A simple and nice place to hang out with friends to enjoy Turkish food especially their shish and kofte are good with bulgur rice. The falafel is simole superbb loved itt.... Its just at tge corner of tye famous St Paul's church beside the Cheap street. The London Underground station is just beneath the hotel building and i svery easily accessible in Central London

I had made a reservation thinking the place would be busy for a Saturday evening but it seemed fairly quiet in terms of diners. The restaurant has a premium feeling with the dim lighting, comfortable chairs and nice decor. Ordered the following: Icli Kofte (stuffed meatballs) was delicious. Iskender Kebap came with lamb shish, chicken, lamb kofte and was served with yoghurt and pide bread. It was perfectly cooked and flavourful with a generous amount of meat. La Passion mocktail was ok, standard fruit juice. Granted we were dining in the city and as such I’d expect to pay more for everything but for what we got it felt a tad overpriced as the chips and salad needed to be ordered separately. Service provided by Engin Kemer was exceptional from taking our order to checking in on us throughout our meal. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for halal Turkish food in the St Paul's area.

Great location although no view of St Paul’s Cathedral and the staff were a little unfriendly!

Slow service, could be forgotten if you don’t call and request. I was assured by the waiter that all meats are Halal. Delicious starters and Iskender. However the Kofta is too thick and I did not enjoy it. I requested a Turkish tea at the end and it was provided on the house. Thank you!

Very beautiful and spacious . Bread was warm and freshly baked. I had the octopus- definitely not my favourite- was cold, was served with olives, too salty .For mains, I tried mixed grill as recommended by the waiter- it did not disappoint - fragrant and well seasoned .Deserts were all cold which is not my preference so I opted out .Thoroughly enjoyed La passion(mocktail)

Amazing Food BUT Extremely poor service. Haz restaurant – it use to be my favourite place to dine in and celebrate some occasions. It still is but… let's start from the beginning. Atmosphere – restaurant design is very tasteful and welcoming. Food is AMAZING. All gratitude to the chef. Reasonable portions, great presentation and very tasty. Prices – affordable like for a night out in central London. Employees – it’s a total disaster. The last time, I was there with my office colleges, it was madness. Parade of waiters, mixed drinks order, super long time waiting to place an order or to get something from the waiter. The waiter probably was temp, because they look sad and not interested at all in the job. I do recommend this place only because of the food! Get for yourself lots of wine to sit through poor service. I hope after all the covid situation management will be able to hire passionate and well-trained waiting staff.

food is tasty, starters can improve, mains are good but a bit overpriced. Turkish tea is not really Turkish. Baklava is not original but it is very good.

We had lunch at Haz. My coworkers was still eating/chewing and the waiter took her food without her finishing the food. They had a Xmas menu which was way more expensive for the food you get. We paid 40 pounds each for lunch including three small starter plats, main and desert. The food was good but It was not worth it in terms of service, the expensive Xmas menu and quantity of food. The lamb was nice.

Nice evening at Haz. Good service from friendly waiting staff, food was served promptly with recommendation on dishes from staff. We ordered a mix of food that was tasty and really well cooked. Quite expensive though. 3 people with a few glasses of wine, starters and mains was £175, which I guess is the going rate for London. On balance, I would return

Loving their food, had Iskender and the portion are really generous.nice selection of starters. However the seating where I am at could be a little warm.

Nice enough large Turkish chain restaurant. Food was good but service quite difficult and unfriendly and the atmosphere of a large work canteen. We were told mid evening the bar would be closing soon and basically hurry up, which being in a large group was surprising. Desserts good.

Very nice and unexpected Turkish restaurant right next to St Paul's. They serve until very late: we ordered around 9.30pm and by the end of our diner, new people came in and ordered. It was past 10.30pm. Food was tasty and the staff very nice.

Great food, great fast service. But you cannot hold a conversation inside, Even without the bass music (you can't hear anything else of the music) the noise of everyone else is too loud. Some sound dampening is needed.

