revisiting.

  • 4/5 Mark K. 2 years ago on Google
Not to busy early morning good time to go. Plenty of hand sanitizers around. Plenty of shops to choose from. However Festival place gift cards. They last a year after purchase. If you go past that year for unforseen circumstances then they will take £9.00 off that card so you can spend the rest. So if you are buying a voucher for someone who is in a front line job who is working long hours and does not get time to go shopping. Thin of an alternative.

  • 5/5 Immy K. 1 year ago on Google
One of best shopping mall I have visited. Its my daughter's favourite and good place for the family. Parking is brilliant and very reasonable. All the shops under one roof can't go wrong with that. Good public facilities.

  • 4/5 Fred C. 1 year ago on Google
Clean and tidy. Love the sign to help you find your car if you've " lost" it! Not the easiest place to navigate as signs are conflicting, ( told to walk right, then a few meters later told to walk left, where ypu have come from?) Signage to get into festival place and town parking is non existent! Good selection of high street brands.

  • 4/5 Bob B. 1 year ago on Google
Easy access from M3 with plenty of car parking. Also literally across the road from the rail station and the bus depot is within the development. Large area of shops under cover on two floors with escalators and lifts direct from some parking areas. Plenty of food outlets of various types from Burgers to French to Italian. Quite a few shops now closed down or empty but I guess that's a sign of the times. Cheap parking after 5.00pm for evenings out at the VUE cinema or a meal in one of the eateries. Overall, pleasant enough and a lot better than many town centres.

  • 4/5 H J. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of shops to look at but not too overwhelming. Nice little selection of food places as well so you're not too overwhelmed when deciding what to eat when you need a little sit down.

  • 5/5 Graham R. 1 year ago on Google
I use the car park, it is located centrally, appears secure, and parking is easy, with a lot of space to manoeuvre the car and between cars when parked. I drive a big car, but getting the car in and out of the car park shows that the planners knew what they were doing. I park all over the country as part of my work, and this is an example of how to do it well.

  • 5/5 Josh K. 1 year ago on Google
Festival place has a huge selection of shops, restaurants and attractions, and when we visited it was well kept, clean and safe. Plenty of parking made it easy to visit (as well as being very close to the train station for Public Transport), and parking costs were very reasonable. Everything was well signposted, and was surprising just how much was on offer.

  • 2/5 Padventures 1 year ago on Google
Not a great deal left on what was once a great shopping centre. If you want your nails done, hair done, want a coffee and a look around a charity shop then head on down to festival place. Oh and you can even get a Gregg's on your way out!

  • 4/5 Neil J. 3 years ago on Google
Not been to Festival Place for many months so returned today to see what it was like and any ideas for Christmas. There was plenty of COVID signage and areas of one direction only which did mean a bit of a detour if you notice a shop in the wrong direction! Fairly busy although there were far more empty shops than at the beginning of the year. May have missed it but no sign of the pop up Christmas shop which was so good last year for Xmas ideas. Overall not bad but not such a variety of shops as there used to be.

  • 5/5 Nizamudeen A. 1 year ago on Google
Big, well accessible malls. Poundland, Iceland and primark alone makes every trip worth it. There's a Christmas tree in front of the metro bank now

  • 2/5 Daren B. 1 year ago on Google
Always clean and tidy, plenty of toilets. Majority of the the units are empty reflecting the sign of the times with no department stores. Fair few mainstream restaurants and good cinema facilities which are really the only reason to visit.
