Really beautiful place, couldn't find the toilet though but it was a very lovely experience walking through the streets. So many shops to choose from.

Take a shopping centre but don't put too much of a roof on it and sparsely sprinkle some shops to browse on your way to the bus station. It's fine, but not the best architecture or layout, not helped by the sprinkling of random vendor cabins restricting access on some "avenues".

Great shopping centre. Plenty to offer, appears to have a great public transport system, parking is reasonably priced. Worth a visit

Excellent shopping complex with all big brands and variety of food choice through so many restaurants. Complex has been lighted due to Christmas adding to its beauty. One must visit .

Loved it, loads of independent retailer shops around. Noted the bus station was right next door too. Felt really Christmasie.

Lovely place. Wide variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Clean area. Plenty of parking, although some car parks are quite expensive. We had a great day looking around the shops. Its a shame that so many shops have closed down. The architecture of the buildings is amazing, so beautiful.

Great Christmas Market and atmosphere. Marked down due to poor toilet facilities. The toilets are out of the main shopping area, down some stairs and you also have to pay. Toilets in M&S very busy, with queues out of the doors. Every store in high Street should have customer toilets IMO.

Great shopping centre with a good range of stores, and it's a lovely clean space. Something for everyone and can happily spend a day wandering around, doing a spot of shopping. Plenty of places to stop for a drink or a bite to eat, there should be something to suit everyone here, and decent range of prices as well.

Plenty of shops and places to grab a bite to eat. Parking is very limited and expensive in Canterbury but the park and ride is cheap and easy

Canterbury is probably the best place to shop in the county of Kent. Many of the big names are there but it is the independent and specialist shops that make it. It's variety of restaurants, cafes and pubs also make it a great place to eat and drink. In the wider area is a wealth of historical and tourist attractions

What an amazing place. A pleasure to visit any time. Very nice time spent with the family. So quite and full of history with very nice old places and artisanal shops. Highly recomended.

We spent hours there not just at the Christmas market but also on the nearby streets, by the river, and at the Canterbury Cathedral. Finding a car park is easy there.

There is a great selection of shops, usually pretty clean and tidy. Can get a little busy with students in the area. Good central place to shop for students and tourists. Great transport connections across Kent. There are often events taking place here too.

This place is cheap and very big.If you are visiting the place for a short time, do not waste your vacancy in your luggage for bringing towels, slippers, socks or shampoo. You can buy them from this store. It will be cheaper than you think.

Popped into WHSmiths for a specific magazine and they didn't disappoint! Also passed some pop up cards for all occasions. Think they were £5.50. To me that's expensive, but some people may pay that!!

This is where I didn't expect to end up with my friends while walking around in Canterbury. You can take a free bus to the Whitefriars from Canterbury centre.

I attended for shopping at Christmas but didn't end up buying much although I ate loads. There were a lot of lovely stalls and shops, lots of sales this time of year. Security are about but signage to their whereabouts could be made clearer or information points for emergencies. I found an elderly man slumped on all fours, it turned out he had just fallen as his knees gave way. I requested the security on site attend as I had just seen them as I walked past them but failing that I would never have known and would have called an ambulance and or police myself.

Great open air shopping centre, great selection of retailers from high end to more regular options. Open space is often used for markets and craft fairs. Parking in the city is always a expensive option, but if you need to shop then you cannot beat the options available at White friars and the surrounding area.

Canterbury city centre, and especially Whitefrairs, is a great place for shopping, you have most of the store you would need in a relatively small area, however the scenery is tottaly different from that of a mall, as you get to walk through the old streets of a Roman City and that offers you a great and unique experience, plus you get shops for everyone in terms of price ranges. Also in December you get a lovely Christmas Market.

Your average strip mall. Its clean and they try to do quirky stuff with the food vans but its just your average shops you'd see in any other town. Good for locals but not worth seeing otherwise.

Within recent years my wife and I have become a firm favourites of Wetherspoon’s, why? Quality product at a competitive price. So combine that with the facilities of a Hotel, the result is success. Stayed over 2 nights and thoroughly impressed. We will definitely stay again

Great little spot. Staff super friendly and accommodating us and our little Pup. Both had flat whites and they were delicious. Please do go as you won't regret it!

This is a pretty, popular part of the city. Street stalls interesting shops, historic buildings, sneaky views of the cathedral down little alleys ancient hump back bridge over the Stour. Pedestrianised more or less. Sadly, several homeless people in sleeping bags in doorways a commentary on our times.

Great area for a day out. Brings a bit of sense of normality. Not far away from Canterbury Cathedral and lots of beautiful places around.

One of my absolutely favourite shopping places, could easily spend the day here and love the 3 floor Primark! It's got an old fashioned charm to it and love the cobbled streets, a good selection of stores as well. Highly recommended A+++++

Ate at Fenwick's Eatery. The beans accompanying the baked potato look a bit dehydrated; needed reminding for the grandson's drink of milk and the grated cheese (an extra £1.50!) for his pasta.

Lots of work going on, to get the Christmas Huts built, then decorated ready for opening day on Saturday 12th November. Good luck to all the builders, carpenters etc getting things ready and to the Stall holders, from Saturday onwards. I hope your efforts are rewarded.

I went in the whitefriers after attending a funeral. I liked the atmosphere in there. The staff were very attentive. I would like to go in there again but it's a bit far for me as I live in Norwich.

Lots of shop front look run down spoiling the walk through the main street. But still enjoyed the town centre. It's worth visiting and checking the area

I had a lovely lunch time sitting outside Next eating my Greek food and watching tennis on the large screen that had been set up. If I hadn't of been driving I would have indulged in a peach Bellini or Kir Royal that was being served on one of the stalls. It was all very civilised.

Plenty of well-known and less well-known ones in the area. One could well spend all day window shopping...and buying...all sorts of goods. Also, multiple places to rest and enjoy a coffee or tea whilst "people watching!"

Overall quite nice. If you want to get something to eat there's plenty of options ranging from McDonald's to restaurants. There are a lot of clothes stores which makes this centre great for shopping for all of your needs. There is also a park and a garden which you can visit for free. This place is ideal If you need to go shopping. And with multiple age ranges across the stores this place is great for everyone.

What a fantastic place and it's free to visit

It's one of those strange places, a shopping centre in a medieval city, it shouldn't work but it does, really well. There's loads of shops and it was really busy when we visited but it's a pleasant place to be. It was literally a flying visit as we were collecting someone from there but we managed to have a little look and will be returning soon.

Was very busy, I liked the hustle and bustle . Still plenty of shops to visit. And please don't forget the Cathedral. It is fantastic to wander round or sit in quiet reflection. Various restaurants for every choice or small cafes, pubs. You've got it all.
