Culture culture culture! As a Jamaican American, coming here was a real treat. I felt at home listening to the patois on the street and smelling all the amazing food. My favorite part of Brixton.

Easily one of the best markets in London. Super colourful with an incredible variety of exotic fruit and veggies, fresh meat, fish, loads of independent gift stores and food options as well. Everyone was kind and helpful when choosing what to buy or try. We bought lots of Caribbean fresh fruit and enjoyed Ethiopian food. Oh, and found some really wonderful beauty + skin products with natural ingredients only. Would recommend for a nice day out!

Nice Afro market. "Addis coffee roasters" is highly recommended for their amazing injera sharing platter

The vibe is unreal, I always love to come back here. Great variety of food from all over the world, served by people who are representing their cultures. Amazing experience. Love Colombian food here the most. But still so many things to try. Live music can quite often be heard here too, so don't miss a chance!

Great little market of independent businesses. Food, drinks, baked goods and crafts providing a unique range to explore. It definitely represents part of 'modern' London but still maintains a genuine, community atmosphere. It's not far from Brixton main line or tube stations.

Brixton village market is an eclectic collection of small indoor market shops. It is very multicultural with food outlets from all over the world. We had a sit down meal in a shop that accommodates just 6 customers and serves vegan Eritrean and Ethiopian food. Very novel. The small shops and restaurants are not upmarket but the place is clean and hygenic. It is well worth a visit as there are no run of the mill national chains and there is lots of variety of food and drink to choose from as well as fruit and veg stalls.

The Joint - friendly and helpful service. I didn't want the set meal was able to chop and change to a meal that I wanted. Food was delicious and their sausages were 💯 quality.

Good little spot for drinks and lunch/dinner. We stopped at Kraft on our most recent visit for a few drinks. The cocktails were pretty good and they had a solid beer collection which they seem to rotate. On the few occasions I’ve visited, a lot has been shut so certain areas can feel a little dead but a great place nonetheless.

A beautiful, bohemian eclectic space...in the midst of all that glorious hullabaloo of sounds, smells, colours, and humanity...that is, Brixton Station, and the outdoor market 😀

When arriving at the market, it was impossible to find parking so unless you come by public transport don’t bother, that took about 30 mins to find. Don’t know if it’s a London thing but some people are so rude, disabled toilets were closed and security insisted we use the staff restroom, however as we approached the toilets we were stopped by a staff member saying who let us in and we went to explain, she shrugged and stormed off. Majority of stores were closed, actually went home empty handed, hoping to find something for the kids however the one store possibly that may have something was closed we went around 11 and were walking distance to find any store worthy to take our money but no luck. And don’t think you can sit and eat at one place if you have other things purchased from other stores although you purchased food from the place you intend to sit which was bizarre. Thumbs down 👎 from me for this market. And let’s not start about the electric scooter and bikes, we took one out intending to find our parked car however there were no designated spot to park the scooter so we can proceed to our car, the place we picked up the scooter was the closest parking spot which is silly. So yeah, probably not the best market to visit as a tourist.

I hope I can cover everything in one review so here I go. I have only used parts of the place so will cover those bits. My first thing is you can go have a meal with your dogs. Which is super important as there are a lot of venues that don't allow dogs just outside the market. The best place for me is Stems Wilder the flower show. Run by an amazing local business woman they have some awesome choices at very reasonable prices. I'm not going to go into individual places other than that but there are loads of options for food. Japanese, Mexican, Italian but also vegan and vegetarian options. Also there are tables with numbers and a QR code. Those tables will get your table service from some of the vendors. Very handy on a Friday or Saturday when the place is absolutely buzzing with lot of people and live music.

Small market place in Brixton, London is definitely worth a visit when in the area. It’s 5 min away from the subway station (Brixton, Victoria line) and does offer a good choice of markets (food, other goods) as well as a selection of couple of small Cafes. Also, if the the area visit the Cafe Whipped for a really tasty cake/cheesecake 🍰

Great Saturday night vibes. Lots of choices for food and drink. Awesome meal at the Joint. Had never been to Brixton village before and with the chilly winter, a thicker coat would have been ideal! Not too far from the underground. Looking forward to visiting again.

A good lively place to eat with a very diverse selection of small restaurants. We went to Honest Burger which has a good choice of burgers I had the chilli burger which was delicious. I don't know if you can book but on a Monday night but fortunately they managed to squeeze in my party of four. I imagine its normally very busy and you may have to wait for a table.

Lots of stuff under one roof and all of it independent. Great food offerings and niche stores. Great for eats and a wander.

Brixton market is a great place to browse around, pick up some food or just have lunch/cocktails. There are several, small, independent food establishments here with a great range of items.

The whole world is in and around this famous market. If you are looking for exotic fruit and vegetables come and visit this exciting place. It is a busy place and you will hear many languages and see many nationalities. If you think that an hour or two is sufficient, you will be wrong. I have been there twice so far and I feel that I have seen only a small part of this exciting place

A large market called Brixton Village. They have many entrances which you can access by checking the signs above you but also you'll find yourself wandering around in this maze and out and back inside as you find another entrance you haven't explored yet. This place is famous for their variety selections of goods, food and drinks, merchandises, plants, clothing, shoe fixing, fish and meat stalls etc. I would say it's a very cultural place to be in, they have Europe, India, Asia, Africa, South America and the Caribbean all presented across the whole market A fun place to explore and to enjoy!

a nice little market. was quite crowded last time i went, and one of the restrooms were out of service meaning i had to use the unisex ones. overall i enjoyed my time there and visited Etta's Seafood Kitchen which i would recommend!

Loads of different places to eat and drink. A very upbeat and happy vibe. With all the variety, you are bound to find something that you enjoy, and the 2 places I ate from (The Crepe place and the Pizza place) were very tasty and very quick. I did enjoy that you can scan a QR code, and they'll bring you your food where ever you're sitting. That is a lovely touch.

It’s smaller than expected, but there are some fresh seafood available to buy, w good price, like 10£ for 1kg prawns

Very nice small market with lots of little latino restaurants, latino butchers, fish shops and cakes. Good prices for what you get. There are public toilets too.

Cute little market. Houses the famous Fish Wings and Tings. Food isn't much cheaper than other parts of London but it is better. Donut Time has nothing on the cheesecake and donut shop in here.
