If I fancy a glass of something interesting in a laid back, cosy atmosphere, then W & L is perfect and my first choice. Lovely owners always greet you at the door. The wine list has plenty to tempt me. Food is delicious and unfussy. You can pair cheese & meat boards, meat skewers, oysters and more with fantastic selection of wine where some of the wines and delicatessens come straight from Abruzzo region in Italy. This is a must visit little ( and romantic ) wine bar in beautiful Merton Abbey Mills hidden gem in South Wimbledon.

I have to write this review as I've just noticed a dodgy review on here. The lovely hosts at wine and love are so very hospitable. The fresh focaccia panini are a favourite for me and my family. Me, my partner and our children very frequently eat here and it every time has been perfect. Thank you wine n love. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Lovely owners and the wine selector is amazing. The little canapés coupled with some of the wines from Italy are simply a delight. I used Emmanuella for my wedding in Italy ( as this shop also offers wedding planning) She was efficient and I was able to have the wedding I wanted without the stress. Highly recommended.

Where do you start! From beautifully fresh oysters to a great selection of wines and more importantly the owners, they’re a breath of fresh air. Always making you feel welcome. Charcuterie board absolutely delicious and wines for most budgets. And meat Skewers (kebabs) to die for. Very unique little place.

I have been to this charming wine bar many times, and in the summer I decided to go there with friends for dinner. We enjoyed an array of delicious meats and cheeses - the skewers are particularly recommended! - and the wine is really reasonably priced considering how good it is and how well they know their stuff! Highly recommended.

A lovely selection of wines and great niche products which show case the best of Italian flavours. Particular attention should go to the Arrosticini and the oysters are second to none, absolutely divine! The owners themselves couldn't be friendlier, and it's lovely to always feel welcome when you walk in.

Really exquisite restaurant to taste great and varied wines from across the world you can’t easily find everywhere. Oysters are supplied daily and are delicious! The portions are a bit small except for focaccias. Great choice for a date night.

Cozy, authentic small Abruzzi/Italian cafe/bar. Italian bar snacks and great wine. Inside and outside seating. Recommended.

What a gem we have here in Merton Abbey Mills. Wine and Love is a nice little hide out from the hustle and bustle in Wimbledon and London. Fantastic selection of fine international wines at good prices. Highly sugguest that you give Wine and Love a visit...you'll love it! Derek

We had a nice walk and after we visited Wine and Love this weekend randomly. Is a very dark place when you step inside is just no atmosphere at all, very depressing look. We had some really low quality food and sandwiches. The sandwich bread was the cheapest you can buy like in Tesco for example and the quality of the ingredients was super cheap like as the wine. The day after we eat there my husband had a food poisoning and he turned up very sick, he is fine for now. If you don't want to be sick of the food what they serving don't go there, very cheap ingredients and wine and they selling it for far too much money. Not recommended at all. Very bad experience!