Went for a team Christmas lunch on a set menu, it was very expensive for what it was. The food was reasonable but the portions where very small, for example the starters didn't have enough bread with it and no more bread arrived despite asking. The main was just meat, the meat was tasty but it needed some sides, such as vegetables/rice/bread. The dessert was tiny. The staff were nice but there weren't enough so it took a long, long time to get food. Overall not up to scratch given the cost.

I’ve been to a lot of Turkish restaurants and this is pretty nice. Fantastic location and views of St Paul’s cathedral. The food is really good, we had a collection of meze starters and 3 mains. Our favourite mains were the iskender and lamb on aubergine. For desert we liked baclava

Pulled up 15mins till the kitchen closed, a little tipsy after a night of a few drinks and so wasn't expecting anything special - just something to fill my stomach. Boy was I in for a lot more. The roasted cauliflower was delightful - cooked and seasoned well and was on a bed of mint sauce that I didn't leave a trace of. The falafel was very tasty as well. Will be sure to go back during the day.

Saturday night dinner! Haz has improved a lot since the last time I’ve dined in the restaurant. The food was very delicious and enjoyed it a lot. I’ve ordered the octopus for starters and for main the swordfish - my favourite seafood dishes. My partner went for the chicken skewers for main and did not like them and felt his stomach didn’t agree with his dish choice. Overall I enjoyed my meal , the octopus wasn’t oily at all and just enough lemon flavour and the sliced green olives were a great touch, the swordfish was grilled and was served with a chimichurri sauce (tasted like it) and a tomato base sauce for the boiled potato and spinach. I definitely recommend these dishes. The waiter was very friendly and delivered a very good service, the food was very quick to arrive.

Food is fantastic, though starter sizes (just average presentation) not worth the price. Al fresco seating was nice tho careful of pigeons and gulls. And we were unlucky to have the bells going non stop since 7:06pm for two hours. My partner had to put on his ear plugs. Service does affect our experience a lot. Waved our hands to get attention but still no response, then we went over to them to order. Starter came but we still without drinks. And we thought of making it easy for them by asking for a jug of water but they say they can only bring glasses of water. Then we ordered drinks, those are fast. So water be slow, paid drinks be fast. Think maybe when you were sat outdoors, there was only the one person, and when another staff tried to help, seems the one person has control and didn't seem to like the help. And that one person didn't seem to be happy given the workload he piled on himself. Different experience to other Haz we've been.

Good location. Spacious sitting. Below average food. Had to send rice back as it was spoiled.

Pros: - I liked the food. Great taste. - It came out pretty fast despite the restaurant being very crowded. Cons: - It was extremely loud. - The price wasn't justified. I've had much better meals of the same cuisine type at cheaper restaurants.

Food is really good but very pricey for Turkish food in London, however that’s quite standard for the location. The ambience and vibe are really nice, the restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. Lovely place but overpriced.

Initially doubted this being in the city and a chain type place, however, the food was outstanding. Calamari, crispy and fresh, aubergine meat dish was outstanding, the lamb chops juicy and flavoursome, sword fish was something different - interesting flavours not typical Turkish. Worth a visit, slightly pricey due to location.

Very popular restaurant for business lunches. Very vibey (read noisy) and busy, however all our food was great and the service was acceptable for the levels of business. Definitely need to book ahead of time. Well recommended.

I did my sisters Hen Party here and Christina arranged everything for me. The service and food was excellent! Christina was very helpful as I had special dietary requirements for one of the guests. I was impressed with everything and we all really enjoyed!

Great atmosphere. Very busy. Food is really great, lamb chops were nice especially the Mint Sauce. Flexible in changing the order. Sometimes difficult to get attention from servers but due to high volume, but everyone is very friendly. Would definitely come back again.

Excellent service and a delicious meal! The staff took excellent care of us, in my opinion. Our waiter was excellent, and I will request him again if I return.

Fantastic service. As soon as we sat down by 2 year old was brought a drink and some fruit, without us asking for a thing. What a sweet gesture. All of the staff, with special mention to Levent was just fantastic. We can't wait to go again.

Amazing atmosphere. Would say far from traditional Turkish restaurant but in the good way. Elegant and classy interiors. Food is so delicious and the drinks also. Staff members are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended. Will definitely come again soon
