Great place to go for a long walk with family, highly recommend if you need to clear your mind or just get away from busy life.

Great local museum. Fun for the adults and the kids. They often have mini events during holidays and over festive events. Can easily spend an hour here. Have breakfast at the Brewers Fayre Royal Forest first and then walk the Chingford Plains and Epping Forest first and end up here. Highly recommended.

Me and my partner visited Epping forest yesterday for his birthday, it was extra rainy and we traveled two hours on public transport to get here. The staff were really kind and showed us our walking routes on the map and gave us advice on distances (we ended up on the shorter path due to the weather). We had a great time despite the rain and we were even given a badge each by the staff for free. We will be back (ideally on a sunny day) !

A great asset for the area - we visited the gift shop, and sells all things championing the local area, details of walks, information about Epping Forest and bits for kids. The View also has a community room available to hire, and toilets & baby changing facilities - which is super useful on an active family day out! :)

Hired the hall for children’s 6th birthday party. Staff were exceptional and the room hire was reasonably priced and included use of kitchen/crockery/dishwasher etc. It was a lovely warm day and we got to use the courtyard too for the kids to run around in, and parents to sit and chat while the kids were entertained. Highly recommended! Will be back to explore the forest and surrounding area x

Regular events / exhibitions celebrating Epping Forest and providing information on its history. There is a lovely shop and rooms for hire. The Queen's Hunting Lodge, Butler's Retreat and The Brewers Fayre Royal Forest pub are either side of it as well as being surrounded by Epping Forest with great views and walks.

Great volunteering for Epping Heritage Conservation Trust. Getting fresh air and finally knowing why cutting certain hawthorns near a tree that needs more light is important to their survival. Looking forward to participating actively to more projects of this kind and I shall be happy to conduct workshops in 2D to 3D 360 and macro photography
