Love the cornmeal porridge and friendly chats. Wide variety of English and Caribbean snacks and breakfast items, hot drinks etc. Highly recommend.

Probably the most friendly cafe I've ever been to. Love to go even just for a chat! Have the jerk chicken sandwich semi-regularly and couldn't recommend it or the railway cafe more.

So friendly, even the people who eat there. Can't say I expected it to be Jamaican but was pleasantly surprised by the spice on the jerk chicken 🤤 gorgeous.

I've had Curry Goat a few time now, which has been consistently excellent. Lots of meat, little bone and pure flavour. Rice and peas is also lovely.

Amazing place that's transformed the area. A suburban pub that's busy every morning and evening. Everything from a collaboration with the council library to provide children's activities during the day to pub quizzes and gigs at night. Anyone involved in running a local pub could learn a lot from The Railway.
