Nice calm park in the center of crowds and shops. A bronze statue of Lord George Bentinck gives you a historic touch to it. The grass is green and mowed to about 3 inches long. Enough places around for lunchin opportunities and shopping, lots of construction though, taking away peace.

Nice garden square near Oxford Street. It has lots of benches if you want a rest or a place for lunch.

Beautiful public Georgian garden square. There is a parking underneath and there are plans to redevelop the square with a subterranean health and wellbeing development. The squared was target by the IRA in 1992. A statue of Prince William, Duke of Cumberland was erected in the centre in 1770 but was removed in the 1860s after public opinion of him had changed. The plinth remains empty.

Nice park to sit and have a bite. Not too crowded usually.

What could be a lovely square is spoilt by the litter and smell of urine at the Henrietta Place entrance. Clearly a hang out for alcoholics and drug users in the night time.

The underbelly festival bought drink and food outlets to this charming, spacious square. Really relaxing to sit down and have some lunch on a balmy autumn day. Tex Mex outlet especially recommended.

Nice place for a stop but the employee that closes it and locks up speaks to women like they are dogs, clicking his fingers and shouting at them 'come on out, out, now, move.' Sickening.

Good availability of benches to sit out and some grassed areas for picnics. There are local shops where you can buy snacks to eat in the gardens area. No special amenities for children though. The gardens aren't really big enough for ball games. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead.

Nice and quiet around 9.30am, lots of places to sit and relax. No toilets/play area. Some cute dogs passing by 🐕

A lovely little green oasis just steps away from the super busy Oxford Street. I like that this delightful park has a number of pieces of outdoor art.

Lovely gardens that feel very spacious and unencumbered by the surrounding city. It is not massive or very well provided for, but it takes the place of the top green spot within this area of central London

This public gardens is set in Cavendish Square is a public square, close to Oxford Circus, at the juncture where Oxford Street and Regent Street meet. The gardens is actually quite small, but well maintains as you'd expect in an expensive area of London and also contain some interesting statues and sculptures.

Green, breezy and natural garden seating space kitted out for Underbelly festival, finally a shared space in London that's not all tight and anxious

We went to see La Clique at the Underbelly Festival. Amazing performers, incredible skill and good fun! There are food and bar trucks set up outside with plenty of choices so come early and enjoy them too.

Wee hidden gem minutes away from Oxford Circus. Circular, cosy, well separated from streets around. Good for a stretch of legs and lunch. When I saw it, it was well furnished with picnic benches and pop-up food/drink bars - possibly due to it's being occupied by the Underbelly Festival (summer '21)

Great show. But the Underbelly needed a bit more tbh. Next year hopefully it'll be back to its glory.

It's a great place to sit and relax. There are lots of tables and covered areas to sit and have either your own food or from the food stalls on the site. I haven't tried any myself but there are steak burgers and fish available daily from 12pm. There are lots of toilets on site, only open after 12 though. There are live shows at set times of the day too.

A little gem in middle of busy city. During summer it hosts underbelly comedy fest, live shows all day, with plenty of food stands, couple of bars, waiter to your table service via app (scan table barcode to open app), or you can just walk in with your own food. There is security checking bags upon entry dur8ng the fest for weapons. If the sun is out there's nothing better than to stretch on one of the loungers (free), order apple Cidre and maybe a salmon burger and transform your lunch hour into paradise 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
